So i made myself to play the game that i loved so much and have a look athe the goodies. I am really positively amazed that there are soo many new features. Im overwhelmed with them and dont actually know where to begin with them lol. I started with collector and trader first and y- day i decided to go with bounty hunter as well. Im still a bit confused with it all but getting to know more every day. Im loving it. I still play WoW classic with my friends but logging in more and more in RDR2O so i think i will come back to fulltime RDRO soon. Atm i play 2 ,3 hours a day. What i dont like so far are some bugs but it was to be expected and i hate the new reload times... its stupid, too fast. Played a couple of days and got lvl 3 ranks on collector and trader, lvl 28 on club and almost 3 ranks up !!!! So many strange things going on. BTW. there is a random event in Rhodes i believe where two guys struggle and then one shoots another in a duel of some sort. I had this 2 times now and still dont know what to do - 1st time i killed them both ..... 2nd time i w8ted and then killed the one that shot the guy - nothing happened... should i prevent the attack ?? Anyway thanks a lot Lump for giving me the push i needed !

Glad to see you came back to the game and found a renewed interest @James Hickok_1837. I'm digging the new update as well.

So, just outside of Armadillo I stumbled upon this tent that was lit up. I stopped and noticed the green mask from the general store and the pawn shop and of course from RDR 1. I never see anyone there, there is no icon for it and it hasnt been part of any missions yet that I have seen, so I dont know if it is just an easter egg or if it is a hint that it is coming. I made a quick video, you will have to pause the video to actually get a good look, I didnt realize how fast and shaky I was with the camera. Check it out, what do you think this is or means? At the beginning I stopped and took a look at the mask then I panned around to get everything else in there to see what the details were. I thought maybe this would be where you go in the game to start some Undead nightmare play, maybe not, but I didnt know what else to make of it.

I just downloaded a 2.3 GB update for RDR2 on my PS4. I dont think anything new, but this could be a bug fixing update, to the latest issues! 🙂 Good & Fast reaction by rockstar if it fixes the missing animals, bounty missions, and minor bugs 🤠

I read all the responses and I understand the need for simplistic gameplay that draws in the most players. problem is I'm not like most players. I never saw interesting being a dam car thief. I like being a cowboy. re d dead is the only online shooter game I have ever seen without radar. ( if there are others please let me know ) and I like a shoot out that makes sense. there is no radar in the 1800s period. I'm fine with getting rid of auto aim or other non realistic options. I like to hunt in a game. the kills are more satisfying. The real reason I bought red dead online was because I herd there would be poker. how cool would it be to have texas hold-em in a cowboy saloon. but that turned out to be even more disappointing. apparently R* has never ever played poker. you cant bluff because there is no "all in " option for ALL your chips. not just a lousy 5 dollars worth. everyone is gonna call 5 dollars smh. plus you cant talk to your opponents. that's half the fun. maybe you can with mics with friends. but you don't play poker with friends lol. ahhh well what can ya do. one more thing why the **** did R* even have no radar games in the beginning if they were gonna just trash it later? answer ---> to get adults money to buy there game then go back to gearing it to GTA stupid kids. BLAH!!

I have the large wagon & been making deliveries the past week. I’ve been in defensive mode & haven’t seen one raid. Played with a friend today in offensive mode. While hunting, his camp got raided by a bunch of bots. I think as long as you are in defensive mode your camp won’t be raided. Not sure if my camp is glitch or if that’s how it works.

I kinda dig this legendary bounty thing. I'm still working my way up but these new roles should give me plenty of stuff to do for a while.

I had the same issue and just figured R* had a new feature. Buy something that doesn't work or show up. I new it would be fixed sooner or later. I am surprised it was sooner myself.

I am level 19, - But i have several friends level 5 who got them 2.. I think it could be a weekly thing, or a daily thing. They should appear for you too mate.

I know you can in single player... never tried in online... but that would just be crippling yourself while everyone else enjoys the benefits of the radar....

James, I'm surprised that you havent played, I just assumed you would check it out. Well, it isnt life changing or anything, BUT many enjoyable additions to the game. They set it up to be a grind for each role, which I like, and there are special things. I am really enjoying that you can just stumble upon things in the world now that are collectible, tons of little things are making the game feel so much more alive and dynamic. After all the time you put in I figured you would be curious if nothing else, but no big deal to take a break either, it isnt going anywhere. There are some special things happening right now that may or may not continue but if you decide to check it out in a month I am sure 95% of it will still be there. There was nothing left to do except daily challenges until Tuesday and now with the club membership and the three roles, it feels very active and busy in game, like you have a lot of things to do and then even more things to go collect for yourself as rewards which just keep pouring in. I think in 2 days I have gotten over 30 gold bars, nearly $1000.00 and over 12,000 xp without grinding specifically for it, I just leveled up my new ability cards to tier 2 for example this morning, so it is flowing well and feels amazing, The clothes, outfits, weapon variants etc.. are also interesting, I like this bounty hunter outfit, but I also love these gauntlets, and horses. Anyway buddy, I hope you give it a look, I think after all the work and time you put in, you migth actually enjoy it. I am sure there are still things people wanted that arent out yet, But I really think they needed to get this one out first, later I think we will get more story missions, more story content within the free roam and tons of additional items, but for now this was a huge fix for many issues, everything is faster, more responsive, the outfits you can save to your horse and to your wardrobe has been fixed and you can name and save up to 10 I think in your wardrobe, etc.. so tons of cool fixes worth taking a look at.

I was shocked about this. If anything I was doing the dishonorable act by accepting the Player Assassination mission from The Kid. The player wasn't the posse leader, but it one of the posse of 4. Long story short, I beat the mission, got the player the mission set up towards. The leader killed me back, then I said on the mic that it was for a mission and just hoping for a "kill for kill" kind of moment. Knowing a typical posse, you would think they would just keep shooting at you. They didn't fire a single shot when I high tailed it from them. I even used my rear-view and saw them going their own way. Kudos to whatever posse that was.

if you're referring to groups/posses/ etc.. then there are different types of RP that I've noticed. there is the "Life RP" which I assume is the hardcore be in character at all times and play the game as if you were an actual citizen in the Red dead world or be a Lawmen/robber etc... Some groups like this even want you to make a new character or act as if you're current character is a different person once dead (rare). I cant speak much on that since I've never joined one there is the "Crew RP" which is essentially crew that engage in PvP wars, alliances, ranks, meetings, ceremonies, promotions etc.. there is the "chat RP" which involves you usually downloading Discord and all of your RP situations happen via the App, I'm assuming that also means you interact in game with each other but also have to type it all out in the chat if they do a combination of both, some literally only do the Discord. there is the "MILSIM RP" which is 99% military style crews that have the crew RP element as well as the Life RP element except you're to act like a soldier in the military including rank, uniform, language and what not. then there is the simple RP that people just enjoy playing their character as if it was truly them in game from speaking like them to holding values etc.. thats as much as i know; hell i might be completely wrong since i only really engage in crew RP and im horrible at acting so i can never really be in character (i play as a native) but do try to hold the values as a native would like respecting the land or animals, hunting with a bow etc... Some crews/posse's are a mix of each category but these are usually the main ones i see being advertised.
