THIS!!! my crew and I were trying to build an immersive experience in which we had in the previous RDR, but god Rockstar is working against us entirely. the whole "one shoot fits all" thing you mentioned is spot on. No point in interacting with any crew at all, or have structured battles, events, and so much more because of AUTO AIM, and all the BS that comes along with it. Now a lot of people have dynamite/explosive arrows and rounds that being on a horse is all you have to do to be OP. its exhausting and i just don't even hop on anymore, sure it might not seem like a big deal to casual gamers, but my crew and I spent days in game, spent days structuring our crew, days making a website and Discord. So for me to just not give a crap about this game is actually a huge deal. No potential for actual crew immersion or interaction. Funny how you mention decaying playe rbase and people think you're wrong because their servers are full lol, i wonder how many actual servers there are in the game and how many of them are at half capacity or less, hell i've even been on servers that only had around 8 people, most being my own crew.

This games player base is decaying and there no question about it. From reddit.. to forums, to social media. Its all there.. This game is not running strong. Its limping along... This game is not a MMO.. Its an action game where the action barely exist. Everyone I know is dying for actual pvp modes.. And they simply got fed up of begging for basic sh*t that should already exist in a R* game.

I can't help but think the current state of RD O player base and unhappy players will push R* to rethink its mindset when it comes to RD O. And this will end up being a good thing in the long run. And hopefully gets rid of the people in charge of RD O for being completely clueless and bad at their job. Because if RD O was successful, nothing would change. Just more of this, for years. Im literally the only person left out of tons of friends who own this game that still plays RD Online.. And when I say plays it, I mean 1 hour a week. Compared to end of 2018 and early 2019 when EVERYONE I knew was playing and I was playing this for many hours a week, (Its kind of sad 😪) I've gone back to single player. Because I can play FREE AIM in peace, no ability cards.. no bullsh*t.. with a world that actually seems alive and is built around fun. The end of the BETA is going to be R*s second and probably last chance to really bring players back and keep their attention... And give players what they need instead of what Take Two wants.

This game is just about dead! Anyone who comments that they game is ok because they see 22 players in a session doesn't understand math. In theory that could mean there are only 22 players in total (I realize that's not the case, but you get the point). I just think they are completely under staffed from a developer perspective. It makes sense they keep adding PVP updates because those updates are isolated code branches that do NOT have an impact on the free roam world so they think its an easy win as an update delivery. They whole team should be fired!

Hi, I play mostly day time and weekends (UK - GMT) on PS4. I’m level 65 (04/04/2019). My aim is to level up gaining XP doing the missions, daily challenges (as little griefing as possible, rather just do the kills one on one between ourselves) & gang hideout clearing. I will always loot corpses where possible & don’t say no to free items in building searches either. The aim is having fun on the journey. I also hunt, gather & fish. I’m not a griefer but happy to hunt them in a posse if they become persistent & annoying, messing up our day but would prefer to leave them alone. I would enjoy making new regular online friends to get the most out of RDR2 online either riding out in your posse or in mine. I have a headset & am polite & respectful and English speaking during conversations. Contact me (PSN evilcd) if interested. Thanks

We all know sometimes age doesn't mean level of maturity so if your respectful and easy going we will give you a test run. We usually require our players to wear a Mic but some don't speak English but pickup on what we want quickly. Saddle up partner. Will get you in tonight if ur on. Thanks

That won't be a problem bud. We have several from u.k. I'm on est time myself and play mostly evenings and a lot on weekends. Typically on from 330 pm est till around 8pm est and almost all day on weekends. We will get you in today if your on. I'll send fr this afternoon. Thank you sir !

Hi, thanks for the reply. If my UK - GMT hours fit in with your online time I’d be happy for a trial ride in your posse. My current dilemma is that my majority of friends are based in the USA and our online times differ dramatically.

a reply I received from rockstar support this morning touches on this and a couple of other issues I am currently experiencing Hello SKOOM4LIFE, Thank you for your reply. I am sorry to hear that we have not replied to your question. I apologise for the misunderstanding. After reviewing the recent patch notes ( 10.6 and 1.07 ) it seems like no chance was applied to the treasure drop rates. As mentioned earlier, the drop rates for Treasure Map are Random so it is very likely so sometime you will find many of them and sometime you wont find any at all. This does not means that drop rate changed. Regarding the outfits on your horse, we have received similar report from other players and our development team is currently looking into it. In order to try and fix this issue, could you please try deleting your custom outfits, and creating new ones ? Regarding the animal despawning, the game at the moment tends to clear carcasses and bodies when they are too far away from players. This seems to happen more often when there many players, and dead bodies around. We are currently looking into the details of this, but we suspect there is a bug in the de-spawning of bodies and carcasses and our QA team is investigating. For now we advise you to not kill too many animals from too far away. If you do kill an animal, you should try looking /skinning it as soon as you can and not get too far from it. Finally regarding the core, this is perfectly normal gameplay. For all 3 stats, the core slowly decrease with time. The bar around theses cores do increase by themselves ( depending on your cores ). It makes sense as the cores are restores by eating. Think about it this way : your character needs to eat every so often. Otherwise he will slowly starve and his cores will decreases : his health, stamina and dead eye will slowly decrease. speaking of wasted money, I want back the approx. $500 cripps has stolen from me with bad camp moves... and I would love to know the amount that rockstar has bled from us via camp and stable fees... are these really necessary?? have not noticed any upkeep whatsoever

I got kicked like 6 times in a half hour the other day. I just give up when that happens. I give it a half hour and then I just move on with my day. Seemed to have been fine yesterday and today though.

Had issues with d/c a couple of weeks ago for a few days (i believe everyone had them that time). Had only one d/c for last 3 weeks and it happened 4 days ago. It does sux to d/c 4 times fully loaded tho. Did You have d/c issues before or just now? What about other games (if You play them) ? Try hunting for birds - they give a lot of money for feathers and will not despawn after d/c same like the fish. You can always got to pvp sessions or missions to gain some cash along the way. Not as fast as hunting tho but a good training pvp wise.

This sounds about right to me. It has been a while for me but this is pretty much what I did. Let us know if it worked for you OP.

you have to tap X repeatedly, like when you're lifting Lenny up onto the train in chapter 1, you hit the A button (xbox one) over and over. the tool tips they put on the screen are accurate, you press the left stick up to raise it and mash the X button to bring the candle to the wound. Fairly easy to tell as when you press it once a sliver of the ring around the button they're showing will turn white.

From memory, it was just a matter of pushing the left thumb stick up (same as for walking forwards). If this doesn’t seem to work, you might want to power the console totally off, waiting a minute and trying it again.
