  1. Go make a sandwich and grab a cold drink till the stuff wore off.
  2. To me a camper is someone "camps" a known spawn point where they know they can get cheap kills. To me them and griefers need to be dealt with in all online games. I for one don't play games for the sake of having others come in disrupt my game for their amusement. Been having lots of debates with people about the whole PvEvP open world environments. Seeing how games online seem to be leading this way kind of ruins the game. I hated GTA5, where during my missions, other players could fly over in their jets just start dive bombing you until you fail. The Division has a PvEvP arena where players that are built for PvP are stalking and killing PvE players that have zero chance to fight back. I understand that these games sell well, but the putting players in a situation where they are defenseless against griefers and then turn around and say it is just part of the game. Makes me not wanting to buy the games.
  3. It's really funny cause my son keeps trying to show me and I keep getting distracted by something else.
  4. Trying to stay patient, I was shocked yesterday to get home and see that RDR2 was in my que doing the whole prep for the pre-order. Turned out my wife and son decided that they would surprise me for my birthday in Oct. Figuring they couldn't surprise me, they figured they would try to sneak it in when I wasn't looking. So now I got till Oct to pretend I didn't see it and act surprised when they decide to reveal.
  5. I try to explore as much as I can before I do anything. Just in case, "it" hits the fan I want to know my escape routes ahead of time.
  6. Some players could play forever and never get better. They need to build for their target audience and if they have more then one target audience then they need to provide for that.
  7. So you did play RDR. I played against the same kids. Worst Case ..... They make it like GT5 Online, where the have all the silly OP gear, just so you can ruin others fun. Best Case ..... They make it like the Original. Where you can choose between PvP or PvE, so you can play the way you want.
  8. I told a friend about this thread and what I had said. He stated in any Rockstar game, he is always the bad guy, so that is how he plays them. With Arthur he figures will be the same mis-understood bad guy, will be like all of the others cause that is the Rockstar way. He did add that he played Trevor different, he said that Trevor was bi-polar so he tried to live upto that. hahaha
  9. Forgive me if I over think this, I have a tendency to think deeper the question sometimes. In life being a good or a bad person really depends on one's perspective, for example Robin Hood, according to the tales he was a good guy. Robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. Now one version I have read. Truthfully, him and his merry men were bad guys. They broke the law, they stole from the rich and they had no qualms of killing to get what they wanted. Now some would say they did that to protect the people and that they gave all their loot to the people. Some believe that they actually shared their bounty for 2 reasons. 1st, to buy peoples' silence. You give a starving person food and eventually the will follow you like a puppy begging for scraps. 2nd, they had to be constantly on the move. Too much bounty is hard to move, so they only kept what they could carry. Now GTA 5, Michael and Franklin, I treated as they two people that just made bad choices. I never took a life when playing them that I didn't have to. Now Trevor, I really didn't like playing and yes I treated him like he was psycho all the time. Normally being a white hat kind of guy if I can be I imagine I will play him the same way I did Michael and Franklin, but Rockstar has a tendency to put characters in bad situations.
  10. There was cases that some outlaws of the old west became lawmen. Maybe Arthur will get approached to be lawman some where, seeing how the map is bigger. That's not the way Rockstar does these games, but it would be a change of pace.
  11. Could end with Arthur starting with what Marston finished. Have Arthur lead Ross and Fordham to the hill above Beechers Hope, showing them where Marston is, only to have Ross and Fordham shoot him down in cold blood. At that point you take over as Marston with the Ross and Fordham riding up to you on your property.
  12. Dutch didn't hunt Marston down, it was the other way around. Considering where Dutch's camp was and where Marston made his home. Dutch could have gotten him pretty easy.
  13. There is nothing more badass then being a dad. Especially now days when there are so few really good ones.
  14. I am expecting it to be like GTA 5 online, they will have to have something to sell like they do the cars for that.
  15. But like cars, horses could get maimed from an accident and unable to work anymore. Drawing in predators for the kill.
  16. I would say in his 30s, it just looks like a rough life he's lived. Then again in a video game does it matter?
  17. Whiskey...........Straight Up Whiskey!
  18. You can read about Dutch in this link. http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/Dutch_van_der_Linde
  19. Though I agree RDR seemed to be aimed for an older crowd. Playing online brought some really young players and their potty mouths. Some of them kids should have had their mouths washed out with soap. Now a days it is far worse then it was then. I got to say, they did zombies the right way compared to some games. To me it felt fun compared to most games. I enjoyed the sidequests with the sasquatch and my favorite and the one I didn't expect was gathering the flowers for the old man, only to go into the cabin and see the corpse. I had to replay the game to show that to my wife and son.
  20. During this day and age, I know several men that claim children as their own, because the dad's are deadbeats.
  21. If I remember correctly, she was lived/died after John and Abigail left the gang. I believe she was John and Abigails, but Abigail had been passed round by the gang that they ran with, so the daughter could have been anybody's.
  22. Been a while since I played RDR, but didn't Dutch and the boys leave John on death bed. I don't remember him being a coward.
  23. With my nephew, it was always Madden. With his kids, it's WWE. In fact last Christmas, soon as we arrived the two of them talked my son into playing the wrestling game. They kept ganging up on him. Finally, my son handing his controller to me and said "Dad, just show him how it's done." They got a culture shock when I whooped both of them. Since then I became the Cool Uncle that plays video games. Then my nephew told them all the games they got for Christmas was approved by me, cause my nephew always looked for my seal of approval when it came to getting games.
  24. That is cool that you and your father in law have that bond.
  25. Wasn't they there for the 1st RDR? Correction, a friend looked it up online and the article he saw, 2009 was the lasts time Rockstar was at an E3 and that was about the game Agent.
