I would love to see camps set up in hideout locations (e.g. in canyons, woods / forest, etc.). There are several spots in RDO that would be perfect and it would give it more of that flavor. Camping next to a busy road, railroad, town, etc. just doesn't convey that feeling.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean you are meant to feel like you are either above the law or the "new law" and people in this position back then would not just be sitting out in the open. They would be hidden up in the mountains or deep int he woods.

I'm always surprised at how many people I have to murder as a trader! I think its the business aspect of moonshining that makes it feel less outlaw to me. I produce a product and sell it. I gotta pay band members, a cook, I have patrons frequenting my establishment, we have overhead. all the band, patrons and everyone knows who I am. Kinda mob like. I think an outlaw would make more use of camps. hidden camps, gang hideouts and stuff, hidden identies, etc...and just straight up robbing without having to produce goods. There could still be overhead, like buying supplies, costumes and such to pull off your robbery.

Yeah, regardless of the platform, the crashes and glitches are out of control. (Xbox) It took us over an hour last night to get 4 people in a posse and deliver a wagon. Between black screens, disconnects, not being able join posse or stand down from other posses, and never ending loading screens that forced a restart. Yeah, over an hour. Then to top it all off, after we delivered the trader wagon, we went to the shack, and of course the mash had been lost.

Assuming you are on Windows, did you check for updates there? Also, try different USB slots on your PC. I had an issue with my last one where certain ones just wouldn't work right.

Like I said, I know what you are getting at... Just saying, I think I murder more people in the roles we have now than I realistically would in a semi-realistic stage coach robbery LOL... come to think of it, in the last year Or so I’ve probably murdered more people than even lived in some territories at the turn of the century.

Not sure but I was able to approve it and it now should appear. I believe there were some changes made to that process by the Admin that may have affected your post at the same time.

I get an immediate 0x20010006 error every time I try to launch online. Usually two in a row, and then I am usually able to get through. I've noticed that I am more successful getting through when choosing the Free Roam option instead of spawning at my camp. It's not always successful, but it works more often than not. The disconnects have become much more frequent for me recently. Yesterday, 2 out of 3 bounty missions disconnected me as soon as I was within about 25 meters from returning to the Sheriff with the bounty. I have even begun getting a new error code: 0x20010004; has anyone else got this? After that, I decided not to do anymore bounty missions and went collecting. I didn't get disconnected when collecting at all, and I spent a few hours doing it. I was able to complete a trade delivery without a disconnect as well (though I was on the edge of my seat expecting it). This is really unacceptable.

So while waiting for a response, I decided to start going through all my RDO graphic settings. I found something almost immediately. For informational purposes, I needed to have my textures set to at least high to get proper setting to make my toon's face look right. I thought everyone else would like to know in case they come across this thread.

I would like to see more improvement with our camps. RS have said we are stuck with these camps for a while. Which means we are living in our camps for this year and probably most of next year as well. I would like to have the ability to sleep in our tents and take a god damn bath. My character hasn't slept in nearly 14 months or had a bath lol.

I noticed this. I am not a gun enthusiast and never fired a gun but I have watched enough westerns to know this isn't how it should function.

This sub forum was meant as a welcoming area and really isn't suited to answer a lot questions about the game. Not everyone looks in here so you may have a better chance of getting more answers, suggestions, viewpoints, etc. in the Online forums for example. I would encourage you to open new threads regarding your questions there and/or ask them in existing threads relevant to your topic if you happen to see one. Open up at least one poker parlor with higher buy in and limits. $25 is chump change after level 20. Make it pay for better players and make it hurt for losing. Let the less serious players learn at lower stakes casinos.

I have been given money for inconveniences. I think it depends on who you talk to. Maybe they do it randomly, who knows. I don't think this is equivalent to throwing money at the problem though. They know the game is buggy, we know the game is buggy, and we both (players and devs) just want it to be fixed already.

The most important thing is starting off with a character that has traits that you want to end with. If I created another character with the same sliders with whatever the game gives me, the end result would not be the same. What took the most time was me having to keep backing out of the online menu and restarting until I got a character that I wanted to start adjusting sliders.

sorry man, unfortunately your choice has been made... however, I would say it's the best moneymaker when things are working right, which it is not in it's current state... hope and pray for a server with 15 players or less. Hopefully the the rockstar development team return from their month long sabbatical soon and realize their game is currently a steaming pile of horse manure

Getting the Buck Antler Trinket helps with getting perfect pelts. It gives a small chance for pelts to be upgraded by one star when the animal is skinned or picked up.

Yup. GTAO is essentially the same as are their reasons I suspect.
