  1. My guess would be a PC mod. I don't think you can even drive trains outside of certain missions, because when I jump up in the cab of one during free roam, there's no prompt to take control.

  2. I'm considering getting a camp dog, as I have the Husky available. Just wondering how much noise the dog makes in camp (barking, growling, whining, etc.). Also, do I need to take care of it the same way I do my horse? Since Cripps runs the camp, I'd expect him to take care of that. The noise is my main concern. I can see it getting old pretty quickly, much like Cripps recounting the same stories over & over. Also, if I don't like the dog, is there a way to remove it?

  3. It's an accessory, with a couple of useful qualities. Especially when he comes and finds you to warn of a raid.

  4. Thanks for the info. I don't mind dogs, but you never know if the developers went overboard & made it annoying. Using the dog for the dog petting daily is a good tip, too. Took me a while to find one the last time that one came up.

  5. Doesn’t make much more noise than a real dog...doesn’t bother me. Having a dog helps prevent attacks on your camp, the dog will come bark to you no matter where you’re at on the map and you can fast travel for free right there on the spot to get back and defend your camp, there is also a daily challenge that pops up for “Pet a dog” and when you have one at camp, it doesn’t get much easier, you don’t have to feed it or anything and yes you can get rid of it should you choose.

  6. I haven't had any issues being attacked either but I am very cautious when I do runs. I won't do them in heavily populated lobbies.

  7. I think nshanny is right, have to be dishonorable. In order to complete 100% of the Land of Opportunity you have to switch between honorable & dishonorable status. I looked online & found the mission list, you need to be dishonorable to continue on with the story missions. Once you reach dishonorable status the next mission should pop up on your map in the next 5 mins. You can just ride around & kill bot or go to a town & kill cops & other bots. This will help get you dishonorable quickly. Red Dead Online Story Missions List: 1. Honor Among Horse Thieves Mr. Horley 2. Love and Honor Mr. Horley, Sam Freeman 3. The Right Side of the Tracks Curtis Malloy 4. If the Hat Fits... Mr. Horley 5. Where Your Morals Lead You Marshal Tom Davies Honorable Mission 6. Highly Illegal and Highly Moral Marshal Tom Davies Honorable Mission 7. Kerosene, Tar, and Greed Samson Finch Dishonorable Mission 8. 9. All you can do is sell it. It's always baffled me that you can't break it down for several fillets. Big fish are just something fun to catch, not even worth the money really imo. I always just caught several other fish in the time it took to reel in one of those.

  10. Took me 3 dyna arrows to take down a poor soul's wagon on tuesday. SO they did enforce the wagon for sure.

  11. That's offensive to the undead. I demand an apology and restitution of no less that four fresh brains.

  12. For me, dating a non-smoker made it easier to quit. That might not be an option though! Another thing that helped was having something to do with my mouth. When I realised that no biro would survive contact with me I started buying packets of candy sticks to gnaw on instead. By the time I finished chewing one of those (or pretending to smoke them) I was sufficiently distracted and my habit sufficiently replicated that I'd lost interest in smoking anything.

  13. Having the buck antler trinket helps with perfect pelts in general. For squirrels and other similar sized animals, use the bow with small game arrows.

  14. Exactly. This was my thought as well. Some missions although you can join if others have their honor where it needs to be and invite you, but if your honor is high you wont be able to play the low honor missions on your own, they wont even show up in your mission list. I had been invited to a mission, I forget the name it is the one that takes you to the fort East of Valentine, well I joined from an invite but on my own the mission never came up, I later realized I had to lower my honor and that is exactly why you see the honor changing option at those stations around the map, you can also do it yourself for free like I did. I ended up going to St Denis, climbing onto a rooftop across from the stables and sniping people and police until my honor was very low, then I went into the menu and tada, there was the mission, after I completed the missions that require low honor, I went fishing and just playing the game the way I normally play it and my honor was back up in a session.

  15. No one has mentioned HBO's "Watchmen", so I'll recommend it here. Watchmen.

  17. I'm much more crude in my killing. I find a long, narrow hallway, like the back of the saloon in Valentine. When I get bored I blow the head off of Frontier Jack (or whatever that blowhard's name is), and then retreat behind the barber stand with my back against the door. As they come in, they get funneled to the hallway and I unload with my dual scholfields. I'll take a picture of the corpse wall next time--I was too caught up in the moment when it was happening last night at 3AM

  18. OH DEAR LORD! Wasn't working with repeater either, even when standing practically ontop of a pronghorn. So I had a brainstorm and just figured it out ... You can't be scoped. FFS
