You know I don't think I've ever noticed that, but can't deny it. I've died plenty times, but when I think about it, it's often from falling off cliffs or bridges (I should know better but vertigo and short-term memory loss are a dangerous combination) and maybe I've just been lucky in ambushes. This is where I polish my knuckles cos, y'know, *winks...* I can be pretty nifty with a shooter if I'm reasonably sober, it's confidence is my problem, I often start off with a handgun and end up using my sniper rifle cos I've run away screaming "Come and get me! and they haven't. That happens a lot actually.

Video games are just a phase that you will eventually grow out of. (Pac-man was released in 1980.) The younger folks should just be happy that it keeps us off the streets and out of trouble.

Playing with friend is the the main thing keeping me interested in RDO as well. Just trying to have fun doing random things! I'm waiting real patiently for more RDO story...

Please forgive me for a question as the only greek I know is pita bread but..... Why are the 2nd and the 5th symbols on the tree the same but they dont repeat themselves in the greek translation? Bulgar Runic also has several perfect matches but doesnt match them all.

Not much of an update, IMO. Have not been online for a month and don't miss it. At this point in time it does not look like the online version is anything I'll be interested in.

Btw, on the new update, just tried the Gun Rush solo. Not my cup of tea usually, but why not? Full house of 32ish players, good game, won it and got IIRC $60 and 1000-XP, that's a bit of alright 🙂 What made it better was getting a narky message right in the middle of it accusing me of hiding and telling me to sort it out... I did, I won, and he got a message back! 😄

I would actually love to see some traveling merchants. Like maybe a trained butcher who rides around with a wagon that is able to handle meats and what not. It would make it more convenient to have NPCs like this if you are out hunting.

What I don't get are some of these YT personalities that should know better but still let slip racial/derogatory slurs that they then regret, make excuses and have to apologize for. .....especially when they portray themselves as "culturally sensitive". I'm far from being any kind of SJW and I certainly believe a lot of that stuff gets taken too far, folks being too sensitive, etc., but I would never say some of the things these people have said and I think there's no excuse for it. That's not the way I was raised nor the way I would raise my own child.

I can almost guarantee it. You hear it in open chat or lobbies everywhere; prepubescent kids using edgelord language to sound "cool" to an audience of strangers. They are prone to using exploits, hacks, and glitches, simply because they can, and unfortunately, the racist and sexist elements you see online in gaming start with home life more often than not.

No, it's not just you. It's that way for a lot of millenials. Seems rude behavior, insults and that whole "in your face" attitude are not only tolerated but encouraged in some cases over qualities like good sportsmanship. Far cry from the way I was raised but it is what it is. As for talking smack to get in people's heads, a little ribbing is one thing but some folks using racial slurs, profanity laced threats, derogatory remarks about yourself or family members, etc. is another in my book. I mute them, report the more extreme cases and block them.

Although I agree with the topic that lonewolf might be the way to MVP (as there aren't that many team based modes so you are on your own anyway), If at this point I would still be lonewolfing, I wouldn't be playing this game anymore. You are missing out on a lot of fun and also "getting to know" people through the game (partychat). It might not be what you are after, but running around solo gets boring way more quickly compared to a posse with frequently returning players. The only times I go solo is when I grind the hunting grounds for in game currency, for the rest I am always in a 4 to 7 posse. The griefing is more or less the same solo or posse mode, difference being that certain players in posse can start fights without your influence. In any case most serious players focus on efficient grinding (be it xp / gb / usd) and mix it up a bit with fun stuff. Naturally this depends on finding the right posse members. Playing with a posse enhances my gamefun compared to solo play.

This article seems to be the only one I can find that actually tells the whole story. I don't know how accurate the facts are since I haven't seen the videos myself, but that article has a lot of details that no one else is reporting.

Well, that is a load of BS. His ability to just up and move my camp to some random location while I'm off doing something and to comeback and it not be there. That is why I play the game. For example, started in St. Denis. I look on the map and he is over by Tumbleweed. So I grab my horse and hunt all the way to Tumbleweed. Get to the marker and my camp is nowhere in sight. Look on the map and that bastard had moved it over by St. Denis. So I farm my way back and the thoughtful gent moved it back. I just quit trying after that. Moral of the story, it wouldn't have happened without him looking out for me during those trying times

I like that they have you buy this as a perk feature. It isn't necessary per se but it just adds a cool little "realism" to the game for me.

Hey bud we have found a way to have the server all to yourself. Simply start a teddy Brown mission and don't follow Harley up the trail. He will stay put untill you return to him. Freeing you up to hunt , fish . pick herbs , or whatever you fancy for as long as you like ! You need everyone on the same tactic thoe. If not your cup of tea join us at western avengers posse or ghostly guns posse. We play on est time. Ps4. Carry on good sir !
