They're scattered all over the map, you won't be able to complete these until the epilogue. i don't see any way to find them all unless you use a map or video as reference, some of them are hidden quite well. There are no hints, the first couple i found i discovered while looking for herbs. when you eagle eye and are in range of one it will have a glitter affect above it like the legendary animal tracking items.

shouldn't need to. tap left on the D-pad and it will show what missions you have in progress etc. what was the last mission you did? i'm guessing you didn't fully complete it, you need to travel somewhere to talk to someone and get credit.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Soundtrack on VINYL?
Kormath replied to ComplexPsyche's question in Questions & Answers
This is a question forum, and an unofficial fan forum. personally i think it's a waste of time, just like the RDR one was. -
Nope, no limit, the'll keep coming endlessly in groups of 3 at first, then 4, then more as your bounty grows. If you wore the mask and weren't recognized they'll just keep coming in groups of 3 until you die or leave the area.

they were abused by the Murfree Brood, but they run and handle just like any other horse of their type.

Barely Anyone Is Finishing Red Dead Redemption 2
Kormath replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
agreed. i think they came out with Online too early. I finished the story, working on the epilogue now, but i need cash so i'm grinding away instead of doing missions to finish the epilogue. Once i get the cash built up for what i want i'll "finish the game". -
Horseman 9 is my most hated challenge so far. Damn puddles in the route i was taking, so i found a new route online. It works, but then right when i get just north of the ranch outside Blackwater, friggin cougar shows up and 3 times in a row my horse (El Stupido Dos, since the original El Stupido was Arthur's) runs into a boulder and i go flying when the camera pans to the side to show the cougar. And now it just dawns on me i can do this in the daytime since i'm not running the tracks most of the way there. Only thing to worry about is the long bridge over the Dakota river southeast of Strawberry.

8 isn't hard. there's a recent post in here how to use the tunnel to loot everyone in a train. try that out just don't kill them until after you rob them
-
that's an easy one. Cold. you can always layer up and get warm. One of my favorite winter activities growin up was hiking into the mountains and building a snow cave to camp in. I was just talking about this with a co-worker, we have an office in Minneapolis, one of the guys there says it's so cold his neighbors are throwing water out the doorway and most of it is frozen before it hits the ground. I remember one year we went camping in mid January. Dug out a snow cave to sleep in and setup up camp then the next day hiked up to the summit between the peaks of the mountains we were on and found a tree that had split open from the cold spell we had then. Heat I can't do. You can only remove so much to cool off. and if it hits 95-100 F then forget it, i'm worthless. drop my ass in front of an AC vent and leave me there

Bandit 7 is simple, 250 in any state. my highest so far was 4500ish, i had 1500 in leymone, new hanover, and west elizabeth give or take a few. I'd have had more but Roanoke was DoA.

I didn't get a marker for it either.

i never found a way to get that box either during hte mission. Dynamite didn't knock it out of the cupboard, i think it's just glitched.

Where's the BIG money?? (Story mode)
Kormath replied to Cokeyskunk's question in Questions & Answers
only time i've had issues with cash is the very beginning, and the epilogue, back to the hunting grind to get a better horse for John than the one he's given. -
i did this once, and if i recall how i did it correctly, I used the stable in Valentine. I hitched my horse at the hotel, then walked over to the stables and saddled another

Red Dead Redemption 2 Tips For Beginners
Kormath replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Nope, they'll follow you anytime you board a train. ticket or jumping on the cars. I've never whistled for the horse to follow and it always has. Just don't jump on a train at Baccus Station, the horse will follow you and run right off the cliff to the west of the station. had that happen way back when I was in chapter 2 after getting the legendary Arabian, then i did it again just before the epilogue. Figured she wanted to go there once, might as well finish her off that way again I forgot about the tunnel, you're right, i only went in there once a while back, i remember having to run out to get the horse. -
Nice! might have to try that, i just ordered myself a ninja blender. Speaking of nerds, one of the fast food joints i frequented before i moved here (so this would be about 10 years ago) had nerds in one of their drinks. My son and i went there every day after work until they ended that special. Sonic Drive In i'm thinking it was?

This the one you steal the oil wagon for the Eagle Flies or whatever the chief's son is?
-
agreed. Latest thing i thought was overrated was Buell. clunky standard horse, nothing special. Fox Trotter and Arabians are better.

Online is still in beta. New Austin is a whole open map they can do anything (almost) they want with. I thought it was fun to ride around and remember things from RDR. i don't recall the small lake in the south though, is that new?

Finally finished herbalist. Updated 10 with the meat list. Found the RDR2 guide here somewhere is wrong, you can't use herptile, game bird, or stringy meat. You can't season them. And it does count game and big game as 2 different meats.

Thousands gathered in the Saint Denis cemetery this weekend past to pay respects to the fallen Police Officers of Saint Denis. After putting together witness recounts and evidence recovered at the scene we’ve learned that the notorious outlaw Arthur Morgan arrived in Saint Denis early Saturday morning. He conducted business with the Trapper and Fence, then went into the Saint Denis gunsmith where an 18 hour standoff ensued and a staggering number of officers were killed. Eye witnesses near the Trapper and Fence recount “he looked sick, pale and unsteady on his feet”, another stated “he was coughing a bit, and somewhat irritable at a feller that asked if he was okay”. An eye witness at the gunsmith told one reporter “He wasn’t happy looking when he went into the gunsmith. He ran from his horse into the shop, throwing the doors open. I ducked my head down below the window, I didn’t want to be seen. I could hear him talking to the gunsmith. The gunsmith said something about keeping his weapon clean. It escalated from there. More shouting, I covered my ears, and then through my hands I heard a shotgun blast. We all screamed and ran.” The last witness recounting of the incident is thus; “I was walking along, heading past the gunsmith on the opposite side of the street and heard a gunshot. I ran to the opening in the fence beside me and hid there behind the stone base of the fence. After that first gunshot I heard police whistles and thought to myself ‘oh good, they’ll handle it’. But I stayed hidden, i was too scared to move so as i didn't get shot too. The police were yelling at someone in the gunsmith, then more shots rang out, then it got quiet, really quiet. A minute or so later I hear running footsteps going into the gunsmith and more shooting. Then it got really quiet again. That scary quiet like when there’s a bear near you in the woods. So I peaked over the stone base of the fence and saw all these dead policemen. I panicked and ran, I’ve never been so scared in my life!” Our evidence collaborates their stories. On that tragic morning Arthur Morgan argued with the gunsmith, then shot the gunsmith in the head with his shotgun. Police were notified and in their haste they rushed into the gunsmith only to be shot dead in the doorway. It is believed Mr. Morgan hid in the back of the gunsmith, using the wall as cover, shooting anyone that ran in or in front of the doors. It’s believed he was waiting for more police to arrive. This stand off lasted about 18 hours. At approximately 2am Mr. Morgan gunned down the officers at the doorway, then ran off down an alley. He had a horse waiting and fled through the streets and alleys. Officers chased him, and killed his horse we believe was named Buell, as that name was stamped on the bridle's nose strap. Mr. Morgan then shot an innocent rider in the head, stole his horse and fled through the fields into the swamp, escaping the pursuing officers. A 3 day manhunt in the swamp turned up nothing, but 2 squads of dead officers. Mr. Morgan must have heard them, and then hid in cover and picked them off. All officers in both squads were shot in the head. Evidence collected counts the dead as follows – 208 Saint Denis police officers, Ms. Pergot, an innocent who must have ran passed the opened gunsmith and was shot, Mr. Samuels, the unfortunate victim riding his horse in the wrong place and time, and Mr. Morgan's horse Buell. Investigators have recovered 240 spent shotgun shells in the back of the gunsmith, and 30 revolver casings.

Same, however i hate going to a restaurant and spending good money on a steak then gagging on the propane aftertaste. I use propane myself, and never get that propane flavor. There has to be something wrong with the restaurant (outback steakhouse for one) when you get that overpowering propane taste. Last time i went there i returned my steak twice then told them not to bother with the third one, just bring my bill. they charged me for all 3 steaks. after a nice discussion with the manager and the waiter i had they wanted to give me a free meal. Seriously, they wanted me to return and eat their garbage again. Just to get out of there i accepted and gave the free meal to a co-worker.

I really liked hte madden where you built your player and used him in the games. Haven't been a fan of madden since they took that away, especially now that they're pushing the online mode and fantasy mode more. It has too much fluff now.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Tips For Beginners
Kormath replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
You don't need to, they follow automagically and will even run off the edge of a cliff trying to stay with the train.... -
Guessing your playing the story mode and not online? 3rd map of that hunt wouldn't put you in a Wanted DoA area, so you most likely have a bounty from another crime and those are bounty hunters. Visit a post office and pay your bounties. Alternatively watch your minimap, when they get close you'll see a red section on the edge of the mini map. Stop, get off your horse, make sure you have no weapons drawn (select the fist in the weapon wheel), wait for them to approach, target one with LT/L2 then choose the surrender option. Y on xbox think that's Triangle on PS. You can surrender and they'll take all your money, or 80% of your bounty if you have enough to cover it. At the chuckwagon, Pearson operates it. leave the kills on your horse, walk to the small table beside the wagon and use the tooltips in the bottom right corner to interact. by default your main hand weapon is drawn when you just tap R1/RB, if you want to draw a different weapon hold the button to open the weapon wheel, use the right stick to highlight the weapon, then release the R1/RB to select that weapon. Or you can move to your main hand weapon and use L2/LT or R2/RT to cycle through what's available. you'll have to do that and change your off hand weapon if you want it in your main hand slot.
