Child Predators on YouTube... It is a problem

I don't know if anyone heard the latest but a bunch of people are trying to take down that nut job Onision down. He is that weird dude who made that knife or banana song like 10 years ago. The dude is legit crazy and I think most people watched him just for shock factor. Anyways, the dude is finally being called out for going after underage girls. 

He isn't the first to do this and I am sure he won't be the last. I believe there is a number of grown dudes on that platform that use their popularity to basically take advantage of younger boys and girls. I feel like these are the people that need to be drained off the platform more than anyone else. 

I don't know if the changes coming to YouTube will kill off their channels, but I am hoping it happens.

This isn't anything new. Creeps been on that platform since kids started using it on a regular basis. Same for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, and all the rest. Wherever there are kids looking to be cool, there are spineless sickos looking to take advantage of them.

Fact is, parents need to be more responsible and involved in what their children watch especially in this day and age of the internet. It's a lot different than it was when I was a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons. .....no cable, no internet, etc.

Children will never be completely safe but it's our responsibility as parents to prevent things like you describe from happening which to be quite honest is completely preventable on our end.

The problem is, some parents simply aren't as involved as they should be in regard to what their children do on the internet, watch on YT, cable programming, social media, etc.

Angry Cops has some choice words about Onision, though for different reasons. 

I don't really follow Youtube happenings or scandals, but the whole 'Child Predators' thing doesn't surprise me. There are pieces of sh*t everywhere that prey on children. it's just a part of the internet, no matter how much we wish it wasn't.

That dude has been scum since day one. How he still has custody of his child baffles me. His ex wife is changing into a man and he screams and has mental breakdowns all the time. This can't be a good environment for the child.

That video was perfect. Had no idea he was in the military and dropped out. How the hell did he even get accepted? He is clearly a crazy person.

Parents don't want to be parents. There are cases where kids will get into trouble even under a watchful eye but a lot of this online pedo stuff just comes down to parents letting the internet raise their kids. I feel the same way about the whole COPPA thing and YouTube being sued over it. Kids shouldn't be freely using sites like YouTube without parental supervision.

I know someone who is a real life Onision clone, I swear. The dude is mental. He cheats on all his girlfriends, one of his exes became a lesbian, the other is transitioning into a man.... He is like a petty control freak who makes everyone in his life miserable. The only thing I hope to god he don't have in common with him is the pedo stuff. That is dark and disturbing.
