Online Camp Keeps Moving on its Own

Has anyone else run into these issues while playing RDR2?

        I have formed a persistent possey and anytime i set up a camp for my group, if i quit the game and come back, it says "Cripps has packed up and moved your camp." If i do a story mission, same thing happens. Then ill pay the fee to move the camp to say scarlett meadows, and then it ll put it way down by Tumbleweed. Just frustrating that camp keeps moving frequently and without me wanting it to constantly. Especially since i get disconnected alot and then camp constantly keeps moving. I would appreciate it if others are having similar issues or if this is some kinda bug?? Even if im in my camp when i log off, then when i log on my camp will be gone and moved to a different location.

Same here... Yesterday I logged on and not only did they start me a million miles away from my camp, it took me almost 10 minutes to get to it,  and when I was about 30 seconds away from arriving, Cripps decided to move my Camp halfway across the map.  Why can't we just spawn straight to our camp or at least have the option to?

I agree, this is extremely aggravating.  I'm just hoping it's a beta bug and not a "feature" for live.

Yeah it does it to me too. I am hoping this is a feature they change. It is kind of annoying. Maybe they do it for protection? I really don't know but I don't like it.

I think Cripps is psychotic.  All he does is sit there playing the same tunes all day on that Harmonica.  Just waiting for me to leave so he can hide the camp in a new spot.

He moved it 4 times in the span of about 20 minutes the other day on me.  The last time, I marked the new location and road out to it.  But by the time I got there he had moved again (I must have missed the notice) and there was someone else's camp in the spot.  So, two states away...

My favorite is "Hey, boss is hunting in New Austin?" Five seconds later. *Cripps has moved your camp to The Grizzlies*.

All I imagine is my character dropping to their knees, looking up at the sky and screaming, "KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!" .. Or Cripps...

I understand when it moves sites within the county or whatever you chose, cant have everyone's camp in the same spot, but when theres more than enough areas that it doesn't need to move states. Like moving it but keeping it in the Heartlands where I set it. Also hoping this is a bug

Same. I would hate to see this actually be a damn feature. I wouldn't care if it moved a little but to move halfway across the map pisses me off. It is really annoying.

Defiantly worth pretty positive that’s just a part of the game and suppose to do that but I agree it shouldn’t move once I’m online. I halfway understand it being in a different location everytime I log on but once I’m on it shouldn’t move.. it did the same thing to me.. I spawned in tumbleweed cuz where I was when I got off and my camp was nearby when I got off so when I got on my camp was way up past annesburg so I rode all the way there like a dumbass instead of fast traveling and I was literally in annesburg like almost there and then bam “cripps has packed up your camp” and it wasn’t down by blackwater.. I was pissed. Another problem that really pisses me off is that I’ve paid to have my camp set up in new Austin and he put the camp in heartlands.. I was like uhhh wtf I just paid for that and didn’t even get what I wanted...

Someone should smack Cripps in the face.  The guy just trolls me with his camp moves!

I read it online somewhere, that pending on where you (aka the leader) and how often you return to camp.  That it will pick up to be more accessible for you.  Yes pain in the backside, but I could almost understand it.

Hmmmm .... I wish I knew how that worked.  It might be useful.  But at the moment it feels almost random luck as to whether I even see my camp in a game session or not.

I just paid my $2 to move my camp to lemone and literally 5 seconds later it was on the other side of the map

The developers stated that they shall resolve the issue within the next few updates.
