Playing in First Person

Anyone who played GTA V knows they had the option to play in first person mode which was a nice little feature. Not many people actually played like this the whole game but to be able ti switch back and forth was nice. Do you think that we will see this in RDR2 at all?

If they work it into the story to have purpose, maybe for certain missions, fine I am all for it. But if it serves no real purpose in the game and you don't need to use it at all if you don't want to, don't bother. There are plenty of things developers leave in games as it is that really don't need to be there.

I would be pretty disapointed if they don't, i barely use first person in GTA V but it's one of my favourite features. It makes the world feel alot realer and physical to be at ground level in a town not look down on it. And people would use it if the acceleration wasnt awful

I personally loved using it when driving around. Now how cool would it be to have that feature whilst on the back of a horse!?

I don't really see the point in it. I hardly seen anyone using it in GTA V myself.

I guess it may be useful for some stuff but the whole point of games like this is to play in 3rd person.

This. I feel like if it is optional, it will only be used for certain missions and even then not needed really. I don't think it needs to be in the game at all.

Yeah I like it being an option. I don't get why anyone would not want it in the game. If you don't care then don't use it.

This is like complaining that they have weapons in the game you will never use cause you don't like them.

ABSOLUTELY!

I want it in the game myself. I think it is fun to use and mess around with. It gives you more control over what you can see as well.

I liked it just to use whilst driving myself. If they don't have it in, I won't miss it terribly but it is a nice feature to stick with just for the fans who do like it. Not like it takes up that much more room anyways.

If it's not in the vanilla game, I'd hope to see it added later like it was for GTA V.

And since Rockstar is already attempting this with LA Noire's remaster on next gen consoles, there could be a lot of VR potential for their games in the future.

Yeah you would think they would be looking to grab everything people enjoyed on GTA V as far as game mechanics and working it in RDR2 as well as LA Noire if possible.

Why not just have it added from the start? It would make no sense to do what they did in GTA and add it in later if they know a lot of people enjoy it. I mean I for one would love to ride around on my horse in first person at the very least.
