  1. Agreed! I worked at GameStop over Christmas just as a seasonal employee, and people were coming in with eight and nine year olds buying Red Dead. Even though I explained the language was vulgar, and the online would be even worse with people on mics, they just shrugged their shoulders most of the time and bought the game anyways. I felt like asking them if they wanted a case of beer for the kids to go with it?

  2. I immediately report users like this for disruptive behavior and then block them. Knock on wood but I've been lucky so far in being able to do this before they log off. Personally, I would also submit feedback on the R* website. IMO, this is something beyond the normal griefing issue given that people using these kinds of hit & run tactics could certainly make things worse over time. Even with the anti-griefing mechanics R* has talked about implementing, I could see something like this being used to escape consequences if this exploit isn't taken into account when they implement them.

  3. @ItsTreesAndDen I mentioned Annie Oakley to you want evening and did not realize that her renown had not found its way around the world. This short bio does not do her justice but is offered for you as a start: Annie Oakley (born Phoebe Ann Mosey; August 13, 1860 – November 3, 1926) was an American sharpshooter and exhibition shooter. Her talent first came to light when atage 15 she won a shooting match against traveling-show marksman Frank E. Butler, whom she later married.

  4. Could be that they are jumping lobbies to avoid retaliation for their griefing.

  6. Hey Guys, Many thanks for your replies. I checked over my controller again and the L2 button is ever so slightly sticking, making L2 is always pushed in, you can hardly notice it! Good news is it's a simple problem, and nothing to do with the game, bad news is I probably now need a new controller! Anyway, thanks again. Jimjamjammy

  7. RDR2 is set in 1899, RDR is set in 1911. RDO is set just before or during the early events of RDR2.

  8. Ah, cheers Ozy. Dunno how I missed J Stone in my searches. I've subscribed now and will watch a couple after this post. And yes, hopefully I'll be on tonight to join in the fun and grind. Trouble is I've just finished fixing and setting up a laptop for a near-blind friend and he's on his way bearing drinks as payment. It's only 11:30am! And I still have a mild hangover from yesterdays rum...and me, a man of sobriety! 🧐 It seems a lot of my friends like to turn up with drink lately. There's a few who have long since ceased to game but have been blown away by RDO. And I've not really mentioned story mode yet!!! Their heads will fall off. But that exploit, Chris. Looks all sorts of crazy, don't it! Shame we can't craft acid, it'd look like that scene from Indiana Jones. Ouch!

  9. Very nice topic! Heres my little backround story: Little Chapawee, means little beaver. Born in 1876, she belongs to the last generations of Sioux who grew up in freedom. Her year of birth was the year of the battle at Little Bighorn, so when her life began, her tribes great times already had been over. In the age of 14, she lost most of her relatives to the massacre called Wounded Knee. The white men brought her to a catholic boarding school, so she learned writing and reading in English. But she didnt stay there for long. She never understood the double standards of these people who had murdered most of her family, so she flew from them one night. Since that day, shes on her own in the wilderness...

  11. I broke down and bought a PS4 to go with my Xbox. First thing I did was get God of War and I'll get The Show when it comes out. I'm about 10-12% done and this game is AMAZING. Everything I read about it is true, really worth buying the console. I'll get more PS4 exclusives as time goes on.

  13. I wasnt crazy about the Guarma trip. It kind of killed the western vibe and felt like I was playing any version of Farcry. I would have preferred to have spent that time in Sisika Prison picking up bars of soap off of the shower floor.

  14. The cops are endless in GTA O. And that doesn't stop anything. Players kill themselves on purpose to stop cops from spawning in GTA O. And cops attack players who defend themselves. Its an endless cycle of bullsh*t. Also.. what makes you think R* can code the game to find out whos the instigator? It could be ONE person attacking me, I kill him.. Then his friends start coming at me. So now im blasting them all left and right. Does that mean I need to let his friends shoot me 1st?

  15. I keep hearing raving reviews about it, thinking I'll need to give it a whirl at some point undoubtedly.

  16. Nah, bro, most of that is lean protein (especially the deer), so all you'll do is build muscle. Gotta fatten up on candy, duck, & biscuits.
