  2. I don't see an issue with that but that's not to say it wouldn't be subject to review/scrutiny depending on the individual situation. Intent plays a big part in that. The main point of the rule is to address those that would use this site as a means for self promotion. .....including trying to sneak around those rules. I think Creed put it best with his post.

  3. When this was posted, the video that usually plays at the bottom of the page was made into a pop up on the right side of the screen (on desktop). It was fixed later in the day. I believe that's what he was referring to. You're always very prompt with fixing things, keep up the good work!

  4. I still don't understand why you can't just have one lobby for 'anything goes' and another lobby where you cannot kill another player or their horse or cause any griefing but you can fight AI cowboys or gangs, or fish and hunt, do missions together or just mess around, either on your own or with like minded players.. Surely that's the answer?

  5. The Red Dead Redemption 2 story mode features a selection of challenges which reward players with money, experience for the Health, Stamina and Dead Eye cores, and reinforced equipment items which grant permanent bonuses to one of the three main stats once the full set has been acquired. These challenges are divided into different categories - Bandit, Explorer, Gambler, Herbalist, Horseman, Master Hunter, Sharpshooter, Survivalist, and Weapons Expert. While clearing these challenges is in no way required to complete the game and watch any of the endings, there are a few incentives for clearing them, not counting the money, experience and item rewards. As Red Dead Redemption 2 features a lot of different mechanics, attempting to complete any of these challenges will make you more knowledgeable about them and, in turn, make the game way more enjoyable. If you're a completionist, however, you must complete all challenges, as doing so is one of the requirements for obtaining 100% Completion, which is, in turn, required to obtain the Platinum Trophy and 100% clear rate for the Xbox Achievements, as one trophy/achievement is unlocked after achieving full completion percentage. Living means surviving in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, so it's hardly surprising to see a Survivalist category for challenges. These will test your skills in fishing, hunting, and crafting. In this guide, we take a look at the ten Survivalist challenges and give you some useful tips to complete them with ease. Just like for the other categories, the Survivalist challenges must be completed in the order they are unlocked, so bringing five animals to Pearson or any trapper will count toward progression for the second challenge if the first hasn't been completed yet. Survivalist Challenge Overview The Survivalist challenges are among the most varied of the entire game, as they test your fishing, hunting and crafting skills, often tasking you with seemingly difficult tasks like kill scavenging animals while they are feeding a corpse, fishing from a riverboat and while standing on train tracks and more. Despite their difficulty, they're much easier to complete than some other challenges, like the Gambler challenges, as they don't depend on luck at all. Sharpen your skills, and you won't have much trouble completing them. Catch 3 Bluegill Fish The first Survivalist challenge is very simple, and you will likely complete it without even trying if you have been doing a little fishing, as you must simply catch three bluegills. Fishing becomes available once Arthur gains a fishing pole, which happens during the A Fisher of Men story mission in Chapter 2. The mission will also teach you the basics of fishing, which is affected by the timing and the different bait types. Catching bluegills doesn't require incredible fishing skills, as they are among the easiest fishes to catch. They are also extremely common, and you will find them in pretty much any body of water all over the map. Equip cheese as bait and catch the three fishes to complete the challenge. The reward for completing this challenge is the Survivalist Gun Belt. This item is part of the Survivalist equipment set which grants a permanent Dead Eye bonus once all the items in the set have been acquired. Kill 5 Animals With A Varmint Rifle The third Survivalist challenge is as simple as the previous two, as you must just kill five animals with the Varmint Rifle. This special rifle is not among the weapons you can obtain automatically during the course of the story and must be bought by any gunsmith. This weapon is not suited for combat at all, due to its terrible stats, but it's perfect for hunting, as it's the only weapon capable of getting perfect kills on varmints like rabbits, rats, raccoons and so on. Finding the five animals to kill with the Varmint Rifle is extremely simple, as rabbits can be found all over the map, quite often running around close to roads. Once you spot one, aim with the rifle and try to get a headshot to kill it with a single shot. Make sure to collect the carcass or harvest its parts to make a profit as well. The reward for completing this challenge is the Survivalist Off-Hand Holster, which grants a permanent Dead Eye bonus once the full set has been obtained. Craft A Dynamite, Fire, Improved, Poison, And Small Game Arrow The fourth Survivalist challenge will test your knowledge of crafting, as you must craft a dynamite, fire, improved, poison, and small game arrow to complete it. These items are not available for crafting automatically, as you need to obtain the related crafting recipes first. They can be purchased by any fences after completing the Spines of America story mission in Chapter 2, which is the mission where fences are permanently unlocked all over the map. Once you have obtained the recipes, you must get the items needed to craft all these arrows. The dynamite arrow requires one arrow, one dynamite, and one flight feather; the fire arrow requires one arrow, one animal fat and one flight feather; the improved arrow requires one arrow and one flight feather; the poison arrow one arrow, one oleander sage, which is found mostly in the swamps near Saint Denis, and one flight feather; the small game arrow requires one arrow, one flight feather, and one shotgun shell. Try crafting at least eight small game arrows, as you will need them for a later challenge. The reward for completing this challenge is $10. You will also get additional Stamina EXP. Catch a Fish in the Bayou From a Riverboat and While Standing On Train Tracks This Survivalist challenge is going to test your fishing skills, as you must catch a fish while standing on a riverboat and while standing on a train track in the Bayou. This area is found in Lemoyne, in the southeastern side of the map. A few story missions will also bring you to the area, so you should be familiar with it if you have reached Chapter 4. While completing this challenge is quite straightforward, at least on paper, there are some additional difficulties. The Bayou Nwa area is filled with alligators, so you must take great care in avoiding them, as they are incredibly resilient and it will take quite a few shots to kill them: if they start coming after you, we suggest you run fast since they can kill Arthur with a single blow. Riverboats are pretty common in the area, but they are most easy to find near the south shore of Lagras lake. Just hop onto one, head south into the river and get fishing. Any fish will do, so you can equip some of the most common baits, like cheese and bread, to catch fishes like the Bluegills. The train tracks are also very easy to spot by looking at the map. They are located to the north of Lagras lake, and there's a specific spot to the northeast of the lake where they are conveniently placed near a river. Get on the track, whip out the fishing rod and catch any fish. Just make sure no train is approaching, as it won't stop for any reckless fisherman, Arthur included. The reward for completing this challenge is $10. You will also get additional Stamina XP. Kill a Scavenging Animal While It's Feeding a Corpse a Total of 5 Times Things are getting slightly more complicated for the sixth Survivalist challenge, as you must kill a scavenging animal while it's feeding a corpse a total of five times. The corpse can be of either another animal or a human. While the challenge sounds complicated, there are a few ways to speed up completion. While well away from any settlement, town or city, you can kill any innocent passerby and you can either wait for any animal to come to feed the corpse or place a predator or potent predator bait to make them appear faster. Once the predator has taken the first bite, you can kill it. In case you don't want to kill any human NPC and avoid the risk of getting your bounty raised, you can kill any animal and use the predator bait to attract predators to the area. In case no animal is on hand, you can use a herbivore bait to make one appear. The reward for completing this challenge is $15. You will also get Stamina experience for your trouble. Kill 8 Small Game Animals With Consecutive Shots Of Small Game Arrows This challenge is rather simple if you have followed our earlier suggestion, as you must kill eight small game animals with consecutive shots of small game arrows. Small game arrows can only be crafted by accessing any campfire with a regular arrow, one flight feather, obtained by killing birds, and one shotgun shell. As you may end up missing a shot, we suggest crafting more than eight to avoid having to make camp again and gather the required items. The challenge tasks players with killing eight small game animals, so you must look for rabbits, opossums, rats, squirrels and other very small animals. Among them, rabbits are the most common, as they are easily found running around even when traveling on the roads. If you're looking for good hunting spots, however, you can head over to Bolger Blade to the south of Rhodes or to the fields to the east of Braithwaite Manor. Since shots must be consecutive, we suggest you go for headshots with the help of Dead Eye. Taking any tonic that fortifies the bar, like the Snake Oil tonics, is also going to be helpful, as it will prevent the bar from draining for short amounts of time. The reward for completing this challenge is the Survivalist Bandolier, part of the Survivalist equipment set which grants a permanent Dead Eye bonus once all items in the set. have been obtained. Craft a Homing Tomahawk, Improved Tomahawk, Volatile Fire Bottle, and Volatile Dynamite The eight Survivalist challenge will put your crafting knowledge and skills to the test again, as you must craft a homing tomahawk, improved tomahawk, volatile dynamite, and volatile fire bottle. None of these items can be crafted from the get-go, so you will need to get your hands on their related crafting recipes first. While all of them can be found for free in different locations, they are also available for purchase by fences, who are unlocked right after completing the Spines of America mission early in Chapter 2. To craft a homing tomahawk, you need one tomahawk and one owl feather; for the improved tomahawk, you need one tomahawk and one eagle feather; for the volatile fire bottle, you need one moonshine and one animal fat; for the volatile dynamite, you need one dynamite, which is sold by fences, one animal fat, and a high-velocity cartridge, which can be either crafted or purchased by gunsmiths. The reward for completing this challenge is $15. You will also earn additional Stamina XP. Catch a Fish That Weighs at Least 19 lbs The final two Survivalist challenges are related to fishing. The ninth requires you to catch a fish that weighs at least 19lb. Since regular fishes hardly reach this weight, the faster way to complete this challenge is by catching any of the fourteen Legendary Fishes. These fishes, which require the Special Lake, River and Swamp lures, all purchasable by the bait shop in Lagras, are extremely strong and will put your fishing skills to the test. A couple of them are located in the New Austin region, which can only be accessed after completing the game, so focus on those that can be found in the other regions. In case you have caught all of the Legendary Fishes before unlocking this Survivalist challenge, your best chance of finding a big enough fish is to fish near the lighthouse located at the south end of the Van Horn Trading Post in the eastern part of the map. Equip the Special River lure and hope to catch a big enough fish. The reward for completing this challenge is $20. You'll also get some Stamina XP. Catch One of Each Type of Fish in the World The tenth and final Survivalist challenge is among the most time-consuming to complete, as you must catch at least one of each type of fish in the world, including all Legendary Fishes. As some of them can only be found in the New Austin area, this challenge can only be cleared once the story mode has been completed. There's no way to speed up the completion process, so be armed with patience, get as much bait as you can, including the Special Lake, River, and Swamp lures, and get to fishing. The reward for completing the tenth and final challenge is the Survivalist Holster, which grants a permanent Dead Eye bonus once the full set has been completed. You can find the locations of all of the regular Red Dead Redemption 2 fishes and the lures needed to catch them below. Bluegill The Bluegill is the most common fish in all of Red Dead Redemption 2, and it can be found easily in all lakes and rivers. Cheese is the best bait to catch it. Bullhead Catfish The Bullhead Catfish is found only in swamps, so the best fishing spots are the swamps surrounding the city if Saint Denis in the southeastern portion of the map. This fish's spawn rate increases when it's raining. Cheese and Corn are the best baits to catch it. Chain Pickerel The Chain Pickerel is quite common, as it can be easily found in all lakes, rivers, and swamps, but only in the morning hours while the weather is good. The Lake Lure is the best bait to catch it. Lake Sturgeon As its name implies, the Lake Sturgeon can be easily found in the southern lakes and swamps. It tends to appear more when the weather is cloudy. The Lake Lure is the best bait to catch it. Largemouth Bass The Largemouth Bass is found in any body of water located in the southern parts of the map, including the New Austin region. Rain makes it appear more often. The Crayfish is the best bait to catch it. Perch The Perch is very common in rivers and lakes, but only in the morning, with good weather. Bread is perfect to catch it. Redfin Pickerel The Redfin Pickerel is located in rivers found to the south of the map, but the weather also needs to be sunny, otherwise, it will not appear. Bread is the best bait to catch it. Rock Bass The Rock Bass is easily found in rivers and lakes, but only in the morning and with sunny weather. Bread is the best bait to catch it. Smallmouth Bass This bass is the exact opposite of the Rock Bass, as it appears more often when it's raining and only in rivers located in the northern part of the map. Any natural bait is good to catch it. Sockeye Salmon Like the Smallmouth Bass, the Sockeye Salmon is found in the rivers to the north of the map, but only when the weather is cloudy. The River Lure is the bait to use to catch it. Steelhead Trout The Steelhead Trout is the final type of fish in Red Dead Redemption 2. It can be found in all lakes in the south of the map, like Flat Iron Lake, but only when it's raining. Worms are the best bait to catch it. 6. I’ve almost got all of the satchels, next on my list is a perfect panther pelt. So I go to the T-junction near Catfish Jackson’s and get pounced on as soon as I get off my horse. I lay down bait in the evening and wait. A one star cat turns up, so I leave it. Return the next night and the same happens. Next time, I creep into the woods and keep my ears and eyes open. Pounce. Dead. Pounce. Dead. I’m really struggling with bagging this one.

  7. As I am so bad at this game, but I love the game, I've decided not to try and beat people in gunfights anymore...Now I'm going to strap dynamite around my waist and just run at them.

  8. Panthers are really quite simple. What i do: Take the road to the area, just south east of the fallen down church the road splits. camp there till night. that will put you just south of the road into the forest. Don't bother with bait USE COVER SCENT it's a must unless you like feeding the panthers, equip a rifle SAVE YOUR GAME!! crouch walk around the camp, usually they spawn to the east and south east, sometimes you can hear them growl from your camp. I wear headphones so i can hear them growl easier Once you hear them growl, stop, activate eagle eye, search around you for the cat. If it's not a 3 star cat, load the save above and try again.

  9. I'm not saying that option shouldn't be available. They attack you, you attack them. I just saying that isn't "anything can happen", if that is the only thing that is going to happen. I just believe if a PvP player wants to PvP, his choice of targets shouldn't always be "the Easiest Target". In a PvEvP, it isn't just suppose to be a PvP only. Otherwise, it would be called PvP. A player should be able to target whoever they want upto the point. Your fun shouldn't have to limit mine. Not in a world where we are suppose to co-exist. So the players your are defending, are out to ruin the game. You support that choice.

  10. You are right, it isn't GTAO, It is made by the same people, using the same model. Why would you think they would do things different? Maybe, they will be different. Maybe they will have a better solution. We don't know the plan. I have played games where PvP players got a special mission or mode and PvE players got excluded. PvP argued that it wouldn't work, PvE players gave examples how it would. The game company did nothing. They create separate lobbies, according to their track record, they would treat them different and punish the PvE players.

  12. I had a situation last night where we had just cleared out a gang camp. As we were finishing up, two players rode in. I got on my horse and took a flanking position in case they tried something. To my surprise, completely ignoring us, they started to try and loot the bodies. I immediately thought.....the nerve of these guys. A couple things..... Riding up on me that fast (off the road) I would say justifies being shot 9 times out of 10. Trying to loot bodies in a gang hideout that they had no part of in my opinion is really asking for it. Both actions break neighborly etiquette in my book and if I were alone or with some of my other friends and we hadn't already looted all the bodies, I / we would have killed them both. I guess luckily for them the players I were with were quite a bit more passive in this respect so we simply left them to dig through what was essentially nothing.

  13. You're missing his whole point. He's not the one trying to force a "one size fits all" solution, R* is already doing that with Free Roam. There is no other alternative for PvE / co-op players right now and (more importantly) there is no guarantee that there will be in the form of private session alternatives. ....if they ever happen. As much as I hope and suspect there will be, there is simply no way to know for sure that invite-only options will materialize. They are already doing it now. .....at least for the meantime. Here's the key folks...... If private sessions do become a thing, it will depend entirely on how they are implemented before anyone can say they solve anything. The problem I see is if they use the GTAVO model where most of the businesses and related missions were locked behind public sessions. If you want participate in any of these continuing CEO/VP story missions / businesses, you have to be in a public session. Invite-only sessions are a kind of "band-aid" in the sense that they allow some level of separation from randoms but players in those private sessions will never be able to experience the whole game without subjecting themselves to public servers. R* forces this on to players if they want to participate in these activities which make up a good portion of what's fun about the game. As it stands, no one knows for sure what we will see in RDO's future. Given that fact, I can't blame anyone for complaining about griefers in Free Roam nor do I blame them for suggestion more balance in this mode. ....this one mode we have. Just the fact that R* has acknowledged the problem and is looking at ways to "improve gameplay balance" as a result (their words, not mine) tells me that they are still interested in trying to make this PvPvE experience work for all players to enjoy. .....and to be honest, that's all that really matters to me because in the end, convincing someone else it is, is really a moot point.

  15. K, That's a real nice area around there. I've caught lots of salmon from that lake. Yea.....It's tough to craft women if you dont have the right materials. I have seen lots of beaver around the lake. Have you tried there?

  17. Go to the sheriff and surrender, when they turn hostile target them and press Y i think it is and don't move. they'll arrest you, you'll pay %80 of the bounty, or whatever money you have will be taken. then you'll be clear. Even with a bounty you can go into town. If the dotted border circle on the map is red stay away from lawmen and don't do any other crimes, but you can still go play poker and get a room/bath and whatnot.

  18. same. I'm finding that i'm not really up for a 2nd play through. I just started chapter 6 and have everything completed except challenges and such that require access to New Austin (Legendary fish/animals, bones, etc). I'll get the 100% and call it good, maybe go back in a while and play it again but not right away. 3-5 hours a night almost every night since release and now i'm finding it hard to return to, to finish the game.

  20. Agreed, along with a few other day 1 bugs that still haven't been adressed. For a beta there sure are little efforts shown to improve on basic persistent bugs since day 1. I have achieved my gold buckle for 1000 lvl1 horse bonds by now

  21. I am not great at this game either, granted I haven't played much due to the server kicking me constantly and not having anyone to roll with. I also fear going into any town with a bunch of people waiting around the towns. I have a couple friends I met on here that I play with from the UK who are really awesome to play with, but I have a hard time keeping up being a level 8 and not having a lot of fire power at this point. I go on for about 3-4 hours a week...waiting for the beta to finish before I really dive into it. Anxious for the update R* mentioned to fix the griefing.

  22. Considering the fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is as popular as it is, it's surprising there aren't many more cosplays floating about. The setting and character design make it less difficult a subject than, say, Warcraft or Destiny with its armor design. And yet, when compared to other games less popular, Red Dead Redemption 2 cosplays are just hard to come by. That makes this fantastic Sadie Adler cosplay all the more appreciatable. Skunk, a cosplayer and part of the Skunk & Weasel duo, recently created a costume based on Sadie Adler. Sadie is one of the more prominent characters in Red Dead Redemption 2, and a central member of the Van Der Linde gang - even though she joins up at the beginning of the game. Sadie Adler. @Eosandy @RockstarGames #cosplay #sadieadler #RedDeadRedemption2 #RedDeadRedemption pic.twitter.com/F5AGYZrRAS — SKUNK the misthios (@MissSkunk) December 3, 2018 We'll avoid spoilers, but players who have finished the game know how much of an impact she has on the story. This makes it logical for her to be among the first high-profile cosplays to appear, though we're surprised Arthur Morgan or Dutch Van Der Linde himself weren't done sooner. The cosplay, complete with her iconic scarf, cowboy hat and even her typical hairdo certainly do the character justice. Speaking of Dutch, the other member of this cosplaying pair - Weasel - is working on a cosplay of the gang leader. Skunk got ready with her Sadie getup earlier, which is why we got some sneak-peek shots, but the team-up will be the real deal. Some Sadie Again? Yes ? This Lady is love. really. like Kassandra or Aloy. #RockstarGames @RockstarGames #cosplay #sadieadler #reddeadredemption photo taken by @FatalFranPhoto @frostshattered thanks! pic.twitter.com/a2NEPoBnr8 — SKUNK the misthios (@MissSkunk) January 9, 2019 If this outfit is anything to go by, Dutch will be impeccable as well, and we can't wait for the two to appear together on images. Hopefully such a quality outing will kickstart some more Red Dead Redemption 2 cosplays. After all, the game is filled to the brim with characters worth cosplaying, be they friends and allies or enemies of Arthur and the player. 23. I'm rank 77. I started a week after launch. I was going pretty slow until I got into my ever expanding posse (some 25 people that we can choose from or fill up a session with on a good day). The posse has made it extremely fast in getting those ranks. If one of us gets messed with the whole gang and then some will hunt you down. Even our solo members will come help.

  24. The game generated $725m in it's first three days of sales. Toss in another $200m in holiday sales (conservatively) and they're closing in on $1b in revenue. Even at the most garish assumptions of the total production and advertising costs, this game is already in the black. R* is flush with cash between this and the continued success of GTAO, so please, you're only fooling yourself if you don't think that kind of liquidity creates a competitive advantage when it comes to resource allocation. 95% of the publishers and studios out there would kill to have R*'s resources. If this were a traditional beta, then 90 days would be appropriate. Most betas in software development are closed affairs. This one is open to MILLIONS of users generating mountains of data. I'd be willing to wager most of this beta is designed to be little more than a stress test for the economy, build a model for anticipated player behavior "grieving", and soft testing pvp showdown variants to tweak rules. But most of the work that traditionally goes into beta trials was done before they shipped the physical copies. They're just using this to track the items above and get free QA testing. They're more concerned with exploits and rank boosting than any sort of technical calamity at this point. But moreover, 90 days puts them squarely in the release windows of 2 competitors in the online space, Anthem and TD2. Thise dates have been set in stone for ages, and someone are R* dripped the ball on that one. See my point above, this game is already profitable. Everyone sinking time into the beta is not only providing free bug testing and QA, but paying for the right to do so. It has nothing to do with gamers feeling entitled, and everything to do with gaming companies taking customers for granted, not the other way around.

  30. You and a couple others keep talking about it, and despite it's flaws, I loved TD, and now I just have to preorder TD2 for PC. Switched back to PC gaming a while back for various reasons, only playing RDR2 on xbox simply cuz it's not on PC (yet) and already had an xbone. Plus, when I made said switch, GTAO had many, many more hackers and griefers than xbox, so dont imagine RDO would be any different if they released it for PC. Also seeing a lot of people complaining that R* released Gun Rush while many other things remain broken and whatnot. More than likely, Gun Rush was already finished and in the code when the beta launched. Pretty sure there was a leak about a battle royale mode prior to beta, and Gun Rush has those parameters that were leaked. Much easier to give access to something already completed than to rewrite the code for bug fixes, reworks and such, so they released it just so that there was something new for people to sink their teeth into. I am a little upset about the beta going for another few months, but it is what it is. I was throwing dynamite and molotovs trying to kill the prisoner on the back of someone's horse once, but it was because they were just riding around slowly, not going to the objective, just wasting everyone's time... another form of griefing, simply wasting a lot of people's time by dragging things out

  31. sounds like a personal problem, or your'e hitting them in the neck instead of the head. Bolt action rifle I've never had issues using while hunting, and I've crafted every item the Trapper will create minus the animal parts only found in New Austin. I usually use the Springfield, but then i get bored of that one and switch to the bolt action. I got my last 3 moose skins with the bolt action. 1 headshot is all it takes. You could try for the vitals if your dead eye is leveled up enough, headshots are the only sure way to get a perfect pelt, miss a vital shot and you ruin the pelt, not as easy to miss a headshot, well it is but usually you just miss, not ruin the pelt.

  33. If you're not terribly worried about speed and stamina, there turkoman is the best option. It's great in a shootout, doesn't spook and fight you in my experience. I use the silver turkoman when I'm fighting at night because I blend in very well. I do the same with the brown foxtrotter and green/black clothes. But I generally use my silver dapple foxtrotter for most things as my play style is to be very mobile, although she sticks out like a sore thumb. It's what I used in SP. As far as temperament, they are almost even with the turk winning out. Although, I sometimes feel it varies. Because my horse will follow me everywhere even if it puts her in danger. Where as my friend's horse is hard headed lol. I am not fond of the Arabians at all. Although their stats are pretty on paper, the temperament kills it for me. I have literally ran down cougars and gators with the turk. I have noticed, as far as "personality", the Turks are very.... sassy? Lol. The Foxes are more chill. Arabians are like brat children tho. Currently have both coats of foxtrotter and the silver Turk.

  36. I found a spot for this you won't have to watch for trains. Just north of St. Denis the train tracks split, the east track goes up to Annesbury, but the west track is unused as it dead ends. You can stand on that west track and fish all day if you want. Almost all of the Lake Sturgeon weigh at least this much. And you can catch them in the swamp at Lagras with the lake or swamp lures.

  37. It seems to work in real life for people, not sure if it would online though. If you show me how to do it I'll do the same In any case if you want to get better at shooting people, I suggest trying to go on the rooftop in Saint Denis or other spots (check the net) and start practicing headshots and other methods for killing. In the current state of the game it basically comes down to pressing the auto lock and flick the right stick quickly in the direction of the opponents head and shoot. About 75% of most encounters are who gets the first hit in anyway. I am very average in shooting, but still manage to kill quite a few people. It takes a bit of practice though.

  38. bandana's back then weren't worn for fashion. They had a purpose. Most men in those days didn't give a sh*t about fashion and wearing patterns, or if their shirt matched their spurs. etc. The only things that mattered about a bandanna was if it matched the colors if they were in a gang, (like The Cowboys and the Wild Bunch all wore red bandannas) to keep dust/dirt from their mouths, and conceal themselves if needed. I think the masks are stupid, masks back then were mainly worn in the cities by the rich and the suck-ups to their balls and parties. Men of the wild west didn't wear masks, they used their bandannas. About the only time you'd see a mask on an outlaw was their death photograph/drawing depending on the undertaker, or if they got shot in the face/head.

  39. if you're on xbox save the game (or if you have a save near that mission use it) then exit the game in the game menu or game management menu. Shut the xbox off for 30 seconds or so using the button on the console. restart the console, load that save and try again.

  40. The attitude you have is kind of wrong.. Well id say the lack of attitude. Im friendly.. and will help players. I help them all the time. But in the back of my mind im always waiting for someone to attack me and that its what makes it fun. For me its.. go ahead, and make my day. One of my favorite games of all time was Diablo 2. Back in that game the griefers where called PKers. A lot of people hated them.. I LOVED them. Because they added sort of evil encounter feel to the game that was better than AI's. There was also private game options.. Same applies to RD O. R* should not dumb this game down for players who don't like conflict with others. They should add private lobbies OR at the very least Friendly Lobbies for PvE only players. I don't want R* to punish griefers or hostile players. I can do it myself. Griefing is the least important thing R* should be focusing on. They should be adding BASIC game player features and options, some of which would end griefing by default.

  41. Players can live with being killed. When a players fill a need to attack and only attack players that aren't participating in PvP is an issue. I understand seeing a player and trying to start some PvP action, but seeing a group in a town shooting everything in sight and then deciding the those players out in the middle of no where is where the PvP action is? Come on! Seriously, to say there isn't a issue because you decide there isn't one. As you said adding those extra lobbies would actually fix the griefing, cause then players wouldn't have to partake in it if they chose not to. Having a PvEvP freeroam is tough to make cause some players are just asshats and want to force players into playing the game the way they want and say stupid crap like that's the way the way the Devs wanted it, the complain about something else that the Devs have done. Rockstar's 1st focus should be improving the PvE side, not PvP. PvP players have options and what few options the PvE players are being ruined by the griefers who don't want to PvP and claim the PvE is way too easy for their superior skills.

  44. Maybe. I think it comes down to personal preference and play style. Overall, I think the Fox Trotter is the better horse. It has a faster top speed and more stamina to maintain it. I also think they are the most calm and easily controlled horses in the game (with good stats). So if you're playing the game solo or do a lot of traveling and hunting, etc. it may be the best horse for you. Certainly my favorite for general free roam style of play. However, and this is a big consideration, if your play style is more PvP based, more protracted and ongoing gun fights and hunting down opposing posses and such, then I would say the Turkoman is the better choice by a pretty significant margin. It has the same acceleration as the Fox Trotter, just not the top speed. Which, acceleration is probably more important in pitched gun battles than top speed anyway. And although you give up some longer ranging stamina you more than make up for it in much better health so that your horse has a better chance of surviving throughout the battle. Seriously, I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. It's just a matter of which you really value more. Health or Stamina. As for the Arabians, no. Absolutely not. Skittish little ponies that everyone just looks ridiculously huge riding on.

  48. Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, in the great state of Texas. No, I don't wear a cowboy hat and ride a horse to work. . . . but I DO have a great barbecue pit and can smoke-up the best meats you ever tasted. So, there's that.

  49. I live in a small city called Posadas, Misiones province. North east Argentina. Right on the frontier with Paraguay and very close to Brazil. Really close to the jungle and IguazĂș falls.
