Is day/night cycle too quick?

Straight forward question.  I think it is slightly too quick.  Easy tweak for R*, or will they not touch it?

I haven't been paying attention to the conversion but it does seem to happen quick.

What is the rate? I know GTA5 was 2 real time seconds = 1 in game minute. Is it the same? I'm sure I could look it up but figured I'd throw it out there.

When you got things to do there never seems to be enough time during daylight.

Just as long as an adjustment meant the night wouldn't be extended as well, I would be all for it.

I was thinking the night cycle goes by pretty quick.

I think it should be extended also. But it wouldn't make any sense to only apply that to the day. Like the poster above me, I think the night cycle goes by too quick also. Night time is fun! Best time to rob people. And going up to random campfires will always lead you to something interesting

The cycle should be eased back a bit, imo.  There's nothing worse than being on a mission or side quest and losing daylight when you actually want it to spot threats.

By the same token, it sucks when you're using the cover of darkness and you lose it as the sun comes up as quickly as it does.

Missions aside, I just sleep. Only takes 20 secs to camp and sleep and it's early morning again.

I Watched it go from 9:00 o'clock at night to 8:00 o'clock in the morning over the course of 7 black jack hands. Definitely changing way to quickly

Seriously though....  FC5 was a mess IMO.  Talk about a game not delivering on expectations for me.  They butchered that franchise after FC2.  .....ok, ok, I'll calm down now.

It's nice to see I"m not the only one who gets sucked in by the gambling.  I spent two in-game days playing poker in Valentine after unlocking it.

The transition is fast, yes.

I don't mind it but I think they needed it to be faster given that some of the missions are put on a "time of day" cycle and you are only able to do them according to what time it is. If they slowed it down, maybe they worried it would take people too long and end up pissing people off. lol
