I was about to start a stranger mission a few weeks again when this transparent person came walking round the corner. We were there a good 10 minutes trading punches but for say every 4 or 5 he landed I would hit him once. I got bored in the end and run off battered and bruised. I've seen quite a few of these people about just thought it was strange. Never realised it was a mod.

When this happens to me I walk away a few feet and go back and try again. Usually it gives me a new mission. Hope this helps.

I do tend to try wave to people to show I'm friendly. I would even help people out like they did me but like you say you never know what there gonna do

Started online. Whistled my horse... Bang I'm headshoted and dead. Don't think I was on 30 seconds. Thought ere we go. So started again and went and done a stranger mission. I had to kill a wolf and take its body as proof of kill. I eventually found it. It killed me a couple of times. My shooting was off probably because I been playing gow4 all weekend and my brain was still wired to that. A out half way through and person came up and killed the wolf. I was just stood there thinking what now, when they waved and rode off. It was like a cartoon super hero moment. They turned up done the kill and was gone. I didn't even get there gt to say thank you. Took it back got the xp and money. Then off I went to find another. Went to a little shack to hamish next to a pond. There was loads of fish in there so I decided to chill and do some fishing on the end of the di*k thing. After about 5 minutes I heard footsteps but didn't think nothing of it until I saw another fishing line go out in the water. I looked round and there's some random stood finishing next to me. After a few more minutes I get a message. We spent the next 15 minutes fishing and sending messages back and forth about the football (soccer) team we both follow. Once I got my 10 perch I went to see hamish and do the mission. It was rescue a hostage. So off I trotted. Got the hostage. But the random followed me and helped kill the bandits on the way back to return the hostage. I'm really surprised after all the problems I get with griefers that I found 2 nice players in one game. Even made a new friend aswel lol. Just thought it made a change after the usual being killed by random. Sorry for such a long probably boring post but wanted to share.

I thought I'd give it a try tonight, so hit posse up as I started. As soon as I sqawned in there was 3 members all walking about next to a lake or river by anneburg or something. Anyway. While waiting I started fishing and after about 5 seconds one member quit. Next thing everyone is gunned down by the person that quit seconds earlier. After that I just quit the posse. Last time I'll bother. Especially after I've read on here that it is common aswel.

A couple of weeks ago I was riding away from lagras not galloping but not trotting either. I came up to like a set of trees or something. This lad runs out right in front of me. Not at me. it was like he was chasing something or being chased. Anyway I knocked him down but didn't kill him. I turned around to emote wave as if to say sorry. But pressed right trigger by mistake. Pulled out my bow and arrow and killed him. I felt awful.

I like both I play fifa for a laugh nothing serious and mainly play career as my team. Aston villa. Cod well I could say I love cod but then the love stopped at ghosts. I only played the single player campaigns after that. Once they bought in wall running and boost packs I never touched the multilayer till ww2 and thoroughly enjoyed that and the campaign. I got World at war again for Christmas as I noticed I never finished it on veteran. But to do that now I need to get off red dead.

Mines xbox. I used to be PlayStation, upto ps2 when cod 4 came out on ps3 and xbox 360.i was gonna get ps3 but a mate was on xbox so got that. I did buy a ps3 eventually but as stupid as it sounds I didn't like the way the controller sat in my hands so stayed with xbox. I now have 3 xbox ones set up in different rooms lol. I only got 1 actual friend on xbox. The one who originally persuaded me to get it. Everyone else has got PlayStation.

Cold I suppose its easier to warm up. Some of the temperatures you guys have been saying it is where you is scary. It was minus 4 here in the uk last week and to us that' was cold. Where I work indoors it was minus 7 and to be honest we all done nothing but complain we were freezing. So I take my hat off to you guys in this difficult weather situation your in.

On paper it sounds interesting and if it works the way they say could be good. I'll wait to see what they say next week and then see how it works out.

I thanks guys 👍. Yeah I checked the shelves but there's only polamade to slick your hair back. So paid a visit to the barbers and brought me a nice big beard and got a new hair style while while I was there 😉.

I know exactly where your coming from. If I'm in a town and do see someone coming towards me I'll emote at wave as a friendly gesture, but they still shoot. I've also been sniped a few times while fishing. All this griefing is the only thing that spoils this game online for me. I don't go around killing anyone. I'm alone wolf who just wants to grind. I'm was heading towards Blackwater earlier and it came up about another posse has started a mission etc. She rode past me on the wagon. I just carried on trotting along in my own little bubble. She stopped turned round and shot me. I just thought wtf. It's just pointless at times.

I wish I could lol. If they get me again I quit and restart. Yes they win but I get peace for 10 minutes.

I got the one but rarely use it. Someone at work said its the best cause of low recoil. I mainly use bolt action rifle or schofield pistol. But I don't do pvp events or really shoot people unless they kill me me first.

Bloody hell, I've only come across 3 and 1 of them disappeared as I got close to it There an easy source of xp and a bit of cash. I always kill the leader so lose a bit of morel though.

Just got to lvl 18 (I'm a baby lol). It's my go to game so am grinding slowly. I got other games I need to start but can't get off this. Been playing probably since about the 2nd week of January. Only play on weekends mainly stranger missions.

Ive had this a few times. At the weekend I visited Hector. The mission didn't start so thought sod it I'll go do a bit of fishing. Next thing the mission started... 10 minutes later lol.

Howdy all I'm in the North East of the UK. I came on looking for tips mainly. My wife got me the game for Christmas on xbox. Wasn't sure if I wanted it. Open world games are not my thing. I couldn't wait for battlefield v. Problem is I put rdr2 in to give a try and haven't stopped lol. I've got other games from Christmas to even load up but just can't stop playing this. I'm only lvl 18 but grinding stranger missions as I can't wait to start legendary fishing at lvl Apart from being killed constantly by griefers I'm loving this game.

Yeah definitely. I'm new to the game and only have a couple of friends who play it, but none online. I think I ride round with a neon sign on my hat cause I'm constantly being killed for no reason. I just do stranger missions keeping myself to myself. I do get posse invites but only joined one. The leader said so what you want and everyone left.
