Considering how often my horses got killed in RDR. Then I will either walk every where or never have a very good horse that responds.

My family was butchers by trade and deer season, meant we ate lots and lots of venison. Chilli made with ground venison was always popular during the winter months. Most I know have, had never tried it, but when they do. Making it with hamburger never seems the same.

Do you make deer chili?

Can any of you tell where or give a link. A friend said he saw video, supposedly released by Rockstar. It supposedly showed all of the activities and according to my friend it almost sounds like you spend most of your time gathering supplies for the gang and that this will be way different then RDR. Almost sounded like it was going to be a survival version of the Sims. I like the amount of loot gathering in the 1st game, but not sure I want to spend all my time gathering supplies and do the occasional mission here or there.

How keen are you on extended customization?
YodaMan 3D replied to Anc1entC0re's topic in Red Dead Online
I do not question the artistic visions, I personally don't blame entertainment for all that is wrong with the world. I believe that mental health is a major issue. Now a few years back and I wish I could remember more about the discussion, but a friend had read a article, that was about a study of how people play video games that give you a right and wrong scenarios, gives you incite on their personal psyche and gives even more incite on how they will react to real life decisions. This was in the lines of his major in college and he wasn't quite buying it, saying that the study was way to small scale to ever prove anything. Since we have both played online games together on and off, it brings up that old debate. Most say they aren't like that in real life, but their actions and their words in the heat of game play far often makes people wonder. -
For the gun I just went to the Amusement Park and unloaded, when the cops became overwhelming. I would just jump of the side of the pier and swim under till they left. The ax my son, who lives for YouTube, knew where everything to do and where to go. So I flew through that.

Are you sure you want to buy the sequel? I do have doubts about Online, mostly because of how they did GTA Online? Yet I am excited to see what they have done and look forward to playing for hours and hours.

Not always with the lag and latency. I have actually hit pulse, looked around, see no one anywhere, focus on NPCs, within seconds, get blasted from behind, get sent to the checkpoint, and then get then old "by the way someone in your vicinity is going Rogue". My internet isn't that bad. TD has issues. Now GTA:O, I have seen similar issues where players are bored and all they do go and find players that can't fight them back.

In the original, I played both online and campaign a lot. I can't tell you how many times I played through the campaign, but I was to the point I knew where I needed to go before it was on the map.

It isn't just the gaming industry, there are many players who thrive on the aspect to bully or grief others. GTAO, The Division. In PvP it isn't about competing as much as just picking on others.

Anytime in a society where people have a lack of self control and even less ties to taking responsibility for their actions. I can see given players that connection where they can live out some sick fantasy where they can run around kill without any rhyme or reason. Some can't control their own actions and have trouble separating real life verses a game. -

I like it was in the 1st RDR, where you had PvP servers and PvE servers. If you are into free for all, then play PvP mode. If you prefer co-op or solo, then play the PvE mode. You do the exact same thing on both, but you don't have the toxicity on both. Individual loot drops, so you don't get a player doing all the work and some idiot run in just to grab the loot.

What TV or Movie Character would represent you in RDR2?
YodaMan 3D replied to YodaMan 3D's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
To be honest, I will probably end up as one of the 3 Amigos -
My son keeps asking how I am going to play RDR2. I responded with, well generally I play the good guy no matter what game I play. He then tells me that isn't what he meant. Seeing how I make him watch westerns with me, which character would I be most like when playing RDR2, when making choices. To this I wasn't quite sure how to answer, cause well I have watched lots of Westerns in my life. I eventually said I would probably be like Wyatt Earp. I know right from wrong and will stand up for what I believe in, and I have no problem standing up for my family and friends. He smiled and looked at me and said that was exactly what he thought the last time we watched Tombstone. So which TV or Movie character is your role model for the old west?

I did both the revolver and the hatchet in about 2 hours.

Mixed Feelings about gameplay video drops before launch.
YodaMan 3D replied to Fribbo's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I have been waiting for almost a decade for this game, well since the 1st one released and I completed it. RDR is the most time I ever spent on a game and I can't tell you how many times I have played and re-played and re-played..................... Simple fact is I will probably play this one the same. -
Well, look at how much a heist cost in GTAO vs items you can buy. How many jobs does it take before you can buy the latest and the greatest?

Speaking of Birthdays, if FB doesn't remind me, then it didn't happen you wasn't born. Then again I can tell you just about anything about RDR, Star Wars, or Star Trek. Go figure. -
Oh, you mean like job interview. No thanks, but like Kean said, you can join the club section and send invites from there.

RDR2 will have a more realistic economy
YodaMan 3D replied to BelleStarr's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
We should remember, we won't see that cash. Otherwise, we will be able to afford everything else in the game. -
How can Arthur be a better enforcer than Charles
YodaMan 3D replied to Bie's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
You know some have natural leadership, while others don't want to lead at all. Arthur has been around since the creation of dirty, he is seasoned. He may not have to kill anyone, while he can convince Charles to do it for him. Think Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, Wyatt was good gunfighter, but he was remembered for being a better lawman, where he didn't have to always fight. Sometimes his tongue settled things quicker. Meanwhile, Doc had a short fuse and was quick to the draw, hard to beat in a gunfight. Edit: Arthur maybe one of the few people that Charles respects and listens too. The calm word of reason that may not exist in Charles world normally. -
No thanks! I will make do without the train. If they want that much for a train, I would hate to think how much they would want for a horse. And @ $4 a bank robbery, I would die more then I would ever make.

In GTA:O, players could just put a bounty on you. You didn't have to participate in that either. Doesn't mean while exploring I should have to PvP online. To me if you want PvP, then create PvP. I personally am not a fan on griefing online, just because others are bored doesn't mean that they need to disturb someone else's game. You want to search for treasure and make it a online mission competition type thing, then go for it. I just don't want to be part of the, "Hey look a player over their doing his own thing and here we are bored. Why don't we just go over and grief him till we can make him rage quit."
