I tried searching for that "hell wheels" or something like that, but it's not available for me.... Watched some parts of that "Ballads of Buster Scruggs" so many famous people there, yet so little screen time xD... the prospector story was amazingly near my RDR2 experience ahahahahahahaha

Spoiler

That's funny because in the show, he does something to cauterize the wound very similar to something that happened to me like an hour before I watched it.

They talk of the buffalo soldiers and the settlements look eerily just like the south part of the map where that guy lives with his son. Also- another similarity! Only 7 episodes. But long ones.

"Hell on Wheels". Great show, watched it on Netflix, finished it a couple weeks ago.  It's still on Netflix right now.  Watched Buster Scruggs, kinda weird but not bad.  And yes, Godless was also really good.  Been watching Texas Rising lately, Bill Paxton, Crispin Glover, Ray Liotta, Brendan Fraiser, and many more.  Really good, follows the Texas revolt following the events of the Alamo.  Pre-American Civil War so not entirely in the same category as what we consider Westerns, but also really good.

If anyone is curious about it here is the trailer:

My buddy has been going on and on about it. He is a bigger Red Dead fan than I so you can understand why. Loves everything old west.

You really can't go wrong with an all lady gang in the wild west, seriously, that's a good thing!!!!

And I honestly can't tell what's a show or what's a game anymore! lol

Let me help you with that. A show is the thing you just sit and watch without any interaction. A game is the thing you do with a controller in your hand. Hope this clears it up for you.

Jumped on Netflix tonight just to watch this series, the wife says there are other shows she might want to see but we're going to keep the free month starting out so we can watch this series. First 2 down, so far so good!

I just finished the first 2 episodes as well.  I like it a lot.  We need more of this on TV, that's for sure.

What about the first 2 hours of the RDR2 story? I didn't need my controller for most of that lol

This is the first time i've heard of Godless, so last night during dinner i sat down to watch it.  Food is my thing, not much comes between me and my dinner.  But after turning on Godless and trying to watch the first episode, for the first time in 40+ years, i fell asleep during dinner.  that show is way to slow for me, and i love westerns, maybe i'll try and watch it again Saturday morning, see if it puts me into a midmorning nap lol.
