  1. Yeah they re-spawn endlessly. Depending on your location, this can be a pain in the rear but as Foxtrot mentioned, you can decrease their numbers by a decent margin by simply taking out the gang hideouts.
  2. If you are noticing issues while in windowed switch to full screen and vice versa. Both should perform the same but given the issues the game is having, this can effect gameplay and performance right now.
  3. I think generally doing things like fishing, eating, etc. will do this for you. Just keep at it for awhile and update us on any progress. And as mentioned, it is worth reporting this to Rockstar in case this is a legit glitch or issue that you need help getting around.
  4. Well yeah, they have likely been testing it for over a year now and online at least for the last 6 months. Like mentioned, PCs are not all the same and there are bound to be issues. They are not a PC gaming company don't forget so you can't expect them to get it right out the gate.
  5. When you have your fishing rod equipped, are you then going to the bait menu to put the bait on it? This is the only thing I can think of as to why it would not be working for you.
  6. I tried finding information for you on why it wouldn't be showing and I can't find anything either. I don't remember having an issue with this myself. I will keep checking around, if I find anything I will let you know.
  7. I find that they spawn MORE on a populated server. The problem is, the server may have people who are hunting them a lot so it seems like there are never any showing up.
  8. I never thought to do this. I actually have a few different accounts for when other people play games on my system. I wish I would have thought to do this sooner. I am going to be playing the game on PC in a few days so there is no point in doing this now but I will give it a try in the future if I decide PC online is not great.
  9. I don't mind it being "easy". I am not someone who can play a game every single day. I got work and responsibilities that eat up a lot of time. Had they mad it where it was hard to level up, I would have not bothered playing online at all. I feel like they hit a sweet spot for casual gamers.
  10. I have not seen the option anywhere in store so I am assuming there is not going to be a physical disc like others have said. I really don't see the point. If you are going to play a game like this on your computer, chances are your computer is stocked enough to handle the data and game being saved directly onto the system.
  11. That is a quote from a news update. So it came out the day that GTA V for PC was released.
  12. I am more impressed by the wood in that picture. I know someone who can draw lifelike illustrations of objects and that is on par with it but the shadow detailing is insanely realistic.
  13. That is a good point. I tried using one of them generic PS controllers for a few games in the past and I couldn't get them to work. I also tried connecting a newer PS one using one of them sync things and it just didn't function right. Never had an issue with Xbox controller though.
  14. I remember having to return something on Black Friday. It was my only option as I was going out of town later that day for the week. I get the feeling that support for a popular video game is similar to going out on Black Friday. It is just a mess.
  15. Nice. Worth keeping this in mind then. Thanks for the update on it. If anyone asks, I will let them know!
  16. The game should have controller support no matter where you purchase it. I say should because they don't actually tell you that this is the case. This is part of the reason I am hesitant on buying it elsewhere, other than Steam. I think you will be fine though. If I find any information on it, I will let you know.
  17. I watched someone do that in a video and saw that it works myself. When was this done though, by the member on here? I ask because there have been several updates and they could have changed something to prevent this, you never know with R*.
  18. I don't want to give you any spoilers by accident. I recommend pulling up an online player's guide, there are a few really good ones, and finding what you just did, then checking what comes next. If it doesn't mentioned what you just did then stop reading and give it some more time. The game is pretty straight forward with the story path.
  19. This is something that never crossed my mind. I don't know if it was intentional or not but it is a cool little tip of the hat to RDR if so.
  20. That is the thing. They are offering stuff right now and I get the feeling there will be nothing special with the Steam release which bums me out considering it is another month's wait.
  21. I do wish this was the case but as mentioned, only one. I guess back then, it wasn't as common to own more than one so it makes sense I suppose.
  22. Could you imagine if they had both options going and people released they got the wrong one? It would be a nightmare. I'd hate to be part of their support team for that LOL!
  23. I only just now noticed this. Does this mean people who intend on buying the PC version from Steam have to wait an additional month to play the game? How does this effect preorders?
  24. I am having trouble understanding the question. Are you wanting to craft more than one item with the same kind of pelt?
  25. Knowing them, zombies that can shoot back. lol In all seriousness, I am not sure. I am not very familiar with guns or weapons from the time. They seemed to have already covered all the more popular ones.
