Just do what I have to do when I've finished urinating — fold it and bend it as many times as you can until you can manage to fit it back in.

Chastity belt, huh?

Yeah, so many parents make the mistake of waiting too long to buy a new model after their lads outgrow the kid's size. See if your mom and dad will let you drill a pee hole, so you don't have to do so much folding. Pro tip: make sure they take it off first.

Nothing beats good food and a weird conversation. This may be my favorite thread on the entire forum now. GG boys.

I just had some Domino's pizza. Was okay. Feels like they went downhill since I last had some a few years ago.

Posted

@Cokeyskunk I only have the Screamin Sicilian pizzas now (and want to save them).

I'm just looking for some ideas. I want to start actually cooking more often.

I'm thinking about trying to make some ribs, but I can't grill at my place and I'm not sure how they would turn out in the oven.

Other than that, I'm out of ideas...

Do you have a slow cooker?

Oh that probably would be good...

I don't currently, but you just gave me a reason to get one. I was thinking about it a few weeks ago but couldn't think of anything I would really use it for.

Edit: I might be able to borrow one though...

Edit 2: @Jackthestripper I meant to ask if you would share your pizza recipe, but managed to forget.

That chicken looks good too!

Yes I'll post her to the return address you're going to put on that box of nice looking food you said you'd send me

I hear that Soyent Green is both succulent and delicious.

That was @BropolloCreed79, but I'm sure he could forward her over.

I have a great recipe for slow cooker ribs, if you want it. (and if you can wrangle getting one) It does take about 10 hours, though. So it's better to prepare the night before and keep the inner pot lidded and refrigerated overnight, then put the pot/lid back in the next morning, turn it to Low, then head to work. It'll be done by they time you get home.

I have a similar thing with a video I saw many years ago. After that moment it remains unwatched to this day.

Thanks for that. Now we won't, either. 😝

Well you didn't have to watch it... Just be glad I didn't link the full video.

Though, I do have to apologize for ruining the food thread...

Turns out my mom has TWO slow cookers (but not for long). PLUS (as if I needed more incentive):

Nice. Just cut them up, put 'em in the slow cooker, cover with Liquid Smoke (just enough to coat - don't go bananas), then cover with the rib rub of your choice and barbecue sauce. Let it go on Low for 6-10 hours.

Voila. Best you can do without a pit. Enjoy.

There's no such thing.

I just had a Cincinnati 3-way in my office,

One of my brothers went to the University of Cincinnati for his undergrad; I think we may have different definitions of "a Cincinnati 3-way", but I AM confident they both involve chili (or what passes for "chili" in "The Nasty Natti").

More like "liquid gold".  That stuff is amazing--perfect when we make pulled pork sandos in a slow cooker.  Curious?  Here's what you need:

1 Bottle of Liquid Smoke

1 12oz can of root beer

1 Pork Loin (really any kind of pork will do, I just prefer that particular cut)

1 bottle of barbecue sauce

place the pork loin in the slow cooker.  Add in the root beer and liquid smoke.  Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours.  Remove the pork and shred with a fork.  In a separate bowl, add one cup of the "juice" from the slow cooker to one cup of bbq sauce and mix.  Then mix in the meat.  Toss it on a bun and chow down.

For variety, try different sodas.  It turns out Dr. Pepper is AMAZING with the right BBQ sauce to compliment it.

If we're thinking of the same video, the word "BOOYAH!" is involved, but unlike you, I show everyone that video.  It's a great conversation starter at parties.

It's the ultimate in laziness, which is why I'm so fond of it.  Just drop everything in the pot, turn it on, and go to work.  Come home to a house that smells amazing with dinner ready to dish up on the spot.  You really can't beat it, especially in the cooler months/seasons.  I have a slab of corned beef that I'm tossing in there tomorrow over a bed of potatoes, carrots, and beef broth (cabbage goes on the top).

I just opened it to check the sauce levels and I swear I had a mini orgasm... My apartment smells like MEAT, but that smells incredible.

Edit: sauce levels are good in case you were curious.

This is how I make pulled pork, except I don't use the liquid smoke - I smoke the pork in the pit for 3-4 hours. But the root beer makes it fantastic. It's yum.

@Truth - if you want a little crunch to them, set your oven to BROIL, let it get hot, then put your ribs (on a baking sheet) in there for five minutes.

You can either pour the barbecue sauce back on before or after. Each yields a different result. Maybe do one rack before and one after and see which you like best.

Would love to see a photo of the final product, t'wert thou so inclined.

Speaking of slow cooker meals.  Has anyone here tried Beer Brats in a slow cooker?

No, I've not. But then again, I just enjoy them too damned much after blanching them in near-boiling beer and onions, then grilling them to a golden brown.

Add some creole or brown mustard, along with some sauteed onions & peppers in a bun, with sauerkraut and red cabbage on the side -- OMG, what a meal!!!
