On your travels, you may have heard piano players in the saloons playing festive songs as folk across the country merrily indulge in holiday festivities. Be warned, however, that the changing of the seasons often brings harsh weather to the frontier, with snowfall predicted to arrive as soon as tomorrow. Those keen to make preparations for the winter should be advised that even heavier snowfall may also be on the way, so keep the campfire burning and the stewpot simmering.

Simply fire up the Series from the Online Menu to dive in through January 6th.

Real exciting stuff R*. Shame the game is now even more broken than it was before. Spawn into camp but it’s not my camp and is the other side of the world than I should be. New moonshiner event pops up but prevents me from collecting my 3rd heirloom as I’m forced to fast travel to the shack. Event makes me ride all the way to Valentine and when I get there moonshine buyer cannot be freed from revenue agent’s horse so I have to wait for that event to timeout before I can do anything else. And then strong moonshine that was in production totally vanishes. Still no animals of course (3 daily challenges today around killing animals 😂). Complete waste of time, I’m done with the game until I hear it’s fixed.

It just failed to even load into story mode.

That s a good idea. I see certain people getting so frustrated over the game and I just think to myself, why bother?  Report the bugs you guys have and take a break.

.....well, that's what I do when I run into problems or a lull in interest regarding content, etc.  GTAO and RDO are those types of games for me.  Ones I play and then put aside for a while for various reasons.

I'm usually engaged in several different games depending on which friends(s) I hook up with, if I'm solo, my / our mood, etc.

Sad but true. I was having hard time to set the camp. All day disconnects. Cuoldnt start up moonshine delivery mission - problems , problems. I think ill take a break as well coz its very frustrating to play like this.

I'm on a EU located server. Not that many disconnects. Did you empty your cache? That helps sometimes.

Hard to see, I have to refer to the map way more often to see where I am, fewer animals and the ones you do see are hard to hit because of the snow.  Not fun!

The snow the snow has nothing to do with fewer animals- it’s a bug from the moonshiner update .....I’ve had a couple different solo lobbies and the animals are everywhere

Just sucks they only kept the snow for a week ...

They cut it early for GTAO too.

All I know is that certain people here had complained about it so I'm sure they're happy it's gone.  ......but then again, I think some wouldn't be happy regardless.

I really liked the snow.  But I do have a question about it.  We just had what, a week with snow everywhere, snow falling all the time.  But when I go into the Grizzlies, still, it doesn't snow.......it rains.  The temperature is anywhere from 7 to 15 and it rains.  Couldn't Rockstar fix that?

That's been something folks had noticed since the beta.

Try submitting a suggestion through the R* Feedback site. Its obvious the effect exists but why they don't use it in the Grizzlies, I don't know.

yes, now it makes 0 sence why it rains in grizzlies west now that they have showcased to all that they have made snowfall

i wrote a feedback about the issue the first day i saw the winterstorm snowfall. going to do it again for every major update untill they fix this.

And the global snow is back, prolly for a few days only.

Didn't see anything mentioned officially for RDO yet but they did the same thing in GTAO:

The rare Southern San Andreas snowfall phenomenon may have subsided, but forecasters do expect a return just in time to say goodbye to 2019.

try looking for white tarot cards when there is snow.......

if you like the snow, why not just make regular trips to grizzlies west?

I like just having the world looking a little different for a while. Makes it seem a little more alive versus frozen/static.  Also Christmas movies wouldn't always have snow in them if it didn't trigger something in people.

Got snow in both GTA V and RDR2 yesterday and earlier today. I haven't been on either since noon so not sure if it is gone or not. If I am not too tired in a bit, I will hope on.

Honestly, I would have rather had a fireworks show at midnight than to have the snow come back.

The snow was cool.. really cool.. But at this time, i wish they would fix the game, and make the snow continue up north.. instead of the whole map.. THAT would make sence.. RIght now the game feels just as empty, as it did in beta..

No animals, bugs, cheaters, no encounters.. everything is really broken right now.

I hope they will add a massive patch tomorrow, or atleast early next week.. Cause right now, its pretty unplayable/unstable
