Hi Endor and welcome. I'd wager that most here are typically well over 18 and there are even more of us around the half century mark or beyond than most realize.

The confusion is what Mr Smith refers to as your "journal", he actually means your "catalogue". .....where you can order things (not your journal where you have your notes, etc.). So yeah, it's the catalogue I mentioned early on in this discussion and a couple times thereafter.

I think the animal spawns and camp issues are going to be something that would (could) be addressed on their end without the need to feed a hotfix or patch to us. Problem is that they rarely mention fixes like this and folks simply notice changes. I'm not sure I've ever seen patch notes for fixes they take care of on their end either now that I think of it. Either way, the Twitter comments for this update included literally hundreds of likes for the many comments about addressing animal spawns. I would suggest folks like some of those comments too or perhaps add one of their own. R* does see this stuff and maybe they'll finally say something about it and/or get the fix in place sooner rather than later:

No problem. I get notifications from Twitter feeds I subscribe to and just post up news when I see it from R* about RDO / RDR2.

Make sure to check the Online forum too as updates and discussions that are posted there that can also apply to PC. The PC forum was created for PC-specific topics like hardware, technical issues, etc.

Yeah, I've wanted to kill Shakey mid-sentence on more than one occasion while being briefed. ......spit it out already!! 😁 On a serious note, I don't have a problem with dishonorable missions but I don't care for player / posse assassinations. I won't accept them. Being hunted is fine although that hasn't happened to me in a very long time and I have always escaped and/or successfully fended off my attackers. ....but I don't like going after other players and it's really not worth the hassle most times. I did accept one once by accident and saw the posse was in a town nearby. I decide to go for it. They had no idea the event started (probably didn't know what the prompt meant) as they were simply standing in the street messing with NPCs. I galloped in, obliterated the two players and rode out without missing a step. I felt bad afterward but I'd be lying if I also didn't find it pretty funny.

I know. I go around killing a bunch of NPCs and not only does my honor level barely change (if at all), but I get a bounty less than $10. I also have an uncontrollable urge to backhand other NPC riders just for fun / practice. To be honest, that's why I always took complaints about the bounty system being too harsh in online with a grain of salt. You really have to go around killing real players to get that thing up there. ......and in those cases, they deserve the red dot / bounty IMO.

We are talking about a game that used the tag line "outlaws for life". There are a lot of things we are asked to do in the campaign and in RDO that are ethically questionable or are considered just downright wrong in civilized society. .....that's what the game is about. Even in the beginning missions / cutscenes that get you sorted in RDO you're an outlaw. ...but yeah, as others said you have your choice of missions, etc. if you want to go that route. Personally, I think folks are missing out on a good chunk of the game if they limit themselves entirely to only honorable tasks but then again, that's the players choice after the introductio into RDO.

Well, we've only got about a year to judge that by but RDO's schedule has been busier than GTAO with content drops which makes sense given that GTAO has been around > 7 years compared to RDO (just over 1 year). Personally, I would again expect to see more from RDO this year than the much more established GTAO. Check the sticky thread in this forum. They should all be listed there. As for seasons, the updates had been coming out when they said. ......just not as soon in the particular seasons as some had hoped but they were on schedule. Also depends on whether you are going by the astronomical or meteorological calendar in that regard.

Story mode may be a little different. It's been so long that I hi honestly don't remember. In RDO (online) it works by seeing clerk at a post office and using action shown. On PS4 it's L2 IIRC and then it let's you cycle through everything that you have bought via the catalogue, awarded, etc.

I would love to see camps set up in hideout locations (e.g. in canyons, woods / forest, etc.). There are several spots in RDO that would be perfect and it would give it more of that flavor. Camping next to a busy road, railroad, town, etc. just doesn't convey that feeling.

Possibly a restriction of those events?

Not sure but I was able to approve it and it now should appear. I believe there were some changes made to that process by the Admin that may have affected your post at the same time.

Just realized this was in the RDR2 forum. Not sure if the OP intended that or was talking about updates for RDO given there are rarely additions to the campaign. I think I think this is more about online. OP, let me know if that wasn't your intention.

For those interested, I submitted a trouble ticket with R* Support last Thursday (1/9). Here was the content of that: I'm awaiting a response but it seems since the last time I sent in a ticket, the posted response time if now <96 hrs vs. the <48 hrs it was previously. Back then (pre-PC release), I usually had a response from a real person usually the same day. .....so I expect (hope) to hear something next week by Tues or Wed. I'll post their reply when I do.
