  1. Love these ideas. I wouldn't have even considered them. I like the regenerating bit for online. For the story, it can be a one-time thing be it part of a mission or just an accidental explosion while exploring an abandoned mine.
  2. It is always an option given that other games have done it but more so with zombies... I am not sure they would actually have straight up cannibals in the game.
  3. Well we did see a few delays so for all we know, they may have added this in which I would be fine with. I like the idea of having different weight glasses. It adds a bit to the game for me. They would have to size everything else as well like the clothing and what not but still.
  4. Basically what I said. I am sure they will pump out some ads for it in the future but they likely learned their lesson with wasting all that money on ads for the original release season.
  5. I guess for me, the worst case would be online is too easy. Like they have to dumb it down or something for more casual fans. It should be an even playing ground and if you suck, play more and getter better at it.
  6. Google is a friend of mine... https://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-game-release-dates-of-2018-red-dead-2-battlefi/1100-6455204/ Only going to be Battlefield V and CoD that month. RDR2 is looking spiffy.
  7. Yeah something like that. I don't think the exact year matters. As for the OP, I think Arthur will turn. I think him and John end up working together at some point and maybe John screws him over to look out for his family.
  8. You said the same thing Benjo did without as much detail lol A lot of people think this way too. I really don't know what other direction they would go if they did change it. Would probably be too risky though. Then again, Rockstar is not afraid of risks so who knows.
  9. It depends. If they are unbranded items, there is a chance they are decent but complete knockoffs are likely to be garbage.
  10. THE ROCKSTAR GODS HAVE LISTENED! I am not sure what point John enters the story but it would seem that he will be in a good portion of it from the look of things in the new trailer.
  11. I don't think it matters for people who were fans of RDR. You are going to want to play the storyline of this new one and the online won't make or break the game. I can see it being an issue for new fans. Maybe if they see a strong online game, they may be more inclined to buy but I really don't know. I don't care. I know I will be buying RDR2 and enjoying it.
  12. You were the closest. In the new trailer, they said 1899. I am not sure how I feel about it just yet but I am excited to see what they make of the story.
  13. Well, seeing Marston... I somewhat screamed like a gitty little school girl. I am hyped!! I guess we get to see him become a bad guy then?
  14. This is what I was telling someone on another forum. If you are going to have John in the story, have him be in the story! Don't just feed us like 10 minutes of story and that be it.
  15. Somewhere around 35 to 40 hours I would imagine. Most games feel a lot longer than they are because people take their time to do things outside of the main story like side missions and exploring. I would venture to guess that is part of Rockstar's success with games like this.
  16. Anyone who I talk to anymore says a major selling point to a game is how good their online options are. So having a solid multiplayer behind a great campaign is a winning combination. Games like Call of Duty have had horrible campaigns but still managed to make sales because people were buying that game just to play it online. Even if RDR2 tanks for the online end, it will still sell because the story it tells will be amazing.
  17. I think you are very close if not spot on given the evidence in the trailers and the history of the last game. I am fine with this but I would love to see them do another RDR game in the future that goes back further. Maybe back to the early 1800's.
  18. Most player will play online. Like mentioned above, a lot of people will be coming from GTA V just for the online aspect alone.
  19. I view it as a problem. It isn't a problem that has suddenly just started either. School violence has been getting worse since the 80's. I am at the point where if/when I have kids, they will most definitely be homeschooled.
  20. I was thinking back and that is one thing I was surprised we didn't see more of in RDR. There was one main mission to steal the machine gun from the mine but that is the only one I can recall ever doing. Do you guys think we will see more action and missions in mines given that there are what seem to be more mountains and a larger landscape in RDR2?
  21. They will likely get something like a special gun or horse or something I would imagine but like Gh0st said, it will be something they use when they are advertising the game for its release.
  22. I haven't heard about this but I assumed this was the direction they were going since LA Noire was released on the Switch. Maybe we will see it come out on the Switch in 2019 and games here on after like Bully 2 will just come out on all 3.
  23. That is something I would like to see online. I would actually prefer to be an Indian over a Cowboy since you plat as one for the campaign end of the game.
  24. Yeah online time skipping would just not make sense. They could have it where you get so drink you "die" or end up needing medical help. So like you get taken where you would had someone shot you and you died.
  25. I am in favor of it. This isn't about racism or religion but protection. A majority of these people (though not all of them) are in favor of treating women like absolute dog shit and I am not okay with that. I also have a gay brother and they are okay with killing them for being gay so needless to say, no thanks. If they want to come into this country they need to accept westernized civilization.
