106, 60gold, 6k cash.

Dont see any real reason to play anymore as there is no meaningfull progression after you hit 100....

same issue that GTA5o also has, no point in playing after you unlock the mini gun, just start a new toon, but Red dont even have that option.......

I'm level 181 with 201 gold bars.  I currently only have $200 in cash as I am trying to upgrade all the ability cards to level 3.  I'm about two thirds of the way there, and every time I get the money I upgrade one straight away.  Most cash I have had in one go was around $3k as I keep spending it on upgrades.  Once I'm done with the cards I'll be rich.  I still see point in playing as it's fun with posses, and I enjoy even just doing the daily challenges on my own.  It's the cowboy life for me.  Trading, moonshining, collecting in the margins, resupply missions for Cripps and then bounty hunting with a posse keeps it plenty rewarding for me.  If I fancy a change I either move to an entirely different environment on the map or try some of the online modes.  Or just hang around in Valentine until someone wants a melee!!

Level 157, 166 gold & 23k in cash.

Not much to do really.  I only fill up my tradewagon to offer newcommers some easy money now and then, knowing how hard it is to come by some money on low levels

Level 183, 365 gold, $4,500 cash.

I log on a do a few dailies. Since the free roam missions have started working on a consistent basis I have been doing more of those. I’ve been playing RDO since day one (with occasional breaks here and there) and I don’t have every card maxed yet. I’m not one of those players that tries to grind everything at the outset. Just taking it slow so I can maximize the enjoyment of the game.

As of today ...

Level  158 / 208 gold / $28,000 cash ...

I have maxed out all the "roles" but recently have only been doing trader; moonshiner and any "on the road" things that pop up.

Trader/moonshiner deliveries bring in $1k per day. I usually don't even do re-supply runs anymore  .... just pay the $20 ... don't do moonshiner tasks either (usually) unless it is encountered on the road (red alert thingies).

I have noticed some "new" things showing up i have not seen before ... Just a few days ago I rescued a guy from some outlaws and he had a revolver ... he jumped on the back of my horse and fired at the outlaws as they chased us (I noticed that he knocked a couple of them off their horses too).

One moonshiner task I "did" do consisted of picking up a guy at the Blackwater saloon ... but instead of simply walking him to camp ... had to throw him on the back of my horse and deliver him to a house in Manzanita ... go inside and drop him in bed.

It looks like some other things have been improved/fixed as well ... Just the last day or so I noticed that when I go to "stables" to select a horse or vehicle ... there is now a "dismount" selection. It appears this can be used to empty your bounty wagon if needed. In the past if you had bodies in there and you ran out of time (on the bounty) you couldn't get them out ... had to crash the wagon ... I guess now you just use the "dismount" selection to dump them out.

"Tom Dooley" ... that is a good idea ... to invite other players as delivery guards ... They could make some bucks off those $500 trader deliveries. I need to start doing that ... thanks ...

PC [steam] player since Dec 26 & thanx to furlough & lockdown I'm playing between 3 + 4 hours a day these days, currently;-

Lvl 261

79 Tokens

629 Gold Bars

82K $

All 4 roles are maxxed, so now I generally concentrate on Daily Challenges but I ignore, fishing, posse, showdown & most Bounty Hunter dailies & have a 114 day run on challenges

"Jim Deacon" lives on Minty Big Game, chocolate, cigars & Tennessee Whisky & has just reverted back to his first bought horse which is the black American Standardbred [with a Nagodoches], she's called Beauty [horses live on Wild Carrots & his whole stable is Mares] as I wanted him on a black horse but that colour is limited with the endgame horses [& the Kladruber is such an ugly horse], so I've stabled my Criollo for a while until I need that highspeed again!

Loves - Thunderstorms - Night in the desert

Hates - Camp glitches!!

Shelved the game since January and picked it up yesterday again. I only played at about 3-4 hours of it a week, and most of that time was spent messing around with friends. As a result, i'm only level 60 with about 700 dollars to my name and like a handful of gold bars. Trader and Bounty hunter maxed, with collector close behind. Never bothered picking up Moonshiner because my posse leader has it and of the slew of bugs associated with it. I can't tell you how many times I've been stuck in infinite loading screens, turned immortal whilst trying to enter the shack, been stuck in purgatory where the bar is supposed to be, etc.

The drip feed that R* is doing isn't helping me stay. We need a big new update to delve into.

I'm at lvl 90 with 62 bars and $1450

I'm maxed on all but moonshiner. I'm finding it disappointing that I can take out any number of NPC's without dead-eye and hardly needing to take tonics. I liked the fact that in the Witcher, I could have the NPC's level up along with me...forgot if that was a mod or part of the game.

There's much content I haven't gone into. I'm still wearing the one outfit I got when I started the game.

What keeps me coming back to play is the environment of free-roam. The story makes me feel trapped in a movie.

I still find myself taking screen grabs of impressive views and as someone else here mentioned, the thunderstorms are tops. Hunting is still fun though I wish I could silence Cripps as I can recite his lines in my sleep, though I do use them to make my wife laugh.

The possibilities for this game are great and I'm hoping that RDR2 sets a standard for open worlds, though work is needed on human faces.

I've had few problems with bugs. The disappearing camp bug seems to have gone away and very occasionally I will have a hacker fry me, but most of the time I can go an entire session with no problems and the immersion is unmatched. I don't regret the $60 price.

I’m level 200, give it take a level, about 900 gold and roughly 35k.

I have not bought everything under the sun for my character, just what I want here or there.

I do some dailies every day, sometimes a couple, sometimes a lot depending on the challenges.  I ignore pvp challenges, can’t really do posse ones,  I sell stuff for challenges but rarely just for the heck of it.

I hunt for small carcasses or feathers a fair bit between challenges as they have challenges where those come in very handy, same with fishing.  Always good to have certain types of meat in the satchel.

I enjoy the world that exists in the game, I don’t want to grind very hard, I just like being ‘there’.  I find it’s a great way to unwind after work and beats watching reruns on the couch.

Well that is true BUT if you want a "better" pve experience fighting NPC's You should try Legendary Bounties tier 5 (5 star) - there are 9 of them as i recall. They offer a nice skirmish and NPC can one shot you and you cant see them on radar.       Same with Moonshiner missions on hard difficulity.

When i need my mash price go down i stopped doing the moonshiner mission's and have more fun and xp doing a moonshiner story mission on hard difficulity.
