N7Creed
I really wish we could make the facial hair shorter. I adored the #2 length 'tash I gave my Marston. But the full grown version of that same one looks hideous on my RDO guy. Same with two of the beards. Why is it 'all or nothing' in RDO when RDR2 had such a cool hair growth system? I used to love going to the barber after a week long hunting trip to cut Arthur's hair and get him shaved back to sexy cowboy stubble. And cleaning him up for the date with Mary really set the scene. So why can we only be clean shaven or have giant scraggly face growths? (or one stubble option.) Where is the variety in that? Also, several male NPCs have the super-long loose hair that goes down their back; eg Lee from the Montez story mission. Why can't we have that as an option? I'd be tempted to have a second character and make him a native american, long hair, appropriate clothes and weapons, and a cute paint horse to ride. While we are on the subject, what about a long ponytail? Or any other styles? They have a bunch of 'ugly' hair, including a balding comb-over I challenge anyone to want to use in-game. I know they want 'period appropriate' but it's still a game we play for fun, and I want to look good doing it. Come on R*. FightingKYian
I agree, I like my character to have tight hair & neat mustache, but as of now he looks so shaggy. Hopefully when this supposed update that let's you redo your character comes out it'll have some new hair choices as well.
McLawDiz
There is a lot of potential about the hair part, and also seeing as the NPC´s have different types of the ones we can choose. i had hopes, that they would have done the hair thing, the same way as in Story mode. It was cool! , and more realistic!
DNMNetTech
Have hair grow dynamically over time would be a nice integration to online. They have it in story.
Moosh89
THIIIIIS!! The female ponytails are hideous. No straight hair ponytails, just curly hair and they both have a giant hair-part right down the middle of the head. For Singleplayer, my Arthur has the swept back style with fading on the sides and set to the shortest or next length (depending how often I take him to the barber). I can't see them adding hair growth to Online especially since they do charge Gold bars for some hair styles, it would be frustrating to constantly spend RDO$ or Gold to maintain a certain look. But there's absolutely no reason why they can't add the length adjustments to choose from.
N7Creed
I've sent a suggestion to R* about adding a length selector to the hair and beard styles. Maybe if more people ask for it they may inpliment it.
The_Liquor
I’ll do the same... I tried to model my character after a drunk trailer park supervisor from a kind of dumb TV show I liked to watch for a laugh... almost there if i could only give him a haircut.
Archbell
Even if hair growth in Red Dead Online isn't possible Rockstar could at least give us the ability to layer facial hairstyles on top of eachother, sideburns with a goatee, a moustache with stubble etc.
N7Creed
Also an excellent idea. @Archbell Let's keep our fingers crossed for more options soon. And keep sending them suggestion tickets.
Kean_1
I don't see why they don't make hair growth a thing in RDO. It would encourage some folks to spend more time in the game to get that hair style/beard they want and to spend money at the barber especially those looking to keep neat and clean. As it is now, I think I've only been to the barber twice so far.
N7Creed
And it would only grow while you were online and playing, presumably. Also I don't think a cut would be as expensive as changing style.

I just bought the traveling opulence camp theme since it is currently on sale and there is a little mirror on one of the barrels.
Madrigalian
We should be able to pick differing hair styles with differing costumes. Hair down and slightly mussed under the hat for riding free roam. Up in a bun and styled just so, for an evening of Poker in the saloon. Hair styles should be a costume lock(able) option. There are several costume sets that I would wear more, but for them to work right I would need to go to the barber and change my hairstyle every time I wore that particular hat or dress, etc.

Since most of the time I don't bother with one.
McLawDiz
Rockstar MUST Have a reason why all those upgrades are avalible at the camp. I dont think the intention is to just reset your cores and such.. I wish, and most definatly HOPE they add alot of functions to the camp, exactly like it is in "Single player Story" mode.. So much cool stuff going on, and yes! We should have that realistic hair growth system included! - AND more.. To that camp! I hope they really get alot of feedback for the camp improvements... Right now the changing color of the flag, and adjustments of the decor, for extreme high prices, kinda lame!
N7Creed
Submit all these in tickets, if we don't, who guarantees anyone else will? I sent a ticket about my hair/beard length desires already.
