  1. Post your interesting/funny Pictures/clips here. I'll start. This one is Pre-Summer update, as evidenced by my characters face. (Looks a little stoned) (I took these while I was loading into a different server, hence the black and white) And here's one my friend took of me.

  2. I have taken some for fun and put them in this album, whether it be characters (many times they react to you taking their picture) or just something cool, or for it’s details..... https://flickr.com/photos/8442582@N03/sets/72157709102526496

  3. Free Roam Event schedule: https://www.richardwestenra.com/rdr2-free-roam-event-schedule/ You have to be free roam and not in a mission at the time the event happens and you’ll get an invite pop up.

  4. I am a bit confused. I know about the deal going on but when I went to preorder the game, it only gave me the option of one bonus game for free. Is this a mistake or did something change?

  5. Sad to see you frustrated. I remember the time when i was 21 rank and yes it was hard to compete with rank 100+ players but i learned to do it, ranked up, geared up. Trust me you dont need to buy Gold Bars here so kids with money not so much. Try to rank up and gear up avoiding other players. That is what i did till i got lvl 50+. About tonics and exp ammo. They are in game and will get used. Just rank up untill you have em too and use them.. Tonics are very easy to make bcoz of the ability to buy materials for them @ madam Nazar. (it was easy before as well just more time consuming bcoz of the lobby changing). Im lvl 239 and 35 years old and use tonics and expl ammo bcoz they are a part of the gameplay. Not only kids use them I came across some kids in RDR 2 Online but just a few. Usually talking shiet in chat, get muted quickly and a total disaster in pvp. You need to rank up a bit. Dont be mad at players that took their time to develop their chars and game skills for beeing better than you. My advice is to progress the game (its easier than it was on beta) and progress your skills and gear. Ability cards, guns, health, stamina , dead eye bars.

  6. That is interesting that Xbox beat out PS in terms of experience for the game's overall performance. What do they rank exactly? I always thought both consoles were basically the same with minor differences and their own restricted release titles. Anytime I ever talked about the comparison with people, they base what system they get on exclusives and nothing more.

  7. There's at least 4 different locations the Condor Egg can spawn, in 3 different regions. 3 Regions are (Gaptooth / Tall Trees / Roanoke) I know 3 locations in Gaptooth, 3 locations in Tall Trees, & 2 locations in Roanoke. Sometimes I find it right away at the 1st spot or find it at the 2nd spot. I normally don't have time to search the 3rd or 4th spot before someone finds the egg. I agree there needs to be more than 4 spots the egg can spawn in. As people with good memories can easily remember the spot they found the egg & then mark the spot once they're in free roam. If anyone is curious in knowing the locations I found the egg? Let me know, I'll gather my screenshots & post what I've found. I've just been lazy & haven't done it let.

  8. If you are not sure, post your specs and I can ask my friend for you. He knows how to build PC's and customize everything. Alternatively, you can wait for the Steam release and if it doesn't run, get a refund. ---- Also, I shall be getting the game on PC. I hope enough folks here are getting it. We can form a posse!

  9. Understood, just use what you have and post results, that alone will be helpful. If you have a 4k tv you can hdmi out to it from your pc, if not no worries. Well, you dont have to post videos, you can do screen shots and on pc there shoudl be a way to see the fps on screen while playing, so once it is out you can take alook and find out how to measure your performance. I am watching build videos about gaming rigs and boy have things eveolved since 2008 when I built my ;last gaming rig. What used to be around $2500 to build the ;atest greatest has been lost to $4500 -$ 6000 rigs, and thats a bit extreme. The performance from these machines is amazing! but unless you own a system where you can simply upgrade your pc to a multi thread core chip and the latest gpu that takes up 3 slots, lol and some very good cooling, it wont make much sense to build this beast simply for rdr2, I mean if I had the disposable income, I would do it, I have a 70" 4 k tv with full array lighting and lots of bells and whistles, so I really wish I had the $$ to build one, I cant imagine how amazing this game would look at 4k with all effects on max running at or over 60 fps, I can only imagine, but I dont think you need a $4500 rig to do that. I think for around $1200 you can come pretty close, maybe 30fps with everything on, but if you can maintain 30 fps in these settings, it is going to be awesome!! We need some benchmarks. I am going to make a separate post on this but this brings me to he Stadia. Do you think it will be possible to stream the game at these settings where the power is on the server side and you only need a modest machine to run it? I want to look into this option, I dont have a lot of experience in this arena and dont own one, but I am willing to spend the $200 or less on it and find out. I think this could be a way for many players to play the game on pc without having to make a huge investment on hardware upgrades.

  10. I played the alpha and both betas. For me, while the improvements were welcome and refreshing as it made this CoD game less "CoD" than some of the more recent titles, it is still CoD at heart. IMO, I look for a more tactical experience in my shooters. I don't like the run & gun nature although what really kills it for me in CoD is the ability to hop / jump. If they would have limited this or even eliminated it from the game in their hardcore/realism mode, I might be on board. I also prefer a low TTK damage model and other aspects like that which tend to naturally slow down the pace of the game. ....a slower pace means more time to approach objectives tactically and a better chance more people would be willing to work as an actual team covering one another, etc.

  11. I think they've named a finite number of seasons but I can't remember what that was... but the show has to come to an end sooner rather than later because it's starting to line up with Breaking Bad more and more, hehe. I wasn't sold on the idea of a Saul spin-off at first (I would have preferred a Gus Fring spin-off, he was one of my faves) but the first season turned out to be so good that I was hooked. It's really a quirky and well-written show, and they absolutely do the character justice.

  12. I can say this, my gaming desk currently has an Asus VG245 60Hz 1080p monitor with the PlayStation 4 Slim and the Xbox One X. Keep in mind that I'm only running at 1080p. GTA 5 is far better on my gaming laptop with Intel i5 and GTX 1050 TI 4 GB then the Xbox One X. But comparing Call of Duty WWII, it is way better on the Xbox One X. Assassin's Creed Origins is amazing on the Xbox One X, but I don't have it on PC to compare. In general, I find that the PC will offer you more, but not alway's. Optmization is key. Digital Foundary concluded that the Xbox One X provided the best experience for Red Dead Redemption 2 on console due to the hardware. No doubt that the PC version will be great!.

  13. Well, this community tends to be rather level headed about such things so I doubt you'll get the same treatment here. Well, as I mentioned earlier, as long as it doesn't go that route we're ok although I think I'll be moving this to OT as it seems more suited for that forum.

  14. Fair call but they have to consider the average PC gamer as well. Not all PC gamers have 4K monitors and beefed up computers so there is that.

  15. That's really subjective. I say subjective because even though we can quantify just how much better RDO could look on PC than console, there are still those who don't notice such differences. ....or perhaps even care. ....but for those that do, it will look absolutely amazing IMO. You simply can't compare the limited performace of a console to the power and features of a good gaming PC. In case you missed it, the PC version will also include: ....so yeah, in answer to your question I would say "a lot better".

  16. Hey there, so my advice is this. Just collect as you do other stuff, dont really pay attention to it so much at first, just do it in the background. Grab anything you encounter, and if you know where an item was once, everytime you go by there, check to see if it is there then. Grab anything you can find. Try to get the metal detector as soon as you can. What I did was collect them until I had mostly full sets, then I used not the above maps, but a video that shows every item category, then time stamped each item depending on which day in the 3 day cycle it happened to be, and I will go out and grab the final 1, 2, or 3 items I need in any given category. Once you have the full set go see her and sell it. This week we have 30% boost on role xp and xp in general so it is a good time to do this. Once you get the detector, and binoculars it is much easier as you just ride around with your detector out while hunting, running missions and doing bounties, always hunt, and collect no matter what else you are doing. Then you will have all of your sets near full most of the time, and what I do is before I log off for the day, I look in my satchel to see what I need in my collections. If I need 1, 2, or 3 items in any given category, then I make a list, go to the video, and grab those final items, then I go see Nazar and sell the sets, this will give you a lot of xp plus cash. You get 2X for sets thats double the cash for selling a complete set, so adapting a strategy that allows you to not sell individual items will help you a lot.

  17. Slow and Steady, Iron Long, Fool Me Once all together allows you to take alot of shots (especially head shots) and live. Last card, id use is Live for the Fight to always have your dead eye on charge (And Peak condition OR Strange Medicine for a side swap when dead eyes full) That set up is perfect defense against cheat shots artists and PIB users. Its almost comical how many shots you can take. Been using this set-up since SB was ruined by R*. Been called a hacker for using it, so that pretty much sums it up. That being said, SB is the counter to this set up^. So if you're dealing with someone using SB, swap to PIB.
