  1. Think about what you said for a second, you are generally a nice person so please don't take offense to what im saying lol. 1.This game was in Development for damn near 8 years? that's a whole lot of time to get their sh*t together. "they made one of the greatest single player games" sure I believe that but the issue is they also included, advertised and even the previous rdr had single player. So its entirely their fault for not working or having a dedicated team to work on the online aspect of the game. 2. They included micro transactions from the get, they made around 725 million on the first 3 days of release lol so idk why the hell they brand a beta yet have micro transactions instantly when they don't need it. I would be fine if they released them after the beta was fully released but not during. 3. Its not a beta, its a quick cash grab companies do now a days to make as much money as they can before they either succeed or fail miserably. Look at Fortnite its still on beta yet its at season 2,000 lol. 4. No point in staying in a dying game, there are gonna be more AAA titles releasing such as Gears of War, Cyberpunk, days gone, rage 2.. just to name a few, im pretty sure that most if not all of these games will be finished products with updates rather than a half assed Alpha (bare bones) that they plan on releasing at the span of 5 years. It doesn't work that way for true RDR fans, it works for GTA but not here unfortunately.

  3. I've been sticking to the south for animal hunting. I do pretty well in this area with a lot of different animals (deer, birds, small game, lots of hawks to be found here. Good luck!

  4. 90% of the time all I hear is complete silence... birds chirping, horse hooves, wind blowing... another player standing there with all the conversion skill of a statue... I’ve now made it a personal policy that if I’m doing something another player can mess with, and they don’t reply to my verbal communication, I kill them. I’m tired of statues coming to life and shooting me in the back of the head when I guess wrong. I’ll tell them why i killed them as I ride on too... could have been avoided if you just opened your mouth and spoke your intentions.

  5. Ozzy thanks man, that is exactly what I was asking about, I wish we had one for everything, like value of animals towards xp, and other things you can do earn xp and what they pay, but this resource is great!! thanks I am not looking for any shortcuts, I just want to know where to invest my time, where the pay outs of XP are highest so I use my time well and earn the max amount of xp that I can as I go, rather than waste time with things that pay little to no XP at all. The list Ozzy produced is great, at least it shows you what to expect for those stranger missions. Im now at level 37 and doing fine, but I would still like to find a resource that outlines the xp pay outs.

  6. I've said this from the start. The kicking system needs to be redone because it doesn't work effectively. Like if you vote to kick someone, it just makes it harder for other players to see their rank and what not. What benefit is there to that?

  7. The Loft - Grizzlies East (North East), Ambarino This location also has a basement... you have to go outside to the rear of the house.... it contains a fairly large amount of high velocity rifle and revolver rounds

  8. This game is just about dead! Anyone who comments that they game is ok because they see 22 players in a session doesn't understand math. In theory that could mean there are only 22 players in total (I realize that's not the case, but you get the point). I just think they are completely under staffed from a developer perspective. It makes sense they keep adding PVP updates because those updates are isolated code branches that do NOT have an impact on the free roam world so they think its an easy win as an update delivery. They whole team should be fired!

  9. Griefers are not the problem. They are the solution to the biggest problem.> Which is boredom. R* games are known for open world PVP and general ****ery... The best moments I've had in all R* open world games is fighting against assholes. Without them.. whats left to do in this game? Pick flowers? Kill defenseless animals? PVP game modes are not the same as free roam. Its much more personal type of battle.. Usually against 1 or a group of friends. The current PVP modes also have no real purpose then just shoving players into random pvp game modes..and turn into auto aim wack a mole. Free aim and private lobbies is not something that requires much effort on R* side. They've existed for over 10 years now. If all this game has to offer is ONE lobby type.. that caters to auto aim players that dislike PVP. Then I have no real reason to play this game.

  10. Howdy @evilcd all adult posse adding new gunslingers. We don't grieve but won't run either. Do a little of everything. We won't have any racism , remarks about sexual preference , political , or nationality. Anyways if you would like a shot at becoming an Angel Lmk.

  11. Probably have no room to get in this topic. Never played RDIIO and won't ever invest time into it. Mainly for the reason "been there, done that". Played GTA Online religiously for years. That system had an ammo share and a food share between others and didn't make people lazy to buy their own food items and ammo. Yes, it's different two games. The blueprint of the online versions are fairly close to each other. Look at it as Rockstar's main goal was to make a good "semi-arcadey/ driving" game for GTA and a great hunting game for RDII which happen to take place in a western era. Intrigued by @lumper 's proposition and also respect the opposing opinions that are "respectful" in return. Had a "native" ideal to it until finding out the OP went full "Saint Hubertus" but not literally but some parallel, don't know who that is look it up it's a very good lesson and a short read. Maybe this idea can work and work for all. Let's say you by accident went overboard on the hunts and had no room to store. Makes no sense to have something waste virtually or for the real world. Not sure you guys and gals can ammo share and food item share with friends in the game yet. Just thought of this and here it is. Share canned food items with others while you're within the proximity to them and share ammo as well. The hunting part if you went overboard by accident. Maybe an introduction of a new item as in a flute or horn you sound off for a native tribe come to you at the spot to pick up everything you can't store as a donation/peace offering to their tribe to receive good honor for your online character. Yet, don't know if Native Americans are even in the online so that idea might have no traction at all.

  12. To answer your question no. There is no option to sell back gold bars for real cash or in game cash. At best hold on to them to buy other junk when it comes out.

  13. Depending on what you have left, it might be worth just sitting on them for now and waiting to see what else they release. I have a decent amount of them myself.

  14. @lumper I got sick and tired of grinding and didn't know how sick and tired I really was until I got another guy to ride in a posse. And then a third guy joined us. Instead of grinding by fishing and hunting and fighting off Griefers, we started running story and stranger missions and the levels just piled up as did the treasure maps. It was a whole lot more fun. The 'noob' in my Posse was a level four. Two weeks later he was Level 28. I am now a posse member with a guy in Australia and another guy who is in great Britain. I'm in the central time zone but I make it a point to be online at 5 a.m. Central to play-- and all of a sudden I'm at level 94. Hooded stirrups, Gerden Trail then upgraded Gerden Trail saddles make just about any horse competitive!!! I don't even worry about ability cards. I did buy one expensive pamphlet for explosive shotgun slugs and those are reserved for Griefers or battles when we are outnumbered or against guys with extremely high levels. Just food for thought for you, Lump Friend Me, XBox Gamertag: The Grey Hare and if you see me on I will activate my Posse and good things can come of it for u.

  15. "One eyed Jacks" (1961) Marlon Brando, Carl Malden, Slim Pickins. This movie started out with Stanley Kubrick directing but wound up with Brando directing it, the only movie that Brando ever directed. It's a free view on Prime video and Tubi TV but do yourself a favor and find it on YouTube. The Prime version is really a poor print so find the HD versions on YouTube or elsewhere.

  16. I decided to create a female character for the online but I am a 40-year-old straight male. very often I get friend requests or chat invitations from players I casually meet just because they think I'm a woman. I usually ignore and go ahead. but sometimes I agree to chat and in the deepest voice I can, i talk to them "hey man , how are you?" LOL

  17. Hey all, I'm new to this site. Just like you all, I don't want to pay for items I can find in houses. Here is my map of all the items I found. This map isn't complete. It's just what I've found. Since the map is extremely large and you can zoom into the individual house locations. I tried to Insert other media and it didn't work. . If I can some how upload the file from the link to this site? that would be great. I'm new, so I might be doing it wrong lol So I upload my map, you can download the map here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/o72ii82nb8or99k/Red_Dead_Online_Map_V5.jpg Here is a example of my full online map: I color code the items mainly for what I was looking for: example gun oll is Blue / Moonshine is light Blue / Special Tonics is Yellow. There's a few more other colors. if you download it, you will be able to zoom in all the way and read the listed items for each house. There's a red circle around the area which the items are in. The items listed around the red circle are the items in that area. Hope this helps, enjoy! You can Zoom in:

  18. After a few days of exploring, I think I've found all of the jewelry spawns in Online. I think I've hit every location across the entire map but please let me know if I've missed any. I haven't found any jewelry past Blackwater which is odd. General rule, Loot everything in these marked locations and you will find it. (Unless somebody has beat you to it) - Jewelry items are random. Example: you might get a ring, bracelet, necklace, or 2 earrings from the same "box" in multiple tries. - Some locations have 2 jewelry spawns ("Hanging Dog Ranch", "Painted Sky", "Martha's Swain")

  19. you like pork? i have a super simple pretzel crusted pork loin recipe. You can swap out the pork for chicken breasts but i like pork better in this one. If you swap it out with chicken you want the chicken cooked to a minimum of 165 F internal temp. I usually have this with pan seared asparagus or brussels sprouts.
