Typically (as in the past 4 weeks or so), it's been mid morning hours PST. However, there is no set time nor schedule for future releases. The only one we know for sure right now is the big Spring Update coming sometime in "Spring". The last scheduled update was on the 9th although they did do some event thing and goodies last week on Tues which falls in line with the other updates we have received so far in the last 4 weeks or so.

Yeah, it never made sense to me.

how do you report children playing RDO?
Kean_1 replied to GOFQSPIDERS's question in Questions & Answers
@GOFQSPIDERS, Removed players name due to naming & shaming rules. While it's unfortunate some parents don't monitor their children or the games they play, this is ultimately their problem IMO. Unless it's a situation where I feel it's my duty to intervene (e.g. child safety), I don't tell other parents how to raise their kids IRL and I don't do it in games. However, if you're really concerned, try contacting R* via their Support page and ask what options you have to report such things if at all. -
If I'm not mistaken the pelt should already be at the Trapper.

I think he's got that backwards...... I would have done the same thing. I NEVER approach another player that is fishing, skinning an animal, clearing a gang hideout or otherwise doing other activities where they may be feel vulnerable and uncomfortable with my presence. ....and if I do, I fully expect to be shot at and wouldn't take offense if I were. Why should you be the one taking the risk? That's essentially what he's asking you to do. I wouldn't feel bad in the slightest although I would have explained why I killed him.

No offense but this topic has been hashed out in a number of threads including one that specifically addresses the same question. I believe it is appropriate that I merge your question with that discussion in this case. Most of the typical arguments have all been made already in that thread and folks are welcome to continue the debate if they wish.

I'd chalk it up as an odd experience. You also have the option to report players in-game who are disruptive if you wish. On PS4 you can also block them although whether that actually prevents them from being paired with you again in a session seems to be up for debate (don't know about XB1). If you think someone is using an exploit, hack, etc., you can also submit a video through R* Support (https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/2010103-Texture-problems-on-PS4-PS4-Pro). There are odd things people report around here that other players do. Some are legitimate cheats / exploits and others are simply due to lag or something else. My best advice is to move on. Hopefully this was a one-time sort of deal or at least something that might occur in rare instances for you.

It isn't anymore complicated than this. I play games for the enjoyment. I could really care less about levels and such as I would rather they should simply come naturally through the gameplay. Personally, I've never been one to "grind" a particular mission over and over again, etc. Even if it's not the most efficient way, I prefer to mix it up by doing different activities and such to gain cash or levels. That's exactly why I only reached around lvl 65 before I took a break. I began to find the game too monotonous for my taste. Not much more to unlock or buy (at least those items I wanted) and most of all, I' had already done all of the activities many times over. ....except most of the PvP events which I'm just not in to. I don't mind the grind but when it stops becoming fun, that's when I either call it quits or move on to other games for a while. This has absolutely nothing to do with wanting a way to shortcut the game because that also defeats the purpose IMO. It's the incentives for advancing in the game like this that helps keep me going but again, only so far if the content / gameplay begins to feel stale. "Grinding" in a game can feel rewarding and enjoyable or quite literally like a grind. .....it's when it begins to feel like the latter that I consider taking a break for a while.

I was playing nightly and then when TD2 released, I stopped playing RDO and switched. .....and I will eventually switch back, then stop again and so on. Thing is, just because you stop doesn't mean you have to uninstall or sell the game. Nothing is preventing you from revisiting it again. I do that with some games especially ones like this that evolve.
-
naw... Makes no difference to me. Just messing around. .....unless you want me to. It's your thread.

Feels like Groundhog day or one of my late Mom's long goodbyes. Ok, so long.

Why torture yourself? If the game isn't providing a level of enjoyment for you at this point, then why play? .....simple as that IMO. Find something else to do until the Spring Update, final release, etc. I haven't logged on for weeks even when the explosive ammo became available which now I guess I missed out on. It's not like you're stuck at a job and don't know whether you should stay or look for other employment. It's just a game, right? Move on if you feel like moving on. You can always come back to it. I've done that with GTAO since release. The Spring Update should be around the corner. That may have enough additions to change up the game play to keep you going for a while longer. I know I'll be revisiting the game at that point.
-
If it's not fun for you, take a break. .....I did. I think you already know what's available in the game, right? I got bored doing the same things and quit after level ~65. ......I took a break. I'm playing another game right now. btw, aren't the explosive rounds now unlocked after level 60? That's something to strive for.

....hasn't been back in over a month. I think you're ok.

Yeah.... I heard that about the latest ACs but I was so turned off from the series a couple titles after BF that I dumped the franchise and never looked back. They took steps backwards after BF IMO. Never gave it another chance. There were just too many things that annoyed me in FC5 to enjoy it. The forced capture sequences, drugged visions, lack of weapon variety, flight controls, AI, etc. Another step back IMO in several areas. I did really enjoy GRW from Ubi though especially the coop. In fact, that game had some of the most fun coop play I've experienced in a long time. I hope they come out with a GRW2 or another Ghost Recon game with the same tactical playstyle, damage model with a current time period (nothing "future").

I spent many more hours in The Forest building fortresses and such. I purposely stayed away from YT and other sources that would have gave away things like where to find the chainsaw, etc. It made the game that much more enjoyable when finding such things. I bought FC5 and couldn't have been more disappointed in a game. Honestly, the only other game more disappointing to me in recent memory was No Man's Sky. There were so many things I found wrong about FC5 and the Arcade/editor. I didn't have high hopes but I didn't expect I would be that turned off by a game. I found myself rushing through it so I could finish and uninstall it. Ubi ruined the AC franchise for me after what was a great direction with Black Flag and now the Far Cry series. IMO, FC went downhill after FC2 but at least was still playable and enjoyable for what it was. FC5 was initially exciting but that rapidly faded after seeing some of the AI mechanics, flight controls, weapon balancing, lack of weapon selection, campaign progression / system, lack of endgame content, shallow buddy system, lack of difficulty when playing with a co-op partner, lack of AI (numbers), an Arcade that was nothing like it was pitched (AI were horrible in that), pitiful distance limitations on long range weapons, etc., etc. .....at least that's most of what I can recall. Currently playing TD2 and having fun with that although I'm running into bug issues that are not getting resolved which is frustrating. ......but the game is still fun enough for now at least.

They did mention that these items would make a reappearance from time to time but how often is anyone's guess. Seems they may stick with the weekly rotation though.
-
Yep. As Chris says it's been weekly so far for the last 5 weeks or so. After April 9th however, there is no guaranteed schedule of weekly releases. This last one was a guess but it seems they are continuing that every-Tues release that they started in March. I suspect they will announce further details on the big Spring Update / future plans perhaps this week or next but again, no guarantees.
-
.....we call that trolling.
-
Sorry to see you go. Good luck.
-
They did but the release schedule ended on 4/9 so what was supposed to come after that (and when) is a bit of a mystery.

I'm not so sure although I think this was yet another hit & run post(s) so we may never know.

No one is being "pushed" to spend money on Gold Bars in RDO. Contrary to what some say about the RDO MTX model, it's not P2W. While some things can be shortcut with GB purchases, anything locked behind them is essentially all cosmetic. Everything else that provides an advantage in the game can be obtained without ever having to buy them. They even gave us quite a few GBs for free to spend up to this point. Some folks are still clinging on to them. Sorry, but I really don't get this argument. I don't particularly like them either but then again, I'm not being forced to buy them so I don't. If others do, that's ok too as those MTXs help support the game into the future. No skin off my back.

Along with the in-game reporting feature I would suggest folks use the Support site as well: https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/115001624507?redirect_lang=en_us&_ga=2.1386355.33846405.1555263919-1719606522.1525287356 Better yet, record the action if possible to forward on to the CS staff. Good call.
