In the meantime, a YouTuber I've watched threw a stick of dynamite at one of the Stranger mission givers and after it went boom, the mission Accept worked lol. Otherwise just try loading into another free roam lobby.

This could be after he holds and fires one bullet, releases and holds again for "nothing" is actually ejecting/chambering another round. I find I need to double tap most weapons to fire-chamber, fire-chamber fire-chamber... etc.

Yes, I'd report the people using this exploit. I saw a video on it earlier today and it makes me a bit cranky lol

I went around killing weary travelers and eliminating witnesses to drop my honour into the negative, immediately Samson Finch's missions popped so now I'm back at 100% story completion in Online @The_Liquor caught me doing shady deeds for Mama Watson too lol

I haven't done anything to my game or system since applying update 1.09 last week, and the crashes stopped by Sunday. Today after several hours of playing I finally had my first crash since Saturday evening. I'm going to try clearing my game cache, but that's it.

I think he needs to be the posse leader for him to see his current missions. Once he joins your posse, he only sees what you have available. Have him create a Temporary Posse and invite you.

Same, Kean, I never did anything differently yet and I got a full 2 hours in without a crash

I was playing today and I had been in my friend's Party chat. Often we're not even in the same games but we like to socialize while we play. I went to join a Public Match and I noticed it was greyed out. Then I saw the red text on the left... Huh.

Got my first escort dynamic event a few moments ago, I was curious after reading this thread and I noticed this, 3 identical NPCs standing next to the drop-off point. Beyond the fence there were different NPCs though.

Today when logging on, my Stranger missions were working as intended but I still haven't gotten my next Land of Opportunity Story mission. After logging off for a bit, I did get a reply from Rockstar regarding the mission issue: In regard to the constant CE-34878-0, I haven't had one yet BEFORE I've had the chance to do the above steps, but I did finally get a regular ol' Disconnected from Rockstar servers after a bit better than 2 hours. In other Bugs - I picked up a dead NPC body from inside Smithfields Saloon in Valentine that I assuredly did NOT kill. I was going to move it outside but as soon as I picked it up, there was a Witness and I was essentially framed for murder haha. I was immediately gunned down by the actual killer shortly after. I've got a video: A few moments after I respawned and killed the hostile player, I mounted MY OWN damn horse and there was a Witness to Horse Theft... (whaaat?). I got off and made double sure it was MY horse, and the law started shooting me haha, I had to flee, on my own horse and come back to pay off my crushing 5 cent bounty.

The huge pile of dead, burnt horses is HELLA creepy! Glad I haven't found that yet, but then I haven't been on yet today lol

Speaking of that, every time I try to submit a Bug report through Rockstar Support, it doesn't let me submit it, saying there's an error and to check all the fields and try again. But if I choose a different path, say through Installation/Performance, it goes through. It seems for me, their "Bug report" form isn't working.

So, here's an interesting thing to note... I got the same schpeel from Rockstar advising me to initialize my PS4 including reinstalling system software. Yeah, no thanks. BUT, I totally forgot my setup is probably vastly different from everyone else's. I play the digital copy which is actually installed and running off of my external hard drive, NOT my internal HDD. Never mind the constant crashing, since yesterday evening I can't get any missions or stranger missions to work either so I'm stuck just riding around until my next crash lol. Yes I reported that too.

OK THIS too, I assumed I did all the Honourable missions and needed to lower my honour for the others to appear. like I said in a previous thread EDIT: Yep, this is definitely a bug because across multiple sessions, between crashes, no stranger missions work and no story missions are popping. Guess I need to open my third ticket today

Bumping this in light of the Spring update and to add my latest findings. Just tried to get a stranger mission from Hector, The Boy and Alden back to back. They offered me missions but I couldn't accept them. The Accept prompt stayed greyed out. I did get one finished from the new Stranger in Lagras beforehand though.

Every single time I've played since I updated on Thursday, 4 times today alone. I escalated my support ticket today and I submit the error reports with video/screenshots to Sony on each crash.

I have high honour, so I did: - Bring a Goddamn Posse - The Hanging of Tom Davies I then got a letter from Horley requesting we meet, which lead me to: - Destroyed by Grief: (spoilers hidden below) I'm wondering if there's 2 versions of Destroyed by Grief? (Honorable/Dishonorable) I crashed again before anything else came up.

I managed an hour and 20 minutes before I crashed again. Right after I finished my first Stranger mission from the Aberdeen farmers... 😇 I did Jessica LeClerk's new mission before that without issue.

I just found the appropriate route through the Support form: Red Dead Redemption 2 > PS4 > Installation/Performance > Crashes

Yeah, there's absolutely no way I'm gonna do that. Has anybody spent time in Singleplayer post-update to see if that is affected as well? I want to say it's solely a RDO issue. I messaged a friend on PSN who's been playing RDO lots lately, he hasn't had any crashes, just one or two server disconnects - so not everyone is affected but definitely a sizable number of users.
