Well, this is me. I'm somewhat over 50, so slower than a lot of other young folks around here. I've been gaming on and off ever since the early days of home computers (anyone remember Pong on the old Atari?) I'm not saying I'm any good at many of the games I played, I just play to enjoy them. I've worked all my life with computers, and I'm currently a software developer for a large UK based software company. Thankfully, I enjoy my job and have a great boss. I live in the south of the UK with my partner and two dogs. I get onto the console when I'm allowed to (that's about 600 hours worth since RDR2 was released...) I used to have a PS1 years ago and played a lot of Doom, until it started making me really really angry. I bought an Xbox 360 solely after watching adverts for Forza Motorsport 3. And then FM4 was release, and then Forza Horizon, FM5, Forza Horizon 2 (you get the picture). I was a moderator on the Forza Motorsports official site, so I've seen some of the best and worse of online gaming. I tend to play in campaign/story mode most of the time - I'm just not quick enough to catch up or compete with the kids online these days. So now I'm here. Being helped by the good folk here, and trying to pay it back when I can. And now some fool goes and makes me a moderator! That's as bad as putting Pearson in charge of food...

I really hope this doesnt mean stats reset 4 everyone in the end. Im talking about that money making glitch that fills the streets with animals in blackwater. Rockstar answers they are aware of this but its kinda worries me this is a game breaking thing

Agreed. However I bet only a small amount of people are reporting these types of glitches the majority exploit them. Any account that has exploited glitches for personal gain should be wiped in my opinion. It’s cheating no way around it

I wouldn't sweat it my man. I've heard of people posting videos of the cougar glitch by Blackwater making almost 20 k from it. Robstar will patch this and possibly drain there $ for it. As you've heard a million times it's still beta and folks coming forward with these exploits only helps Robstar patch those. Its going to get better.

I worry about this too.. I think the best way for them to solve, is to reset the players who exploited this glitch, and wipe their accounts, and not let everyone doing honest work pay for it.

Are we trying to make you leave? No, not that I know of. ....but then again RDR2.org is a fan site which isn't affiliated with R* or 2K. I don't eat or drink or use any tonics and I run a lot things that help lose weight and all i do is gain a lot of weight when ever I fast travel or log of and then back on help me how do I lose weight please tell me

Please ADD ARMY UNIFORMS & TRIBAL OUTFITS in Shops or handmade with materials. Cannot understand why they are NOT in game yet ! Make this great game MORE WESTERN ! ( Maybe also a Red dead SECESSION DLC with kind of a "Flashback" of an older character of the game !! )

They have not patched it... every session ive been in is full of players cheating / spawning animals at the Butcher in blackwater and Valentine too

Not going to lie I did this glitch although I’d hardly call it an exploit I didn’t get any money or xp for it therefore no progression gained. R* wiped it from my account last update so I can pretty much guarantee it will happen to peoples wallets. go on YouTube there are tons of cheat videos. Use at your own risk *Im a lvl 103 I have 32 gold and ohhh a measly 180 bucks. I’m not exploiting.

You seem to have a lot of knowledge on the subject of exploits.

Not that surprising, given how chill everyone is for the most part. I'd expect most of the forum users here skew towards the more "experienced" end of the spectrum.

Not going to lie, I'm looking forward to "Fat Bropollo Creed" online tonight. I'm going to eat like, 15 steaks and 8 cans of beans. Then I'm going to wash it down with a stick of butter. Oh, sticks of butter aren't a thing online? I guess I'l have to settle for whiskey at the saloon. I was sick of my character looking like he was strung out on meth. Bring on the fat!

I honestly haven’t noticed much difference. Then again, I tend to shoot every critter in sight, including entire herds of deer and antelope. I don’t worry as much about quality, I’d much rather have a huge stack of poor pelts and satchels maxes out with meat and tusks and antlers etc... with as many small whole birds as I can get my sights on to break down later at the butcher... To me at least, completely devastating the local ecosystem seems the most profitable way to go about things.

I personally only worry about the rings rather than the core while in a big gun fight cuz you could easily die as soon as you eat something. I am curious as to if using tonics is like eating/drinking. Also resting in camp helps too if you don't want to eat to fill the core but need it filled.

R* should at least gift us free sweatpants if they're not going to fix it.

Howdy partner , the night of the update we got targeted by a posse from hell ! All 7 we're 135 or higher in level all had explosive rounds. Well we fought a good fight but got our asses handed to us lol. Point being after being shot we would eat treated big game meat to replenish cores. After the battle we all looked like we were in a Santa contest ! I have eaten nothing but fruit since. Let those cores stay barly covering the bottom. It took 3 days but my weight is average again. Hope this helps

Ah Rodger that. And may I commend you on your cash reserve's. Quite impressive my fellow gunslinger. Its hard to keep cash with price of upgrading cards and what not. Well done

All anyone can do is just wait and see how things shape up. It just seems no one has any patience and takes everything that comes out as some kind of personal slight. I like to think that it’ll eventually shape up to be a decent game, it already is if you ask me, though it does need tweaking. As for content, it’ll come and with every new thing that comes along there will be bloggers, youtubers and message board complainers ranting on all about how each thing ranges from being a worthless upgrade to a game ruining disaster.

That’s the thing... I don’t imagine anyone with an actual stake in the game (financially) is expecting it to take off and outpace another, already established game. They’re betting on the long term success and likely knew it wouldn’t be raking in piles of cash while it’s in the beta phase, or likely even or the first little while after the full release. It seems to be the bloggers and the YouTubers spreading all the doom and gloom. But they need their click bait to keep views on their channels up, or they might have to get real jobs and stop playing video games all day every day lol.

Kill player challenges are in PvP bro. But yea most blue dots are care free now. We had our posse leader crash horses on a tight turn with another posse leader, both posses had 7 riders tention was high but me telling stand down it was an accident. No one drew there guns and it ended in a good laugh. Much calmer since update. I haven't got to shoot a grieve in days ! Lol

I don't know why people expect a ton of money being generated by a "beta" game that's only 3 -4 months old.

The people I always play with don't even accept assassination missions...we just move on to the next stranger. Assassination missions aren't even worth the time they take to do.

By following the red glow or looking on the actual map. That's what my posse leader will do is stand and direct us since we can't pinpoint you on the mini map. And I feel it's rather... unsavory all the people I see glitching off the map so they can't be hit. As far as why you get targeted, it's random person who's closest. Doesn't matter your honor or bounty. If it did that'd be nice, but as it isn't oh well. Again it's not really griefing if it's a mechanic of the game. You play knowing there's free roam pvp. Not everyone likes structured pvp.

Ohh yea, I completely agree wth this! Would love to see military uniforms in rdr2 online that can be bought and weared. Would be super cool!

Inbetween "Veterans homestead" and the "Wapiti reservation" I found "Witches Cauldron" a small shrine like place, with a strange liquid brewing in it. I drank from it, hoping it may be "The cure" ... I don't know what it did, if anything. I'm midway through chapter 6, so I thought what could it hurt. Anyway, just wanted to mention it. I've not bothered looking it up to see what anyone's said about it. ... back to gaming.

if you got all the legendary fish with Arthur you broke it. Not sure what to do to get the invite, mine glitched and i haven't bothered to go back restore my game to fix it.

I can check the box for "ignored youtube" i hate youtube. I didn't read the guide or online guides for any of the missions, i used online guides for the extra stuff, dino bone locations, hunting spots, etc.

I am interested do you guys also play GTA my aim is to find a damn good mil sim who play RDR2 and GTA but its impossible so far

I don't think we have to pay to do the Daily Challenges. You simply choose the ones you want to do and try to achieve them. You do not have to do all of them to earn the reward. I believe you get 200xp for each one and some gold nuggets. Some are so easy that I've completed them without even remembering they were challenges (i.e. skin 2 herons). If anything, I think R* has added more ways for us to earn XP. Maybe I'm not understanding the issue you're speaking of, though?

True story: my father is a HUGE fan of westerns. His streaming queue is full of them on all the services he uses. One night, my wife and I went out to dinner and he and my mom watched my kids. After the kids went to bed, he started watching BT. I got home halfway through the movie, and, knowing what was coming, advised my mother to stop watching. She ignored me, and you can imagine how that ended... Edit: I find the lack of Blazing Saddles on this thread disturbing.

I love the dailys! - I do them almost every day, to gain the "almost" free xp. What i dont like, is when you have to kill another player, how is that gonna solve the massive griefing / troll matter, that we all adressed several times? However, when there is not a "Kill another player" in the dailys, the map is filled with blue lovely dots, and people seem to care only about themself. (GOOD)
