Hey dude I watched your video and noticed you have the follow camera on. If you go to settings > Camera > Camera Follow and turn it to OFF or Minimal I made videos to show the difference. I hope this helps you or anybody else who watches it, I much prefer this setting off and to adjust the camera myself when its needed.3 points

The outcome is that, you have to catch it again, so I left the area, went to my camp with Dutch and Co and slept for a few hours and then returned to the spot where the Legendary Fish was located and bingo, it was available to catch again, which I have just, at this very moment have done, hence the delay in letting you all know. Many thanks to you all for not severely mocking me even though it's hilarious as hell and for all your suggestions which helped me immensely. Now to catch some more Legendary fishes. Thank you all once again.2 points

Literally just figured that out yesterday when I was tinkering with my UI settings to set up a photo of a corpse wall comprised of O'Driscolls. I have to say, playing the game with nothing on the screen (not even a mini map) and using the companion app instead is absolutely something everyone should experience. The immersion is frightening if for no other reason than how gorgeous the game is.2 points

Well good luck! I almost caught my second one this morning, but I got frustrated (should've been getting ready for work) and broke the line...2 points

Online has been confirmed for this month, fingers crossed they'll launch it with a patch for the pro .2 points

To the users that say we don't have a life and things like that, a lot of people including me bought a ps4 pro just for this game and spending 400€/$ is a little fortune especially for the ones that don't have a steady income because they are still going to school etcetera. So in all honesty I think we have the right to speak about our frustration without that people telling us to just buy a Xbox one x or to chill down.2 points

I suppose I phrased it harshly because this game means a lot to me. And I'm honestly disappointed that they half assed it. I say half assed because it perfectly describes the game. They were phenomenal half way, and left the other half basically unfinished. The game had so much wasted potential it's depressing. The characters and acting were incredible, but we barely got to interact with them. Even Dutch! One of my favorite missions in the game was a fishing mission with Dutch and Hosea. Imagine getting intimate and unique scenes like that with all the gang members whenever you wanted just by approaching one of them and asking them to come to town with you. We could have taken any of our outlaw family hunting, drinking, watching shows, robbing... It would have strengthened our connection to these characters tenfold. The fact that R* never even considered that is embarrassing. They gave us an amazing world and robbed us of any real connection to it.2 points

Although I might have phrased it less harshly, I tend to agree with most of your points - many elements of the game were over-hyped and left under delivered, the economy and shopping quickly becomes almost redundant, and some of the rpg mechanics, like weight control, seem poorly implemented. But still, it's an amazing game which I have great fun playing, and it will give me many more hours yet. I have high hopes for online, too2 points

Dirty and oily pomade hair with a beard and handlebar stache. Didn't keep the look, though. I cleaned up nicely when I made it to Saint Denis, bought a suit, shaved and trimmed hair.2 points

Personally, I have no interest in the exploit. It takes away from the gameplay. Funny enough, I've found that looting provides a wealth of valuable tonics, jewelry and other items I can sell to fences for a tidy sum. I actually try to seek out gang camps and ambushes because of this.2 points

If you have Gun Oil in your satchel, open your weapon wheel and highlight your desired gun, while highlighted press R3 to "maintain" and your view will focus on your gun where you can move it around, aim, change view and most importantly, clean!1 point

The first one is the Angus Bull, second is the Red Swamp Crayfish, third is the Panther, fourth is the Florida Panther, I'm not sure for the rest. EDIT: Didn't realise there are multiple missing slots per page, first implies the first one highlighted in red, second the second highlighted in red etc1 point

Yup.... You can also save outfits to your horse (up to four IIRC) so you can switch them out on the go.1 point

Here's one version on my Arthur, I keep his hair the same but change his clothes regularly. His hair is length 1-2 (depends on my mood) His facial hair is length Moustache 4, Chin/Chops 0 (or 1, whichever is minimum) Hair: Swept back - fade. I try to keep him using Pomade, but sometimes after a fist fight his hair gets all tousled lol Facial hair: Full style, Pennant1 point

that is not necessarily a bad thing. My wife will drift in and out of my gaming sessions whenever she needs a laugh, but otherwise she leaves well enough alone. I have no interest in Grey's Anatomy, and her gaming interest is just as fleeting.1 point

I'm more irritated that she was in the game to begin with ... this game is FILLED with SJW nonsense. That said, nobody seems to care that you literally killing hundreds of men in the game ... I made this same statement about the decision by DICE to put women in Battlefield V. I mean you mix teenage boys with female character customization and Youtube .. what could possibly go wrong ? One of the funniest statements I heard in reaction to DICE deciding to put women in a World War 2 game was ... "DICE is brainwashing me to be violent to women!" lol. One of these days feminists will have to decide if they are 1) as strong, capable, independent, and powerful as men ... or 2) fragile creatures that retire to the fainting couch and reach for the smelling salts every time someone says something that could offend them.1 point

Ok so I’ve been testing tonight and found out something else: if you press the trackpad to switch Points of View this happens: Over the shoulder- blurriest Over the shoulder 2 - a bit sharper Over the shoulder 3 - more sharpness First person view - sharpest view wondwr why they implemented such strange blurring based on view point!?1 point

@Kean_1 Yeah, I think we are on the same wavelength. I completed FC3, didn't quite complete FC4 (which always looked weird on my TV), and completed FC5...some nice presentation and fairly intense moments, but ultimately felt a little shallow. That game is a good example of how hold-your-hand-arcadified games can be, when you've got vision through walls, glowing enemies with tags over their heads...that is not my type of gaming. I played it as raw and minimal UI as possible, because then you have to use awareness of your peripheral vision and audio cues to work out where enemies are, as well as sneaking and doing recon as much as possible. A massive part of my enjoyment, especially with Rockstar games, is exploration. I want this to be a raw experience, where I have to discover things, missions, locations, for myself. Stumble across things and get sidetracked, let the game flow. I want to use my brain and eyes to identify enemies, not have their locations shown to me on a GPS device (minimap). I'd also really like R* to add some sort of hardcore mode, with real penalty for failure...so if you die, you pay the price (not necessarily perma-death, but some sort of "medical fee" you have to pay to be "saved"). It spoils the experience and intensity in games for me when you die and just respawn. I want penalty for failure.1 point

I wish there were a way to not show that belt buckle. Once I got the perk, I wanted to remove it but couldn't. ....it's silly looking IMO and my eye is always drawn to it now.1 point

What's annoying, apart from the obvious odious censorship and gender based hypocrisy, is that R* and RDR2 are getting blamed for allowing such a feature - which is especially galling given they've already bent over backwards to appease the censorious (removing schools, no sex, heavy pro-feminist and anti-racist storylines, etc etc). There's simply no pleasing the hand wringing moral police!1 point

Really? I find that's there's not enough of them and they rarely pay well. The only reason I do them is because I enjoy that part of the gameplay. I really wish bounties were more, well, bountiful in the game. I currently have about $4k and am able to maintain that amount even with paying off bounties, customizing weapons, buying ammo, etc.1 point

I don't know, The one I got reeled in last night didn't take much effort... Might just be more like those tinder dates people keep telling me about. I guess you swipe a certain way and then they **** you? Not entirely sure how it works, but that fish was EASY.1 point

Agreed, I was having a hard time getting him to swap it out too and mistakenly tapped L1 and it swapped out the weapon, it seems like the hint menu tells you something about holding L1 and selecting it, that wasn't working for me, tapping L1 quickly does.1 point

D-pad down should expand the map if it isn't already, show the area, time, temp, amount of funds, etc. Not unlike GTAV if you're familiar with that UI.1 point

I really enjoy the game and it's set to be one of my all time favorites. Most of my friends agree and all of them have been spending way more hours playing it than most games in recent memory. Having said that, I have nothing against people being critical about aspects of the game they don't like. .....but It's the hyperbole and/or discourtesy some show toward others that tends to get under my skin especially against those that are simply trying to help or provide an alternative viewpoints. This forum is no different to others when it comes to such things. Although I still think this one does a better job at moderating. In the end, I know there are going to be those who don't share the same opinion of the game that I do. Nothing wrong with that IMO and I welcome the discussions. .....provided they stay civil.1 point
