Tis the season to get into arguments with friends, family, and random people on the internet!

I say it is not a Christmas film but has become a Christmas tradition. What say you?

Nope. It is not. I don't care what people want to say. The movie is an action classic. Putting it in the Christmas genre is like spitting on the film. Most Christmas movies suck. I refuse to put it in that genre.

What part of "Christmas tree" do you not understand?

Voted no.

I never saw the film. I honestly just like getting under people's skin with pointless stuff. I have the same argument with my brother over the movie every Christmas. He is yet to win me over on it and get more and more pissed the older he gets. lol

Same for me. I know the basis of it and it is an action film that happens to have Christmas props. It could have happened at a Halloween party and nothing else would have changed in the story.

Then it would be a Halloween movie.

If it would have happened at a sex toy party instead of a Christmas party, then it would be a porno flick.

Yeah it has a light Christmas overlay to it. I don't count that. I feel like that was nothing but marketing.

Die Hard is as much of a Christmas movie as Miracle on 34th Street, Jingle All The Way, and Batman Returns are.

Jingle All The Way deals with the insanity of shopping for Christmas. I don't count the others as Christmas films. I am a bit stubborn with what I classify into these kinds of genres though.

Oh, come now. Don't you see the sheer Christmas joy in the Dark Knight's face?

Looks like me on Christmas morning.

Hell, looks like me every morning I have to get up too early for anything... Work, doctor appointments, holidays... Ugg.
