Yes 2 weeks tomorrow without a single patch, that is NOT normal. Something is not right, this is realy unprofessional by rockstar. If a patch isnt out by tomorrow i start to lose faith in rockstar 😢😖3 points

Had originally imagined creating a look like Snidely Whiplash, but this was as close as I could get (the outfit that looks more proper requires positive honor, and I've been a bad boy). The mustache eventually grew out to the sides much more, but got a bit unruly. Just finished the story yesterday, and never really got into the in-game photos, so all the screenshots I have are Xbox screens while I was playing... not framed properly around the character. Can't see the multi tone half chaps, same colors as the rest of my outfit. Hadn't been customizing my guns yet, so they look like crap. Now that I've finished, my pistols are gold plated with black inlay, and the rifles are black with gold inlay and yellow/black wood (forget the name of the type) with the darkest leather I could get. Currently working on several other looks3 points

Because of the money. The Citizens United v. FEC case really opened the floodgates for unbridled political contributions and spending. If you think back far enough to remember prior to that decision, the ads were nowhere near as bad as they were once that decision was made. Literally hundreds of millions of dollars are spent, and everyone wants a slice of the pie. Special interests have many reasons to pour money into candidates' campaigns: (1) supporting candidates with money grants access to that person once they're in office. If you want legislation supported or blocked, you can leverage your donations to influence the lawmaker. (2) Favorable legislation in many industries, including deregulation, can have economic ramifications of BILLIONS of dollars. Drug companies. Arms manufacturers. Special Interests (Big Oil, the NRA, Banking/Investment firms, etc) all stand to gain from favorable legislation. Another part of it is people need to feel like they belong to something. Anymore, everyone has this false sense of connection because of the ubiquity of the Internet. It's a shallow imitation of real life interaction and relationships--to the point that people willingly become indoctrinated into a political ideology for the express (if not unrealized) reason of belonging to something both greater than themselves, and real. Elections have consequences, and for folks with an unhealthy relationship with politics, that obsession fills a void. I'm personally very interested in politics from an academic perspective. For me, it's fun to watch the ways in which people of all political persuasions play games with logic and truth to fit a particular narrative or ideology. It certainly has it's downsides, as extremism and radicalization on either end of the political spectrum has created a toxic partisan atmosphere that most reasonable folks find abhorrent. I vote, but I make decisions based on individuals, or morals not party allegiance. What, you don't miss the slow-motion black and white ads that have the dude with the sinister voice talking in that distinct dialect: "BropolloCreed79 likes to eat burritos. If he eats Mexican food, how can we trust him to secure our borders?" And then the woman's voice reading like the MicroMachines guy: "ThisadpaidforbyAmericansForBorderSecurityandisinnowayendorsedbyanycandidate"2 points

Gold duplicate glitch, instant $15,000 everytime. Ruins the game of earning money though. You can find the glitch on google.com2 points

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that made that mistake... (I actually did encounter a fish that floated above the water for a minute though)2 points

Keep in mind that not everyone is encountering these bugs... It would take more than "one play through"... I'm assuming you've checked your horse? Not trying to say it's perfect, but it's also a MASSIVE game with tons of different interactions/options. Bugs are to be expected. When is the last time you played a game at release that was 100% perfect? I know I never have.2 points

I've just started Chapter 3, but I love exploring and discovering things. Was made aware of rdr2map.com yesterday so I won't be seeing Chapter 4 anytime soon!!2 points

Cheers dude, found her on the far east side of the map in the woodland area north of the bayou (was actually trying to find a panther to hunt) wondering if there are other 'abused' style skins for different horse breeds? Ive named her Scabby Sue2 points

Still on chapter 2 and loving this game. I've had it since day 1 and have just got caught up in the challenges and other things like the stranger missions. Anyone hung back in the early chapters or have most of you completed it and now on 2nd playthrough? Also anyone noticed they've removed the challenges progress from the app/social club? Found it convenient to use instead of pausing the game to check progress.1 point

The problem is someone will try by telling me it’s either my tv or they have a pro and it’s “fine” 😂1 point

I vote randomly because i just don't give a sh*t about who's in charge, as long as he/she doesn't **** up and cause ww3 or some other horrible sh*t. It doesn't effect me in the slightest bit.1 point

Trust me, they'll patch that out when RDR2O launches. Dupe gold glitches would crash the in-game economy quicker than I can down a pint of Guinness.1 point

@Slayer Fan First off, create an addition save (as a precaution) Try leaving the area for a bit. Try "resting". Try dying. That's all I have...1 point

Rockstar isn't going to patch this. They would have acknowledged this by now. Beating a dead horse now I think. Lesson to learn is to never pre-order nor buy a giant open world game day one. Wait at least two months and you will probably pay less and have several bugs worked out.1 point
-
Yeah no doubt man. Just voicing some of my frustration. It just kind of sucks that I can't get the "full experience" that I paid for because of some really stupid and simple things not working. I will just go take my frustrations out on some odriscolls and keep it moving1 point

There are many ways to make money.....the best way to getting a lot of money is finding gold bars.....don't want to spoil anything, but they are scattered through out the world🤑1 point

How many new accounts have been created on this forum alone to complain about a "bug" or something being "broken" when in fact it's just user error. So many people complaining about the amount of bugs in this game....how many aren't really bugs at all?1 point

I meant the cart. I stopped bothering with horses once I realized you only get like $5. Not worth the time. I haven't even bothered with the war horse. Just kept the one you start with. I almost lost him last night though...1 point

Two nights ago, I did the EXACT same thing. It was glorious. I almost wish I had Sheriff Bart with me when I crashed that party.1 point

That said, I still expect a Red Dead version of shark cards. They'll probably just limit the buy-in so it's not a real way to make money (like in story mode).1 point

I found them last night! Tossed a stick of dynamite into their meeting and watched them scatter. Only had to use 1 bullet after that!1 point

I see no new persons that make some noise on the support forum. I´m really tired now. I do that all for the community. I hope the patch give us an option to clean up the blur. Nearly 800 Million Dollars in one week. They can use 2 percent of the benefit and thanxs the gamers that buy her f....ing games to create a patch. No answer from the support since a week. reddit is not a oppinion to talk over the issues. To many a..wipes or stoopid a..holes are in that Thread.1 point

Uggh. Haven’t touched the PlayStation in days. if something isn’t acknowledged in the next week I will NEVER buy a game at launch again. This is ridiculous! i can’t read anymore R* responses!!!! They are playing dumb. They all respond as if it is the first time anyone has contacted them over it. They want you to take pictures, videos, then have you try odd settings... until you just stop messaging them. this is seriously the worst thing ever in video games. They made a LOT of money very quickly... the customers deserve a coherent response!!!! Even if it is just: “we tried everything, the game is just too cutting edge to make it work any other way on the PS4pro”. at least I could give up hope and sell the ****ing game.1 point

I have a Panasonic 4k HDR TV, and I'm playing it on a Full HD TV 10 years ago, and it looks sharper than on 4k TV, but it also has that blurry effect so horrible, it seems at times that you're playing to a game of ps3. Hopefully they solve it as soon as possible and do not forget the serious problem of motion blur and AA. However, when you take a screenshot and return to the game, or when you aim a weapon with a telescopic sight, and you stop aiming, it looks super clear and perfect, this I guess you should find an easy solution and give us a game more clear to 4k rescaled. Sorry for my English, I use the google translator !! ;)1 point

During the actual first playthrough of the game, I never punched my horse. However, once I discovered the funny events that occur after doing so, I tried it for a laugh. Very enjoyable. Sort of? Lol1 point

Welcome to the wild west @KoolChameleon What I enjoy the most about browsing the forum is meeting, talking, and discussing Red Dead Redemption 2 related subjects, and keeping conversations civil. I hope you have nothing but the best experience here at RDR2.org. Fond regards 😎1 point

Ya, I hear you. My $100, and not being able to get what I paid for ? It's like paying for steak and getting a hamburger instead. Nice ! Really R*, either refund me the difference or deliver what I paid for. In the real world, it's called fraud !1 point

I bought the game for the story and the online mode. I am usually an online gamer, but it's a Red Dead game so I needed to play the story to see what happened before John Marston's story.1 point

Ever have a bounty hunt go as stupidly as this one? In my defense, it was about 2 am, and my brain had long since began to drift... I picked up a bounty mission in Valentine. Just had to go near Wallace Station, capture a woman outlaw, and return her alive to the Valentine jail. I had a $300 bounty on my own head in West Elizabeth (thanks a lot, Micah!), but it shouldn't be a problem, as I only had to step across the county line briefly. My first few attempts were all foiled by bounty hunters coming after me just as I was approaching my target. That would start a mission lock-down, and my target would disappear. I ran a couple of times, and stayed to fight (and die) twice. There were just too many of them. I decided to pay off the bounty and come back later. Went on to other stuff, and made enough money to pay off the bounty after a bit. I happened to be in Saint Denis when I decided to try again, so I took the train to Wallace Station instead of riding since it was so far away. Made it there only to discover that my horse did not follow. I tried camping and sleeping in hopes it would spawn nearby, but no luck. And for some reason, there is no stable within miles of this area. So I just went in on foot. I figured maybe she had a horse I could steal. She did not. I hog-tied her and started carrying her back to Valentine on foot. Let me tell you, it is a long, long trek! But maybe I would find a horse along the way. Hmm... where is everybody? I've been carrying this lady for MILES, and there's nobody around. I got about two-thirds of the way there, and finally someone comes by on a horse. Of course I shot him in the head to take his steed, but as soon as I do, I get the message: MISSION FAILED. YOU RECEIVED A BOUNTY. (Or something like that). Respawned, still without my horse, back near Wallace Station again. It was now about 3 am, but I was stubborn and stupid. Hog-tied her again, and ran her all the way back to Valentine on foot. Got a whole $25 for my effort, so I guess it was worth it, right? Arthur called it a night, and softly cried himself to sleep.1 point
