bonding horses online?

Still waiting for confirmation, but supposedly there will be different types of horses and each will have their specialty.  So you might be building bonds with several different horses pending on what you need them for.  Online or in campaign, still up in the air.  So yeah, I see players just griefing and shooting horses.

I would think there wouldn't be permanent death for horses in Online. For just this reason.

Yeah I agree. My guess online you could build your bonding but you don't lose that if it dies, so you can constantly build it up to a full bond. Dunno.

Like a car in GTA. Somebody blows it up, they pay for it. They'll pay the vet bill. Anyone know how much horse insurance is?

I wonder if insurance even existed then. I'm gonna google it.

EDIT: Yeah goes back to the 1600s.

The horses would just respawn like your cars did in GTA V, no?

Like once you buy or bond with the horse, you will have it for good. Maybe have a stable of them.

I would assume so.  Hopefully the bond between you and your horse would remain the same, kinda like in GTAV when you upgrade your car...the upgrades are still there when you get your replacement from Mors Mutual.

Based on what was the said in the first gameplay video, where there will be horses for different purposes, possibly heavy carrying (carriages and stagecoaches) and horses for speed. I feel like we will be able to purchase horses online and we will be able to choose the horses that have been purchased in our camp. I doubt we will be able to have a bond with horses online because of other players griefing you. Unless the relationship doesn't get affected if other players kill it?

I'll call Geico.

You know damn well that greedy fn gecko is going to make you sign a 57 page document and take 30% out of pocket charges just to give you your damn horse back.

Actually, thinking about this... I mean this is like they are "cloning" the horses so it will cost far more than a car to be released. LOL

I am not sure how I feel about the bonding being online. It isn't like we did anything special in the last one or even in GTA for your cars.

I can see them maybe allowing you to build bonds with horses in the main story and being able to use those horses online. According to the relationship with them, you will get different stats.

Yeah to me this is most likely, with no permadeath online.

Imagine if they stuck to their guns and made it where if your horse runs off a cliff, gets killed by a bear, hit by a train, or drowns then it is gone for good. I would honestly never let my horse out the stable. Given that you have to bond with them now, I would not be willing to risk it. Very unlikely this is the case though.
