Okay I'm almost certain this is a bug since I see it often on male characters, my character stays overweight and no matter what I do I cannot get back to normal, which is extremely odd since before that happened I was constantly on underweight since I'd forget to eat

Nah, I play as a female character. When the Beta first launched I was constantly max underweight, but since the update 1.09 it says I'm overweight. I don't really notice as when I created my character I picked the slender body type. She just looks normal.

Last night I was killed by a griefer as I travelled down a road. I knew it was a griefer because he was killing others in the session as they travelled. Anyway, before my screen cut, my horse went down. It's possible he headshotted my horse and I died in the fall. When I respawned however, and tried whistling for my horse, it told me I "recently dismissed (my) horse and must wait". I didn't even know it was possible to dismiss your horse. I was at least expecting the scrawny nag to appear, but nothing came for nearly 10 minutes, just that message. I reloaded into a new lobby and got my current horse back.

It was a bug but it was supposed to have been addressed in the last update.  I would submit a ticket to R* Support:

If you are close to a stable, then you can run in there and get your horse back.

I also play as a female character and you won't see a change in weight unless you look (I do think the tush sometimes does get a little larger though) R* CS told me that it was a bug sometime back  but I think it's more of a get you to spend resources thing gone haywire and subtle way to get you out and about.  I could be wrong though.

I was overweight for like 3 weeks and my girl seriously had no stanima... but I think I figured it out (with the help of this forum).  If you spend too much time at camp or eat big game or other meats that highly or moderately raise the cores your character going to be overweight.   Staying out of camp for a few days and running seems to be the biggest thing that makes you loose weight.  Drinking and Low quality meat only when the cores are almost drained.

I've been out of camp for like 3 days now and I can't keep weight on.

It could also be that I complained to R* and they eventually fixed it though.  IDK.

So last night I tried from the places in the video below as well as Strawberry Hotel balcony. I only ever filled it one third full

The only thing I probably could of added is that when I jumped I hit square to jump and triangle to mount while in the air and it worked.

Idk I had a full blooper reel and couple of near death experiences  b4 it worked

See if it comes around again.  Probably is bugged , whole game is prepetual Beta

That's how I was doing it. Any higher up, I seemed to be really top-heavy and did a face plant.

Also today my character is down to Average weight with +3/-3 drain rates

entering free roam.

whistling-->you horse cannot find you. try from a different location-->whistling again-->you horse cannot find you. try from a different location-->whistling for a 3rd time-->my horse appears and coming to me.

Today i hit the 14/14 streak but in challenges tab it keeps saying X1,5 (0.3) for challenges. Anyone knows why or if it's a bug?

** My Horse sometimes die when i spawn in session costing me 4$

** Weight still bugged

** Sometimes im too hot causing my cores to empty regardless outfits

** Joining pvp modes almost never work, endless loading screen

** Stranger missions as Buggy since day 1, doesnt start etc.

** Really bad framerate issues

** Lag problems

** npcs going wild, horses stuck in ground, wagons flying all over the place, dynamic events not present in some sessions + unable to trigger sometimes

** dead enemy despawns still

** bying crickets and worms from the catalouge only give you 1 instead of 5

** crafting/bying too much at the same makes things just crawl to a stop

** hideouts gets abandoned b4 i start

** cant get the gift from rs b4 i get rid of all my regulare tonics. Sitting on 99 tonics of everything + rs free and when i need to refill it doesnt take the Free ones

** special spinner forever stuck in my lockbox

** wanted for nothing, wanted for vandalism or getting on my own horse etc

This is one of those nights I write little note to R* reminding them I could be playing another game and other games are coming.  Marvel ultimate alliance 3, avengers, COD, modern warfare revamp. I'm livid tonight feel sorry for the support rep who gets my ticket.  This is my pre ticket vent....

1.  Yeah I got camp bug too for week now..  Can't spawn one and when I do it lasts a few hours before I got to pay for another one.  Cripps can't sit still

2.  Every time I join a fishing challenge they give me 3 pieces of crickets, worms or crayfish and it completely overwrites the 20 I had b4 I joined.  Not to mention I don't catch fish and lvl 10 guy catching 180 lbs.  Maybe I stink really bad or it's Rigged if you ask me.

3.  Then I join a Free room for fools gold and none of my kills counted.  I watch the people die and got 0 points.

4. And to top of the night, Crashes when I got 5 perfect deer pelts.

For me it works sometimes but not others.

Seems entirely random. I can't see any pattern e.g. different weapons affecting it.

This issue is STILL alive and well lol. Getting reeeeal tired of it. Luckily the free Andalusian is a motherfugging TANK and shook this off lol

This is no bug, he did it on purpose! - Haha

On a more serious note, they did the same exact thing with Grand Theft Auto Online. Every time you are driving super fast in a car, the NPC purposely get in your way, I'm not sure why R* always does this to us!

However, I recall reading about this particular issue early on and it appears I have been afflicted... Posse size limit. I have a Persistent Posse and I paid for the Large camp upgrade to get my posse limit from 4 to 7, but it appears I'm stuck with the Small 4 slot camp size. Any ideas on how to fix this, or do I need to contact Rockstar Support?

At least your camp is spawning in. I still can’t get my camp to spawn in on most days. Hope R* fixes this before the update. What’s the point in buying the Trader role if your camp doesn’t spawn in. Lol

If I was you, I would wait a day. If it’s not fixed I would send R* a ticket before the new update drops. You don’t want to wait until after the update, because R* probably will get an influx of complaints.

Good call, thanks. I don't even know if my camp spawns, I tend to not call it in since it's a waste of $1.00 every day since it's essentially useless right now. It spawns in after I join a friend once in awhile.

 

Another potential "bug":

Does anyone who uses the standard Third Person controls (where PS4's "X"/Xbox's "A" is Run) notice that either on foot or on horseback, your character/horse refuses to run? I keep it set to Tap to run/spur but it's like not every tap registers. On horseback, the best I can do sometimes is a slow trot and the third person camera sketches out and tries to zoom in and out all haywire.

I was wondering if it was server lag or something because sometimes it's fine. I do have a new controller (PS4) I'm using too.

Is anyone else having problems with the "Destroyed by Grief" Quest? Every single time I get to the town to actually start the game I crash to desktop. Last night I played for around 8 hours no crash, no problem, but as soon as I do this quest and get to the town I crash


For the PC mode I ended up starting in "Safe Mode" which just lowers all graphics to potato status and it stopped crashing the mission, but it's strange that it happened repeatedly for that mission... I can't imagine Graphics being the sole error. I think maybe it's a memory leak issue?
