You’ll also work with Maggie through a series of story missions to be played solo or cooperatively as you help her get revenge on those who tried to take her down. As you grow the business (and eliminate a rival operation), you’ll learn new recipes and techniques that help make your moonshine the best by a country mile. You'll also have the opportunity to set up your own underground Bar serving your own shine, with customizable décor and the option to add a country band complete with dance floor to entertain your friends and clientele. Yeah, they take a lot of liberties with those kinds of aspects of the game including the reloading mechanics / speed, calibers / ammo, etc. Personally, I think they could have been more realistic in that regard while still finding a balance between weapons fiddling with stats, pros / cons, etc.

I believe this image has a player character with the Navy revolver holstered The LeMat is technically cap and ball, yet in game it uses Revolver Cartridges. I would expect the same for the Navy revolver

Very nice news !! Finally something else to do while online and finally i can spend some gold bars ive been stacking up lately. As much as i would like to put other players business out of work im affraid that its connected to solo/posse missions that will await while progressing the Moonshiner role. As you grow the business (and eliminate a rival operation) So yeah..... but still cool. I feel you there my friend but im 100% sure they will work the same as camps work - unfortunately. Thanks everyone. I think I'll go with the Springfield M1892 (bolt action rifle) since it is currently unlocked and I need a good hunting rifle for my trader role. Nice avatar James!. James Hickok and Doc Holliday are my two favorite gun fighters.

I tried doing this on PC and it didn't work for me either. Tried with a controller and a keyboard. Not sure if there is a functioning bug happening here or what.

Yup, I'm aware I'm not looking down while dodging trees in Annesburg while trying to shot a long gun from a horse. I have enough steering/crashing problems the way it is.

I have avoided the Mausers as I try to be a bit more traditionalist... but maybe I should pick up a couple of Mausers to deal with the odd griefer. I use gunslingers choice and do like laying down the heat when pushed to it.

I used and like the LeMat's until....... Have you ever tried dual Mausers? LeMat is a powerfull revolver but when you get out of bullets it takes too long to reload (again speed matters the most). The reload speed, firing speed and acuracy blows away any revolver in game. Sure i know that revolvers are cool and more wild west style but those Mausers...... dang ! Combined with cards : Focus fire, Winning streak, Gunslinger's choice, Peak condition absolutely destroy. The downside to this is that you run out of ammo quite fast and have to take breaks from pvp to buy/make more ammo. About the shotgun - I only use repeater shotgun (have tried the rest) bcoz it has more power than pump action and one extra shot. I catch myself using it less bcoz i tend to switch to dual mausers when in a close fight. I love em. The salve from hip from those ....... Anyway hope you will try those Mausers

Lol yes I confess I carry a Litchfield as I like the look of it. I realise that it betrays a certain disregard for my own safety. Have never tried the Evans and I do like a repeater (love Jimmy Stewart movies) so maybe should try that. I tend to use two LeMats up close and a rifle further out. I carry a repeating shotgun but it doesn't seem to have much kick to it, so is really just a slow way of working towards a buckle!

Always happy to share. I Always run 2x mausers Bolt action and shotgun or bow for pvp. 2 x mausers, Bolt action, varmint for pve Litchfield has terrible accuracy. I wouldnt recommend using it.

With you there. My in-game character is basically a clone of Doc Holliday. Dirty business doesn't mean that a chap shouldn't make an effort! I'm often to be seen brushing my horse in Valentine when I drop in for supplies and realise that he isn't looking his best. I'll risk a gunfight to maintain the look! Thank you, interesting - I tend to use a Lichfield repeater when I need a higher rate of fire. Would rather only carry one rifle - better for realism - anyway, so will try consigning the Springfield to the weapons locker and try the bolt action as my go to for everything for a while. When you own a Moonshine property, you need protection from other gangs! It's opening new options for Moonshine property protection posses/battles! I'am in🐴👍🤑

When I purchase gold in the Microsoft store, it shows up once I log into the game and the money section comes up in the top right srceen. Gold is located to the right of your money, with tokens showing up to the left of the gold. So it is in the order of tokens, gold, the your money. If it is not showing that you have the gold there after logging into the game, contact Sony's customer service. Once you have logged into the game then logged out, all data should show on your RockStar Social Club profile for Red Dead Online. If the gold amount that you purchased is not there, contact customer service. Note: Gold Bars purchased will not show up in your RockStar Social Club profile until after you have logged into the game after the purchase, then logged out so that game data has been saved.

Interesting, can I ask why you favour the bolt action for combat? I have always been the other way around, I hunt with the bolt action and prefer the stopping power of the Springfield for combat. This thread has me thinking that I have been doing it wrong!

Once I got used to the rifle and learned the best shot for each animal, my chances of getting perfect pelts went up by a huge margin.

Yeah I know, figured as much from the video. The thing is, both the fire button and the melee button perform the tackle, at least for me, playing with mouse and keyboard. Actually i almost piss my pants laughing when im doing Bolas > kick > Lasso bondage > hammer to death. Everytime ! Give this man a beer !

Both rifles are OK to obtain perfect pelt ofc if you dint miss the kill spot. I personally prefer the bolt action and imo its the best weapon in game. Sometimes i use Springfield bcoz it sounds nice or if im too lazy to aim for head in bounty missions - it has more power and a body shot kills the enemy. Peak condition and horseman + focus fire boosts the dmg nicely for those kind of missions. Before the "summer" update i used Lancaster for pvp but aftert the changes made to weapon reload times and body shots power i use only bolt action in Pvp as far as rifles go. It will be hard to top that weapon in next updates.

I need the Springfield in pvp. (Because I'm stupid) Why? Because it automatically Chambers the next round. And in pvp I usually forget to cycle the bolt action manually in the heat of the moment. Got this great shot lined up, and.......doh!

It is going to be $59.99 like all other AAA titles. That is for the basic version of the game. Not sure how much the upgraded versions will be. Probably $80 and $100.

I'm guessing about a week. I would reply, then have to wait several day's for a reply. If they get the game fixed and I can run it on my gaming laptop, I would consider purchasing it a second time!. I don't like taking this road, but with so many of these company's releasing games that are playable on consoles with their bugs on release date, only to release a PC port with bugs that are completely unplayable, is not fair to the consumers. To be honest, it is one of the things that has left a sour taste in my mouth in regards to PC gaming, and is why I still prefer console gaming. In any event, I feel bad about having to be like this towards RockStar games, but I have to be tuff with them because I love the work they do and the games they produce so much. I am so sorry to hear this. I think your best bet at this point is to try and get the refund from your bank or credit card company.

Sounds fun. I sure hope they fix the connection issues so that I can actually play it. Ever since I swapped out my rented cable modem/router for one I own, I can't play without getting disconnected from Rockstars servers every few minutes. I've tried all the tricks I've read about online to remedy it, but nothing has worked. I don't have this issue with other online games and I'm NOT going back to a rented one! I've stopped playing because of this and it's a shame. This is my favorite online game.
