  1. As far as I know, bonding levels don't drop. Their stats can when they get tired, hungry, or dirty.
  2. I suspect so, but with the wide variety of cooked meats you can have, starvation isn't really an issue. Even if you have no meat on you, it's pretty easy to kill something and cook it when needed.
  3. Woah. That's pretty cool. I suspect it's for Online though. Still, it would be good to see how this strand plays out.
  4. Yeah, I only really bought my C8 because my old Samsung didn't really offer the level of HDR that my Xbox really wanted. Technology is the buying driver for me - my last Samsung because it was UHD. The viewing angles of the C8 are fantastic as well, I don't need to sit perpendicularly to the TV to get the best image any more. Having said that RDR2 and other games still look like games on the OLED screens. Better than before, but not really photo-real. I'm interested to see what the next gen has in terms of graphic capability, but it'll be a few years until we see something truely stupendous.
  5. With the companion items, you can't give the items to the people while you're in a scripted conversation that leads up to a mission. Walk up to Dutch while nothing else is going on and you should be given the option to give him the pipe instead of talking to him. From what I recall, recipients of these items should show up as blue dots on your mini-map.
  6. This can be a pain, yes. I've been through this kind of pain for many animals - small birds are especially tricky to study sometimes. Watching a few YouTubes on spawn sites and saving/quitting/reloading game saves can help with respawns. Herbs are a pain because they don't seem to respawn as quickly as animals do.
  7. Yeah, constant gaming will be a problem. RTings.com did a long term OLED burn test, and it took a while for gaming screens to cause burn in. Read the full story here. https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/real-life-oled-burn-in-test Since I change around what I view quite a lot, I'm not concerned, especially given that I own a TV for about 4 years at a time before getting something new.
  8. OLED screens are to some extend suseptible to screen burn, especially if you play the same game pretty much constantly and that game has a static element (like the map circle in RDR2). My screen use is varied enough for this not to be a consideration for me - I mainly use my LG C8 for TV/movies after all. I was thinking about the C9, but at the time of purchase, it was reviewed as being only slightly better for a lot more money. For a TV, it's the best screen I've ever seen - especially with HDR Netflix content.
  9. Yeah, it's frustrating to go through this experience. All you can really do is prioritise your own enjoyment and surround yourself with people who share your positive outlook. There's always going to be people intent on trashing you (or completely misunderstanding you), but you just have to shrug this off. I know from personal experience that getting heavily emotionally involved in an online community can reap rewards, but it can also damage your home life when it goes wrong. At the end of the day, you and your loved ones are far more important that people on the internet.
  10. Yeah, there's some gruesome stuff to find.
  11. I'm using a 55" LG OLED TV. Suits me just fine.
  12. I should be fine. I've arranged to get it sorted by a manufacturer approved body shop. The insurance will pay for it all.
  13. Just the rear bumper. In anything older, I would have just shrugged and left it. However, I have to hand the car back next year and I doubt they'd be impressed with the damage.
  14. I have to book my Porsche into the garage after someone helpfully rear-ended it a couple of days ago.
  15. No one has mentioned HBO's "Watchmen", so I'll recommend it here. Watchmen.
  16. Nothing. If the trapper has the legendary pelt, then he can craft with it. You should also be able to craft the trinket at the fence. You don't need the rest of the carcass for anything.
  17. Obviously, it's entirely possible that using a save game editor will screw up anything at all - you use these tools to abuse the system at your own risk. We can only really help with problems encountered during legitimate gameplay.
  18. I've moved this to the Online section because this is a Madam Nazar collection quest. You might get better help from the folks who play online.
  19. Are you actually following the dialogue and prompts to get there, or are you just heading for the location of the mission?
  20. The Del Lobo gang is active around there in story mode. It's likely you just ran into one of the gang members.
  21. What weapon are you using? Thrown weapons will only target the first x when you hit the right trigger.
  22. That could be the case - I read somewhere that there's a 10% chance of a two star pelt being uprated to a three star with the trinket. I'll take a look at the official guide when I get home to see if there's any more information there. After a certain point in the game, I only bothered targetting three star animals if I wanted the pelt for anything.
  23. If you're trying to make the taming process easier, you may as well just watch a few youtubes on this and learn how to break horses - it's not really that difficult. I managed most of them just by holding the thumbstick to one side or the other (into the turn) until the horse tired out
  24. You might be able to find the rifle in the mission when you replay it, but I doubt that it'll be transferred to your main game. The purpose of replaying missions is to get them marked as completed, or to get the silver/gold medals. You'll have probably noticed that when replaying missions, you start with a very basic horse and loadout (so that you can't ace the earlier missions using upgraded or superior weapons). I feel that the only way to get the rolling block rifle into the main game is to revert back to an earlier save point.
  25. The pause screen has a 100% completion checklist - it would really help to know what section of that checklist isn't showing as completed.
