  2. Here's one version on my Arthur, I keep his hair the same but change his clothes regularly. His hair is length 1-2 (depends on my mood) His facial hair is length Moustache 4, Chin/Chops 0 (or 1, whichever is minimum) Hair: Swept back - fade. I try to keep him using Pomade, but sometimes after a fist fight his hair gets all tousled lol Facial hair: Full style, Pennant

  4. As mentioned, the first two games were not the same and RDR2 is simply an evolution of RDR1. What it essentially boils down to is that the devs added more depth to the mechanics, UI, AI, etc. ....and it's all the better for it IMO. The controls are similar to RDR1 and also GTAV. I'm not sure what you are struggling with but if you give us some specifics, we would be more than happy to help. Not enough open exploration? How far have you progressed in the game? Believe me.... The game opens way up at around Chapter II IIRC. The whole game world is open to you and there are a ton of side missions, random events, activities, etc. Some you unlock along the way. Crap items? Like what exactly? The economy is pretty simple and as you progress, new opportunities present themselves to you as new ways to make money. ....bounties, pelts, meat from game, fishing, herbs, stealing wagons, horses, robbing trains, holding up stage coaches, gang camps / hideouts, robbing houses, etc. As you progress, fences begin to become available where you can sell stolen goods and valuable items. A stable that will give you top dollar for stolen horses, etc., etc. You choose what you prefer. I can understand some disagreeing about some of the aspects of the game like controls and such (everyone is different), but to say the RDR2 doesn't have as much open exploration as RDR1 is flat out wrong. RDR2 is bigger and has more going on in it's game world than RDR1 ever did.

  6. Had originally imagined creating a look like Snidely Whiplash, but this was as close as I could get (the outfit that looks more proper requires positive honor, and I've been a bad boy). The mustache eventually grew out to the sides much more, but got a bit unruly. Just finished the story yesterday, and never really got into the in-game photos, so all the screenshots I have are Xbox screens while I was playing... not framed properly around the character. Can't see the multi tone half chaps, same colors as the rest of my outfit. Hadn't been customizing my guns yet, so they look like crap. Now that I've finished, my pistols are gold plated with black inlay, and the rifles are black with gold inlay and yellow/black wood (forget the name of the type) with the darkest leather I could get. Currently working on several other looks

  7. Lol, would be interesting to know who the owner was. Seems to be a kind of "unice"horse from a Important npc or something? Idk

  8. Haha! Too true! But am a sucker for the mustangs n when it says i cant have it then that made me even more determined lol. i ended up trying to put ma saddle on it which it let me but it wouldnt bond at all..? Then tried recalling it at the stable to see if i could glitch it in. Turned into the brown tennessee walker you get if your horse dies.. Went outside n it was still there, kicked me in the face n ran into the stable! Couldnt get back to it without it actioning - entering the stable animation. Lol!

  12. Cool stuff but little interest for folks like me who hate using them in games I like. If the gameplay is good, I see little use for them but that's just me.

  14. When you open the game in 1080p it stays in 1080p no matter what you change whilst the game is still running. The HDR has been proven to be "fake" I don't see a fix happening for HDR because RDR2 was made with SDR being the priority. I'm seeing alot of the same information posted from you that isn't helping anybody and rants that go on and on for pages.

  15. I cannot sleep if rockstar fixing this bug, because of all other games looking so beautifull. It is a problem of my self. I want 100 Percent from software and hardware. The same in my real job. This is a big fail. I´m a perfectionist I´m feeling bad and angry if I can nothing more do. I have modded on the monaco track of F1 2014 over 1000 hours. On the editing lighting and effects mod the same time. This was my work for 2 years. Codemasters using some of my reworked textures and some of my lighting in F1 2017 I´m proud of this but angry too.

  16. Of everything you said... This stood out to be the most. They did promise a game that we didn't actually get. I am not mad, I enjoyed it for what it was but had I not been a fan of RPG games, I likely would have not enjoyed this nearly as much. I likely would have given it a bad rating. I get what you are saying with this but it isn't meant to be GTA "Old West? edition. They wanted to try something different for their games and it worked out really well. Most people are HIGHLY praising the game. I am in no way saying you are wrong for your opinion of it, you have every right to feel how you do about the game but you have to understand that most of us on this forum aren't going to completely agree with you, or agree with you at all.

  18. All I know is.. If you have complaints with this game then nothing can satisfy you, or you just have riddiculous standards. This is probably the most refined game of the century. Let me ask you.. which game did you think was "better" than this one? Or.. whats your all time favorite game? And finally did you think that game was perfect? No games can ever satisfy everyone because everyone is different. Its not that the game was overrated, its just not your cup of tea. Given that said, this game is imo the most detailed, story driven, and captivating game that has ever been produced to date. Name one game that you believed to be the better overall game and why. Enlighten me friend. This game should set the standard for all gaming industries. [The witcher 3 aside.. that game was awesome]

  19. Aside from all the fools saying that the game looks great, I'm with you bro, but you need to chill. 1) Even though everyone can call me a western fanboy, the game IS 2 heads above anything else on market in terms of immersion and world-building. Given a non-fantasy setting - building a coherent, believable and functioning world like this one required a massive effort and apart from fortnite/cod people, I think everyone enjoyed it greatly. No offense, but I've seen people complaining about the hard controls/long animations/"unnecessary" interactions and stuff and as this is interwebs I can freely assume these "R* fans" have only seen GTA online, which I haven't touched with a stick. 2) Graphically RDR2 DOES look sub-par comparing with exclusive PS4 titles. I believe, everyone with >80% functioning eyesight + slight experience in PS4 Pro gaming can say that. I'm waiting for the first patch to jump to any conclusions. Going to call bullsh*t on your posts concerning outsourcing ANY patches to small teams in some of the previous posts) Depending on the scale of the project, the time/money cost of such actions can prove virtually impossible. Saying that any small team can improve the 8 year work of 1k+ developers in 2 weeks is incompetent. Other than that, this is Rockstar's magnum opus for now and if they decide to do NOTHING on the PS4 Pro issues our community has reported, I expect nothing less than mass refunds/claims, myself included. The whole article is Strange with a capital S. I've learn't to only pay attention to official R* statements.

  20. Doing chores around camp raises your honor. So far I'm at the first camp, so I'm able to chop wood, place hay bales for horses, move sacks of food to Pearsons wagon and refill the wash basin behind Pearson's wagon. You get some special dialogue from NPCs if they see you doing chores. They appear as small black dots on the minimap when you are close to them.

  21. I'm not saying it's not a great game. It may be my favorite game yet. I'm saying we, as the consumers of video games, have a responsibility to our future selves to point out the things that we don't like -- because if we don't game developers are gonna keep cutting corners and creating undeveloped mechanics. And when the next great game comes around it'll be just as hollow in it's gameplay. I see two types of people in these comments -- those who look at my complaints genuinely and (while they don't agree on everything) see where I'm coming from. And those, who are in the honeymoon phase of the game and can't allow themselves to even consider my point of view. Thats okay. I've spent over 90 hours in this game now. I'm gonna go back at some point and relive the story again. It's just one of those stories I'll never stop loving. That beings said, no one can logically deny that the mechanics aren't sustainable for long term playability. There is NO economy in the game. NPCs don't really talk to you. If you guys look at the "conversation" between Arthur and Tilly that I copy pasted from my game above -- and you think that's acceptable and more than enough... Than I can't take you seriously. Come on people, dream a little. Wouldn't it have been nice to have been able to take camp members out for activities like robbing or drinking? Get to hear conversations between them and Arthur. You CAN'T tell me that wouldn't have improved the gameplay. Almost all of the camp members we love barely get any screen time. We don't interact at all with Sadie for the first half of the game, and we don't talk with Karen for the second half. Tilly has 1 mission. Lenny has maybe 3. All of these characters have such limited screen time... And you guys are okay with that. As if you don't want more.

  22. Happened the second time I got arrested... Not sure if you get to keep them (I really hope you do) but the satchel upgrades are worth it in my opinion. I feel like you need to look at the bigger picture. There's a whole world out there to explore, and tons of things to do. Some aspects are limited, but a lot of the fun comes from just exploring. Edit: Just read the last post IT's fun!!! I agree with some points, but I'm nowhere near done exploring. I think that once EVERYTHING has been explored, a lot of the "unfinished" aspects would seem more complete. You might not understand the mechanics fully until that point.

  23. If you have Gun Oil in your satchel, open your weapon wheel and highlight your desired gun, while highlighted press R3 to "maintain" and your view will focus on your gun where you can move it around, aim, change view and most importantly, clean!

  25. Another good racket is to look for smoke. I ride up to the camp and if one or two people sass off I ride away but if a bunch of O'Driscolls (or other gangs) start mouthing off, it's time to get paid.

  26. Dirty and oily pomade hair with a beard and handlebar stache. Didn't keep the look, though. I cleaned up nicely when I made it to Saint Denis, bought a suit, shaved and trimmed hair.
