lumper Posted June 22, 2019 Share Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) We are going to give this a trial run to see .)1 who might be interested and see if there are people who want to do this and .)2 what ideas we can put together for it as a group. So my thought was start with 1 persistent posse of 7, unless of course we have enough players to form 2, 7 man posse's. We would then work as a group or whoever was on at the same time, and do patrols, if we find a situation where newer players are being harassed we form a quick plan of attack and come in gunz blazing and protect them, wipe out the griefiing squad or individual. We set up a temp for now discord so we can chat and figure stuff out outside of the game, it is free and easy to use, this way we have a central meeting place. In game we arent goign to claim territory and get bogged down with defending turf, our turf is the entire map. We will decide everything we do as a group, so for that reason we want to recruit like minded people who think this would be fun. If you have any interest in an xbox group like this let me know, Im trying to get a feel for if there is any interest at all or not, then we will go from there. No ranks, no strict rules, possibly partial uniforms, but nothing too serious, just something to show we are together, probably the same hats and shirts, or ponchos, but again, we are just brainstorming. Most of all it needs to be light and fun, and positive, we want to make a positive impact on the game we love. All levels are welcomed however it woudl be nice to get as many higher level players as we can for obvious reasons, I am level 148 currently, my partner in this is level 32. I am in another group, a milsim and for my money it is too hectic, chaotic, at times, toxic even, it is hard to deal with 70 teenagers lol, so this will be the opposite of that. My posse has witnessed low-level players getting hammered, and responded. And my rider seen me lasso a gator and drag it over to a needy player at the risk of getting shot as I approach; I/we are all about that, Lump. I can afford the poncho and sombrerou have resisted, thinking I'd only wear them inside a dark room on a moonless night lol. You know your in if you want to be right? lol the Sombrero thing was just an idea, we havent made any decisions about anything yet as I want to get the group all together then put it to a vote or take suggestions, I want everyone to be part of the decisions, so... its just my idea on it I think its a great look, I love it and I think if everyone wore the same type of hat and poncho, those that see us coming can see even by silhouette that we are an organized group, but I didnt want to require a specific uniform, sometimes people dont like it and then you have issues, I figured this way, its just a hat and poncho, everyone can get one, any color combo they want, and use it when we are together, dont wear if you want otherwise, it is like your poor mans vigilante uniform, lol. But again, once we get up to 7 we will put it to a vote and take suggestions and see where we land on it. Anyway if you want to join us, Ill send you a discord invite and you are in. I'd like to remind people that general discussions & debates regarding topics are to be kept in the appropriate forums. This is a recruitment thread. A place for inquiries, etc. regarding the posse, not a place to continue a debate, hash out rivalries or to criticise the OP about their group. Likewise, posse / recruitment discussions should also remain here, in the Posse Recruitment sub-forum. The discussion of this posse should be kept in this thread to help eliminate the possibility of negative traffic following back. In either case, this should be the only place people should be gauging interest, recruiting, advertising, etc. for their posse. Another posse was mentioned earlier and there was a misunderstanding. It was acknowledged and I told folks to leave it at that. That should be clear now if it wasn't before. If there is a problem with a particular post, etc., then please report it or PM one of us. .....or feel free to PM me if you have questions about anything I have discussed here and I'll be more than happy to help. I would like to join a posses that helps each other on deliveries (long or short) & Bounties that involve capturing 2, 4, or 6 bounties for one poster. Plus I learned today, the more players in your posse the more role xp you get for completing missions. Did a resupply with two other friends. All 3 of use had to grab a bag of supplies. When we got back to camp & drop the supplies off. I got 625 role xp for my bag,I got 625 for my friend, & I got another 625 from the 3rd person. If you guys do want to join us, Ill become more active in it again. Tomorrow Ill get the discord info and update the post, Ill let my partners know also so they will know to welcome any new folks who want to join us. It would be nice to have help for those who want it.
