What do you think Arthur's favourite meal would be?
BelleStarr replied to Benjo's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Beef jerky. ????I have no idea, but steak is probably a fave. What do you think his favourite animal to eat is? Bear, deer, rabbit, big cat, chicken, fish...? -
Early 40s?

I think R* is renowned for being perfectionists with their games and rightly so! They always produce a game that is not rushed and is the finished product so it can only mean good things. I believe it is a year of just polishing, considering they were ready to release earlier, which is great!

I would highly recommend The Alienist on Netflix. One of my favourite series!

Take-Two President Predicts Complete Industry Shift To Digital
BelleStarr replied to NewsBot's topic in Off-Topic
I much prefer buying physical copies of games, personally. They're easier to sell when you don't want them anymore and our internet is so slow, it takes days to download games! I think we should still have the choice of what we want! -
I have two tattoos, one on my wrist, one on my upper back. They both have meaning to me.

I don't have a savings account but I do have savings in my bank, but it's mainly going to be used for when I eventually move out, so it'll disappear very quickly when it comes to getting a mortgage.

Sell the watch, buy the monitor and borrow the party speaker. Nintendo DS RDR2 Complete collector's edition (would include a bunch of goodies) Bose headphones.

He's also at Chatsworth house in the video, which I went to last year. Addicted to this vvvv

I enjoy Far Cry Primal. It was my first Far Cry game and FC fans didn't like it. They follow the same style in the series so people get bored. If you've never played a FC game, then it's probably perfect for you. If you like it, get it. I haven't really looked into it, I don't think it'll be for me though. I'm saving my money for RDR2!

I'm never ready for summer - I never plan anything really. I generally avoid going out midday as I have heat intolerance due to autonomic dysfunction, which then results in depletion of my energy reserves = fatigue.

I used to know people who started vaping but never smoked. I vaped once to try it, but it was pointless really because it didn't have nicotine in it. The was just breathing in blackberry flavoured vapour. I have my own vapour... from my inhalers. ????

I have become a more casual gamer actually, with the exception of R* games. I play Sims, Stardew Valley, used to play farming simulator, City Skylines etc. My mum bought me Horizon New Dawn and I thought I would get into it but I am not really feeling it and I feel bad because she bought it at quite a high price for me. Some games like Witcher became too overwhelming/complicated for me so I lost interest. Watch Dogs 2, RDR and the GTA series are the only non casual games that I have enjoyed, found easy to follow and it is not over-complicated! I enjoy games where you get times for yourself, to do what you like, to take it easy which you can do in the games I mentioned. In Witcher and HZD, you're always on edge because you could be spotted/attacked at any time and there's nothing else to do but constantly kill monsters/machines to stay alive. Far Cry Primal however seemed more tolerable for me - I haven't played it for a while now (I should probably try to complete it at some point). I've enjoyed it and found it fairly simple to follow. Maybe I'm a picky gamer, but finding the right balance for me seems difficult, but R* always manages to make games I can enjoy and usually complete. Games that are immersive and captivate you just by being in the world is what I like. Watch Dogs 2 does this well, as well as RDR and GTA.

I can't remember exactly, but doesn't Dutch believe that there should be no law, that men should be able to live how they wish? That would make one part of a motive to attack the lawmen. The gang seem to follow whatever Dutch says to do or he manipulates their beliefs (some of them aren't the brightest).

Haha yeah, it was good for the brief time it lasted. Would've been cooler without the bugs and I could just play around in RDR2. I don't think it's my first game related dream!
-
Yeah that's a good point. It will be interesting to see the ending they have chosen for it.

Someone said this would happen and that you become John and build up your ranch with your family before things go awry.
-
Because I can't get enough of RDR2, I had a dream last night about it.????I was in the game but playing the early access demo and was met with a terrible bug in the game which I messed around with but then the character's face went all distorted (eyes popping out etc) and then I realised why the game hadn't been released yet.
-
It sounds like you're referring to the stagecoaches, in which case, I don't think they'll be something you could have on hand. I think the most we'll get is a cart to use for hunting, possibly. But that may be a case of hunting one down ourselves and throwing bear meat onto the back.

The mines creep me out - I'm not particularly excited about them. ????

I genuinely have not noticed the lack of children in video games. ????It never crosses my mind, but if they were added, it would be a bad idea for any 18+ video game that involves killing (often innocent) NPCs. As others have said, they would be deeply criticised and shut down by the media. People already have a problem with video games and their violence so throwing children into the mix isn't a good idea.

New Screenshot Reveals Arthur Customization?
BelleStarr replied to CMcC's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yes, IGN has said that you will be able to grow your hair and facial hair and get it cut/sculpted to your liking. You cannot go to a barber and request a beard or long hair though like in GTAV, you must wait for it to grow. -
[Spoilers] 3 year old Reddit leak correct
BelleStarr replied to The Donald's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
That leak is eerily accurate, even down to Abigail and little Jack as they have been spotted in one of the trailers. We have heard some suggestion that the camp is on the move, but put it down to their activities, not down to a spy! That would be an interesting twist. Someone here suggested the idea of moving from Arthur to John near the end of the game. I can't say I believe in the mini games, but it would be enjoyable to have a nice ending with John, creating his ranch with his family. Where would they have gotten this information three years ago?! -
In one of the trailers, it's hard to see, but it is believed that Abigail is in shot with a small child, outside of the camp. They may have a child already in RDR2, possibly Jack. The daughter, for all we know, could have been stillborn or died as a young baby. I would guess that Abigail likely picks up on things about the gang and Dutch and tries to get John to leave, to maybe live an honest, family life style, but maybe he doesn't listen as he views the gang as a family almost. It is only when he is left for dead that he realises she was right about them, but that's just my guess. People are painting the picture of John as naive and almost boy like whilst in the gang and it's only after realisations, betrayal and heartbreak that he becomes the man we first met.

Playing as someone else other than Arthur?
BelleStarr replied to DiamondDave's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
This never occurred to me but I think it's a possibility! Then again, I think people had mixed feelings about being stuck with Jack at the end of RDR.
