Thoughts on the internet panic over WW3?

I have been seeing a lot of memes and general fear being spread over WW3 happening.

I am not sure why this is happening either. I know if it was dealing with the US and say, China, I would be a lot more worried but even then, the media seems to be blowing things out of proportion as they always do and they would no matter what countries were involved.

What are your thoughts on all this?

Normally, I wouldn't be worried. This is the same shtick Iran been doing for decades now. They start their grandstanding and threatening as if they think the world is afraid of them, cooler heads prevail and call the bluff, then NATO and the UN gives them some small concession that's ultimately meaningless or insignificant and they back down. But "cooler head" is a foreign concept to Donald Trump. For Christ's sake, this is the same guy who said we should try having a president for life here in America.

Highly unlikely the US and China will ever go to war, though. Both economies depend vitally on each other.

I feel like this has just been a political move for Trump to get more votes. I won't pretend to fully understand politics because I honestly only know the basics (which is sadly more than some in the US lol) but still, it just seems to be a power move nothing more. I honestly don't care who wins this year because to me, we average workers get screwed either way. It is just a matter of time scale. Do you want to get screwed hard and fast or light and over years? lol

WW3, not quite. You would need an opponent that was actually a threat. Half of Iran's air Force are non-radar equipped F-14s from the 70's.

President for life was a joke. Watch the video.

Cooler heads DID prevail.

That terrorist deserved to die.  He was an international criminal, and in violation of the treaty for stepping foot outside Iran.

Glad someone said it. The dude was responsible for so much (including lives being lost) that he'd have to die another 100+ times to even equate a percentage of crap he has done to other countries and other people.

100%  you'll reap what you sow and the U.S. never forgets who saut to do us harm. Worried? Of what Iran?? There desert tactics and training mean nothing to unmanned drones.  This isn't the 50s ! We don't need boots on the ground anymore.

I think the next war is already happening and it deals with information. Think of all the fake news, hidden truths, and blatant lies by the government and the media. Epstein is a prime example of them lying to our faces and people not caring enough to do anything about it. As sick as he was, he was going to be used as a weapon against the media and against the government and they killed him.

Iran is nothing to worry about. What people should be worried about is the manipulation, corruption of power, and lies upon lies we are fed every day.

I just ignore stuff like this. People been saying since 2016 Trump was going to start WW3. They first said it would happen by the end of 2017, then by the end of 2018, then by the end of 2019... Here we are in 2020 and the closest thing he has done to starting a war is a fraction of what Bush and Obama did. It is hilarious to me how people forget how much Obama and Bush loved war and how much crap they did to other countries.

I remember my dad talking about Obama and all the stuff he did in terms of bombing areas and talking over places. I couldn't believe it at the time but it did happen. Bush, I don't know enough about. I was too young at that point and really didn't pay any attention to politics.

People forget everything quickly. If Trump doesn't win, give it 2 years and they will forget everything he's done the last 4 years.
