DLC dripping?

Not sure if this was mentioned on here or not but do you guys think we will have DLC in a drip fashion instead of in large lots? Like instead of giving us something new every 3 months, we will get something new every month, possible every few weeks? I know microtransactions were mentioned so this makes me think they will give us DLC more frequently in smaller doses.

I think they will do it more often than they did in GTA V but not as often as every 2 weeks. Maybe every 2 months? I think it depends on what they offer out the gate and how active people are on what they offer. Maybe smaller things like gun upgrades and clothing will be done more often by not DLC mini game packs or anything like that.

Not sure how they will do it so long as it is good and reasonably priced, I am not too bothered by it.

Same for me. I just want a solid online end for this game. I don't mind if we get DLC monthly or every 3 months so long as it is worth it and doesn't give people advantages over others who choose not to buy anything.

I would prefer them to give us more at once, specially if it will be done in microtransactions. I don't want things to come out a little at a time, what if there is nothing I want?

Yeah same for me. I like to have options if they are going to do smaller transactions. Like selling things for $1 to $10 rather than a $20 DLC bonus pack.

I feel ya. So long as the main story is a solid one, I really couldn't care if the online end tanked or not. I'm not buying it for that anyways.

I think this is the case for most of us here. The online end of RDR had some cool stuff but it was hardly a selling point for any people buying the game. I think people coming over from GTA V may buy it solely for the online end.

I really don't know what they have planned. I don't want to have one of those games that is releasing new crap so often we get nearly daily updates. That would be annoying. I also don't want to wait for something I want for an extended period of time. Whatever they decide, I am sure it will be balanced.

Not sure why people are talking about chargeable DLC. GTAO has proved a solid business model in free DLC and chargeable shark cards - they won't change this approach.

How do you think they will prevent people from marketing on it though? I heard that was a huge issue with GTA Online. I didn't play all that much to know. I kind of lost interest when I found out about that hack to get tons of money lol

You referring to people selling the in-game money for real money? The way they used the cards kind of cut those people off. I am sure they will stick with it.

No what i was talking about is the way that R$ make money. The model of GTA4 was to sell DLC, the model of GTA5 was to not do DLC and push shark cards for online. They have clearly (and officially) made a SHIT load more from shark cards than they ever have with DLC, so I can't see them changing this for RDR2.
