Seasons Online?

Have seasons online been discussed? 

I feel like maybe going through seasons, like weather changes, would be a cool addition to the online game play. Like if they match it will real time. So say it is winter and you are in an area that sees snow, it will snow sometimes. Also, you will see your character's breath. I don't know about you guys but small touches like this really enhance a game for me.

If they can somehow pull this off without it effecting the online gaming, go for it. I am not sure if there will be any snow if we are deep in the south again but a bit of frost and seeing your breath at night can work. I would like to see rain now and then too.

They did rain in GTA V so I am sure at the very least, rain will be in the game for sure. Did they have thunderstorms too? I don't remember.

I am not sure where the location will be set. If it is more up north and the online allows the map to extend to mountain areas, I am sure we will see snowfall. Don't forgot they had snow in the single player of the first one even though it was not a feature online.

Real time seasons has not been done in full to my knowledge because most settings for Rockstar games were in one smaller location that was always warm or for the most part always warm. I would like to see this myself. What would be cool is to have it match the location's weather. So say it takes place in Seattle, then we would get Seattle's real time weather. I am giving that as an example, not saying it will take place there.

As mentioned, at the very least we will see rain so that is cool. I am fine with just rain but adding in maybe the occasional thunderstorm, now I would really enjoy that.

Just better weather patterns in general. Maybe have some light to heavy rain, thunderstorms, some dust storms if you are in the desert, cloudy days and sunny days, ect. Just making it more realistic would be cool to me. Match that with their amazing scenery and I will spend a lot of time just exploring the views.

They can just stick to the rain and what not but make it more "real". Like mentioned, just have it vary from light to heavy downpours. I would be okay with that. They don't need to go overboard with it for it to look nice.

I am sure we will get weather dependent areas and situations. Not sure how realistic they will be in terms of time of the year and stuff. 

I was thinking it would be cool to see old traditions of holidays maybe with the online servers.

If they were to do season it will probably be just like Grand Theft Auto v were they just added snow for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day then after that back to the normal weather. It would be to hard to do fall because they would need to change the leaves to brown and have leave falling adding a lot more instead just changing rain to snow and the floor to a snow texture

It is possible but if they did the weather according the area which will like be down south, there wont be much snow or rain. It gets cold at night though so even just having your breath show at night would be a cool touch. All depends on the location and setting of the game itself.

I like that! And thinking about it, it's a very likely feature to be implemented.

In red dead redemption they had the feature where you can see your breath if your up in tall trees

Yeah but it snowed there so that was to be expected. Some places in the south though get pretty darn cold at night and since it was hot all day, it would make sense to see a bit of breath coming from the mouth.
