I honestly don't know how he has as many followers or supporters as he does. He can be entertaining but to the extent people give him credit for? Nah.

What percentage of players will play online?
VampireKrush replied to redscrew's topic in Red Dead Online
I would say 80%+ Most gamers these days are avid online gamers, not just solo offline ones. The shift I think happened 10 years ago. I know more people who will play games based on them being online (be it multiplayer or co-op). -
I was thinking about this too. A bit off topic so I will leave it with a prediction... She gets Arthur killed. As for the date.... Very close to Halloween. I wonder what made them choose October instead of September. Any major releases coming out in the fall?

Red Dead Redemption 2’s Delays Don’t Bother Investors
VampireKrush replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
People who invest in something, as mentioned, get FAR more information than the general public. Them not being bothered is a good sign for us though. This means the game is looking fantastic. -
It depends on what they want to do really. Like you, I would not mind them putting a few that directly deal with the last game. I am almost certain they will do that actually given that this is a prequel of sorts.
-
Yeah this would be overkill and would quickly get annoying. If it is done the right way, I am all for it but if they do a bad job at incorporating heists of any sort.. It would likely hinder me playing much online.

Who was your favorite character in RDR?
VampireKrush replied to TheBaconator's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
John hands down. I mean there were a lot of great characters but I never connected with one in any game quite like I did with Marston. -

I know this is cliche to say, but really... What is another 4 months on top of what we originally hoped for? It isn't that much. Time goes pretty fast in the summer too so I am not all too concerned over it. Yeah, it sucks we have to wait but it isn't like it got pushed back another year. -
I think snak3s is onto the right idea there. People are just wanting to talk about the game and everything that could be said has been said, likely twice or more. It is such a dry spot we are in.

When you guys think we will see an open Beta going?
VampireKrush replied to SNAK3S's topic in Red Dead Online
Just mentioned this in another thread. I am not sure when it will come out. Is it their fashion to have one for every game or do they normally just have their insiders do the testing on the beta version? -

Once the release date is announced, everyone will be all over that and the reveal of the characters and what not. A lot of news will come out once the beta drops as well. Could be why we are yet to hear much if that isn't launched yet. -
LOL oh it is that wonderful time of the year, where all the dank memes of a Christmas past come out to rear their ugly, horny, questionable heads! Screw it. I am game. Here are some good ones:

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gets GTA Online Cross Promo
VampireKrush replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Even if it is just a premarketing scheme to remind people of RDR2, it is a good idea. It keeps their last game going for the end of the year and hypes up RDR2 for old fans and new ones. -

Yeah no biggie. People do that all the time for new games and then never bother to keep up with it once they realize it isn't being released on time. -
I would like to get more focused on my future. I feel like I am getting to that age where people are going to start asking why I am not married, have kids, own a house, ect. So yeah generally cracking down on myself in 2018.

Doing a little bit of math here... Marston was born in 1873. I am guessing the game will take place in 1896 which is 15 years before the first one. I am going to base this on Dutch not being much younger in terms of looks. This would place John right at 23 as well. That is a good age to get involved in this gang. He is young enough to have wit but dumb enough to be conned. So I can see it being 15 years prior to the last game - 1896.

I don't see it happening man. Reasons mentioned above are obvious. Not to mentioned 1911 cars were only becoming something people began to see which is awhile after this year.

Red Dead Redemption 2 General Chat
VampireKrush replied to Lonestar's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
That was last edited over a year ago. I don't think they kept up with any of it. Best to just ignore anything it says. This was before we knew Arthur was in the game as well as Dutch. -
Old enough to kick ass and take names. Really, I don't know. He is aged but he isn't old. It will be interesting to see how his age is compared to John's. He was 38 when RDR starts out.

Going to hold you to that. I am going to put money (imaginary lol) on you buying something useless like a cowboy outfit for your character. -

What things don't you want in Red Dead Redemption 2?
VampireKrush replied to Marco Polo's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
For the love of all things gaming, I hope this is fixed. I do not want to see the same old hand to hand BS in this game. They can be a lot more creative with it. In GTA V, it looked like a pair of old dudes fighting over suppositories. -
Some games do fine with little challenges, just look at Minecraft... but for gamers who actually like to improve their game you are absolutely right.
