Is there a food thread?

If there isn't, then now there is. I am very hungry. Been busy helping a friend move all dang day and hardly ate. I am about to see if I can find a place that is open and get some good old fashion diabetes encouragement. I think the taco bell is open till 2AM by me. 🤨

Talk about food here. What you are eating, what you ate, what you like, what you hate... I feel like a mediocre rapper.

@Cokeyskunk this looks like a good place to share your labor day glory

I'm so glad I gave in last night and got some real barbecue... Ribs, brisket, and some chicken and it was all so f*cking good... I actually got a little sad when it was all gone. Really shouldn't have spent the money, but it was worth it.

My labor day was kind of lacking this year. Usually, the family gets together and we do a big cookout with ribs, chicken, burgers, and hotdogs but with some people being sick, others having moved out of state, and the weather sucking (it was raining half the day) there was only like 15 of us and we just did burgers and hotdogs. Want some ribs man.

Had some frozen pizza for dinner earlier. I can't remember the brand it was, never heard of it and grabbed it cause it was on sale. I regret not getting more cause they sold out of them now. It tasted like it was made from scratch like the pizzas my grandfather made me as a kid.

My go to frozen pizza has always been Mama Cozzi from aldi. I definitely advise that you give them a try if there's an aldi near you. Not sure where else you can get them, that's the only store I've ever found them at.

I like those. My favorite of all time (and my guilty pleasure) are those damn Totino's Party Pizzas. I sprinkle them with Italian seasoning and fennel seed, bake them up, and it's an instant 10-minute walk through paradise.

In fact, I like little more than when I get to stay home from work and Mrs. Skunk and the Skunklings all are out of the house for the day. I stock up on those pizzas, make THREE of them throughout the day, then binge-watch The Office, MacGyver, and Westerns on Netflix all day.

I love my family. But on those days, I'm kinda sad when they come home.  😏

Those are WAAAAYYYY too small for me. Not bad, but more of a snack than anything (certainly wouldn't feed a party).

I'm a disgusting pig who misses the days of the old Bigfoot pizzas from Pizza Hut.  Yes, I would eat a whole one in one sitting.

This is what you want.  DiGiorno may have one of the best sauces, but for overall taste, I love me some "Screamin' Sicilian".

My family was never big on pizza hut. We went there once for dinner and they had the worst service ever. We literally had to ask them for the check like 5 times before we said f*ck it and walked out. Never had one close enough to order from either.

I'm way too cheap for that, but I do plan on trying it eventually. Digiorno can go to the "overrated things" thread. It's alright, but certainly not the best.

Looks good, but like @Truth, I'm a cheap SOB. But I may have to try one once. What store sells them?

Should be able to find it at most grocery stores.

I'd rather just get 1 Mama Cozzi rising crust pizza. Under $3 and more than enough food for 1 person. Plus it's SOOOOOO much better.

I'll have to try them. I have an Aldi's pretty close to me. I know the pizza I had was Chicago something. I never heard of the brand before. It was normally like $8 on sale for $3 something. It was one of them ones that was "all natural" so it was basic ingredients. It didn't look special but damn was it good.

I had some Chipotle for lunch earlier. Was pretty good. The girl overstuffed the bowl which I am always fond of. Then I had some subway for dinner. That wasn't too great. Been a while since I ate there and the bread felt and tasted out of date or something. The veg was meh as well. The meats were fine but I think I remember why I stopped going there a while ago. The one by me don't know how to make a decent sub.

I just had that earlier myself. My experience wasn't as good. I think I am better off going in and ordering in person. I like to do it online since it is easier when they are busy but my order felt light and was messed up. I had to go back which sucked but they gave me free chips and salsa for the inconvenience.

I want to ask because I don't think I am alone here, but who here thinks ketchup is gross with eggs?

I have a friend who always eats it with his breakfast foods and it turns my stomach. I know it is something they do commonly in the UK, but it is rare to see someone liking this in the US... At least from where I am standing.

Spicy salsa on eggs is the superior breakfast condiment.

Ironically enough, I just had some eggs. I make mine scrabbled in olive oil with a bit of cheese and some onions. Add in some pepper and salt, and I am golden. I don't need nothing extra on them. I would have liked to add in some ham but alas... None in the fridge :(

I add milk to my scrambled eggs. What do you think about that
