  4. Lancaster vs Litchfield As with most weapons in this game, the stats sheet doesn't tell you the whole story. And is usually a subject for a lot of debate. In the end you pretty much have to test them yourself to see which one fits your style of play. The Litchfield takes longer for it's aim reticule to zero in and do max damage on target. The Lancaster can put more hits on more targets faster than the Litchfield, so the small damage increase on the Litchfield isn't worth it to me. I find the Lancaster much more useful when for example, you're doing a bounty and their gang is running towards you and you have to put a lot of them down quickly. .

  5. You enjoying it here then? I see you been pretty active. Good to see. I love when new people join and keep active.

  6. Sorry R*, I don’t give a **** about snow, pianos playing jingle bells, Xmas wreaths and a free hamper of shitty gifts while there are no animals in the game and I keep losing money hand over fist (and time) trying to play the moonshine content. Bah humbug.

  8. yeah, the first bit sucks... I’ve delivered a batch with just one broken bottle and lost about $1.50... you need to do other work just to find your way through the first bit. If it does get better, and I’m sure the glitches will get ironed out.

  9. Not nearly as much as you can lose because it keeps resetting to zero.....

  10. Except for the fact that as a female character I get to wear my White and Pink winter "GTO style" outfit I care nothing about the snow. Hope it ain't going to get Blizzard like "wolfman 5* bounty". I'm prepared though. Obviously steps you can take to beat a blizzard. This is my list of Christmas presents R* has given me since last update (or my wish list of things they would fix)… Black screen of death. Moonshine disappears on crash Unable to enter moonshine shed and immediately after you can't mount or call your horse. Unable to loot some bodies Unable to hogtie some bounties that are tied with bolas Guns show up in wrong slots. Or wrong guns show up in the slots (that one's been lingering since day 1) Unable to get Cripps special stew to register for challenge Unable to enter cover or auto aim against Terminator Revenue agents. (If you going to make me free aim and I need 2 headshots against them at least let me enter cover) Large pelts/fish (again) and butchers disappear after fast travel. And NO *$#+&$%* ANIMALS! Sorry I'd go "moan" over at Reddit but I need to make a video or funny meme B4 I'd get some traction. Better yet I'd be quiet if they fixed 30% of this stuff

  11. The temperatures have to reflect the snow too ..... can’t be 80 degrees out and snow on the ground in Saint Denis ...... trust me .... born and raised in Louisiana... lol

  12. I have. Sorry, when you said "ex in your shack" I understood ex to mean except as in no xmas theme in shack.

  13. Same. Except I did see 3 alligators when I spawned in yesterday but as far as doing the trader role thats just a drop in the ocean. The rest of the session (several hours) I saw a couple of ducks, 3 ravens, and an egret. I used to be able to do the 20 carcasses challenge out of my satchel several days running without a thought. I'm now down to a couple of squirrels and a toad.

  14. Yep, it's great when people join here with an interest in becoming part of the community. That's what it's all about IMO.

  15. Well, there have been several issues with servers, missions getting stuck at loading etc, since the new update. So it's probably related to that. If it happens consistently, sending in a support ticket is probably your best bet. That said, the Moonshine shack costs 25 gold. I wouldn't think not having enough gold would cause you to get stuck on the load screen... but who knows.

  16. On the revenue agents... on a whim today I stopped when I saw the red, went up on foot and just gunned them all down in cold blood before carrying on. I had one come try and chase me, but I was already there and nothing became of it. The ride through method has cost me a bottle or two from being shot at. Perhaps it’s the better method. I suppose I’ll have to try a few more times and see.

  17. Funny. There is a Christmas wreath at the frontdoor of the shack and Christmas tree at camp 🌲

  18. Maggie's missions are among my favourites in the game, though, at least. The one on the boat was epic, loved it and will have replay value. Agree on the returns, but I think (as with any business!) it pays much better as we gain in experience and equipment. I had my first $90 delivery just now and I'm only lvl 6. Once they hit $200 it'll pay as well as trader as things happen more quickly with moonshining. SO I get what you're saying, but I think we stick with it. It's a fun process, getting it right, and I accepted an invitation to another player's bar yesterday. We had a dance off. Was fun.

  19. Don’t get me started... I had to get a turkey for some guy sitting out in the middle of nowhere... after about 20 minutes of trying to find a turkey I got really frustrated with the game... I mean, I am an outlaw. Why the hell can’t I just rob the guy for his supplies? It’s not like I haven’t murdered a dozen or two people to get Cripps his tanning chemicals before...

  20. We're all very much looking forward to GTA6 and whatever else may be on the horizon. Red Dead was a major change for our club, but as GTA evolved from a petty crime simulator, to some kind of futuristic battlefield, it became unconducive to our game play style. It's not reasonable to role play as a biker club, gathering for bike shows and doing large formation rides, in a universe where flying bikes with homing rockets indiscriminately kill any unarmored moving vehicle, or an entire gathering can be destroyed with one orbital cannon strike. One of the great joys of playing GTA as a motorcycle club is seeing all the bikes together snaking around the map and then gathering in large groups for nonscripted activities. For us, the open world in GTA and what we love about the game was ruined. On GTA we adhere to the old MC 1% code which requires us to play freeaim with ARs or lessor weapons against dismounted players (no holds barred on vehicles). In the early days of GTA the game was fairly well balanced. Tanks could be killed easily with some sticky bombs and RPGs, and jets were relatively difficult to obtain and a challenge to kill, but could be shot down with well-timed RPGs. Today, the game has drifted into something highly unbalanced, which requires use of increasingly fantastical weaponry that just isn't fun for us or consistent with playing as a biker. My personal hope is that R* will bring back hardcore lobbies in the future so that we can enjoy immersing ourselves in an environment as near to reality as possible. From a club perspective, we will continually evaluate activity and how much fun we're having on whatever game we're engaged with. If something better than GTA or Red Dead comes along, we'll certainly consider moving. At the end of the day, we just need a platform for gathering our members. Maintaining the brotherhood is our primary focus. The gameplay environment is secondary.

  21. We do. We play lots of different games together. Many of us have multiple consoles and PCs, so we can slide back and forth between the various charters to play with each other. In addition we do watch parties and other online activities together. Outside the game we have members that are blood relatives or live nearby to each other so they interact frequently offline as well. Each year we also host club events in real life that we call ReaperCons. These events are hosted in the US and EU. The last ReaperCon event was in Los Angeles where a bunch of us got together for partying, riding motorcycles, & visiting sites that are featured within the game. We attended E3 where we met some of the actors from Red Dead as well. During that event a film crew was present. They followed us around and conducted interviews for an upcoming documentary on the club.

  22. We follow a traditional Motorcycle Club hierarchy. National President sits over all charters of the club. Within each charter we have: President Vice President SGT at Arms Secretary Road Captain Enforcers Treasurer Tail Gunner We have a constitution that ensures the rights of members and accountability of officers as well. All major club decisions are put to a vote and any full member can motion a vote on any subject they wish. Members are also free to run for elected positions within the hierarchy. This structure provides the authority necessary for officers to lead the club, without the ability to run roughshod over it.

  24. I did get it. Downloaded a number of WWE and WCW wrestlers from their creations website. I'm still working on learning how matches play, but it's not a regretful purchase like MW ended up being. Though if I'd known the Resident Evil 3 remake was going to be announced just days later, I probably would have passed on it.

  25. Your options as far as bullets would likely have been various Calibers of round nose or flat nose lead slugs. Maybe some early copper jacketed bullets in the bigger rifles... there may have been some different loadings (express, high velocity) with the early days of smokeless powder. Honestly, walk into a gun store and check out the various modern ammunition types a available (you’ll likely see they are just slightly different variations of the same handful of basic bullet designs with the factory advertising trying to convince you that their hollow points are better than the other guys). Now, take 120 years of research, development and improvements out of the picture and you’ll have a good idea what you would have found in the gunsmith store of the RDR days. there really wasn’t much at the time beyond various calibers of slightly different shaped lead hunks... and different sized shot for your shotguns...

  26. The only new-for-2019 show I've seen so far is Batwoman. Haven't bothered with reviews, but I've been enjoying it. Not sure if it's your cup of tea though.

  27. yep. i always contact them. they didn't reply yet, but somehow it's working now yesterday i restarted the game many times and was never able to change the privacy of the posse. today right on my first login i was able to change it whenever i want. maybe it takes some time to set the permanent posse, i don't know. anyway, when i restarted the game today, all posse settings became gray and "invite only", but now i can't change anything or even invite my friends, so now, as opposite of yesterday, i own a posse that i can't use with anyone i really love this game, but it's a mess 😕

  28. Don't forget that grandma is stocking up on toilet paper from your bathroom cabinet while grandpa is using a needle to poke holes in the condoms in your night stand. Free food, Charmin and laughs! That's what brings us seniors Christmas joy. 😀
