I ride, I shoot and skin animals getting myself all bloody. I get shot-up, making me bloody. I wander through everything from bear schitt to pig poop. I'm a cowboy, riding the countryside doing my thing in an incredible, immersive RPG. That's my role. I laugh aloud when I see guys riding around with plumed 3 Musketeers-like hats, silk vests, wacky shirts and shoes, windowpane patterned pants. And they walk around St. Denis and everywhere else like that wearing outfits I would not wear inside of a blind person's house during a moonless night's power outage. If it's fits you, I love you guys for it--because I love a good laugh during my gaming time. I've even thought of starting a posse called THE RODEO CLOWNS or FASHION NIGHTMARES requiring members to wear the most hideous combinations of stuff available at the tailor shop. I admit I hate getting shot by anyone dressed like that. But if you are going to die, why not die laughing.

Hey all, Updated my map again with more stuff. Since this is my 3rd post of my map. This will be called Red Dead Online Map v3. I've never release my maps to the public before. so I'm trying to make it look nice and easy to read for others. Dragon's RED DEAD ONLINE MAP V3 UPDATES: 05/28/19 - Found / Added Gang hideout West of Armadillo - Removed the Shack South of S in Meadows / North of Catfish Jackson's House (Shack is now a Stranger Mission & unable to get the items) - Added all the fish locations. I found fish locations map online, that I've used. Tested the fishing spot the past few day and so far most are still good. Haven't tested all the spots. - Added Roads (Thanks, Tom Dooley for posting the Interactive map. I didn't know about this) I've copy & paste the roads to my map. Since my map & the interactive map use the exact same map image. - Added few more animal locations for daily challenges. Yeah ps4 is a 150mb so I don't know about a 90gb update on Xbox Usually the database on these games are server based but I can't honestly answer that question . I would wait for R* support.

I have to figure that a character redo would make sense given it was added to GTAO. ....and of course, if they offer it at a price at a tidy sum of in-game cash or gold bars, it may be another excuse for some folks to buy/spend.

First and foremost welcome to the forum @bakondude96 You can fully restore your core by eating various types of foods or you can take the medicine that you can purchase inside of the general store. Core drains naturally and automatically no matter what you do, you can honestly just stare at the sunset and the cores will drain. This is something you have to keep an eye out on when playing the game. Provisions are for cores, while tonics are for rings. If you contain the rings at a reasonable level, the longer the cores will last. When you die, it takes a tole on your core because that's how the game works. If you kept a full core after every death, then what's the point of provisions and tonics when you can just die to get a full core again? Hope this helps. Regards

Lol. I’ve only encountered one whole posse that came after me... I literally stood in the middle of a st. Denis green space with my LeMats out and gunned them down as they ran at me until they started asking for a truce. (Not that I’m good, but they just sucked that much). usually I get trouble with the lone player.

I personally believe if you are going to start a fight, you should stay to finish it. That includes myself if I accidentally strangle or shoot another player because the buttons are a little cumbersome (not that I won’t fight back if you come at me, but I won’t press it further after I back off and announce my oops on the mic I always have on). Now if you don’t want to be relentlessly harassed by a player willing to fight back, then don’t start trouble... personally, I’ll annoy you even if I suck too much to get the upper hand on the kill count. In my eyes, it keeps you from pissing off someone else for a while at the least.

If someone wants to go around trolling and grieving others, what do I care If they are run out of the session by one of their victim(s). In fact, I applaud it. If someone likes to think of themselves as a type of lawman for doing it, Im perfectly fine with that because in my eyes (in a way) they are.

Exactly, it's surprising and kind of frustrating to me that you had to explain your comment. I agree with OGTKCole and McLawDiz, if someone starts on you for no reason you have every right to go after that person. If I killed someone for no reason I would have no issue with that person hunting me down for as long as they like, don't kill other players if you don't like being killed yourself. So many of the RDO players I run across play Freeroam as if it were a Battle Royale game or another type of game that involves permadeath, they shoot you first chance they get and never expect you to come back and do the same to them. I personally don't get annoyed when someone shoots me for no reason, I get annoyed when that person then does everything in their power to avoid fighting me.

There are a variety of issues folks are experiencing after the last update.

In the lawless west as the population moved onto new territory ahead of civilized law some people stepped up and took care of the bad guys. Those people were prime candidates to become Sheriffs, Marshals and Judges. That is how it worked in the old west. RDO is the equivalent of the lawless west. Yes there is NPC Law, but it is very weak. Players that take on grievers, pelt/carcass thieves, horse thieves and all the other uncivilized players recreate the way it was and become the Law.

Yes, he has been reported to everyone who should be concerned. The response I got back was that I needed to provide physical proof. Seeing how this was through chat, it's hard to provide the proof that they wanted.

R* purposely throttles in game pay outs on missions based on time spent. Far as I see it, people who exploit an already exploitive system are just balancing things out. So no.. we don't need a roll back. Nor do we need penalties. You may not mind losing a few thousand dollars, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE should be punished including those who didn't participate in the duping/payouts. Besides its only cheating if its pvp related. Cheating money is only cheating against the system R* forced onto players. R* needs to change things to be flat pay rates...not time spent. Why the hell do players get less money for finishing missions too fast? Instead players have to sit there with their thumbs up their ass for 15 mins to get full payouts.

I am assuming you tried to continue the story and were dumped in free roam? The obvious difference is free roam vs Land of Opportunities is in free roam in the world you are doing whatever you want, the Land of opportunities missions are the story missions you need to complete. You may need to change your honor level to see the remainder of the story missions, so if you are a low honor player then you need to raise it, and the opposite is true, so if this is what you are referring to, then you should be able to adjust your honor either with gold bars or buy earning your honor up or down, then the story missions will continue for you. If this isnt what you mean then I apologize.

Here are 4 screenshots from my first couple of weeks playing. There were all originally saved through PS4's Share function to my FB. Then I DL'd my FB images and uploaded them here. I don't know how much image degradation is occurring, if any, from doing the above. I forget which file formats were used. The last 2 compare a non HDR screenshot (3rd picture) and a HDR screenshot (4th pitcture). The comparison between the 2 looks pretty close to how it looks on my HDR TV. RDR2 has a known issue with it not properly displaying HDR content on the PS4/PS4PRO. I imagine it will be fixed in a future patch. But all these images look about the same, or close, to how they look on my TV. Furthermore, I don't know if you can take a proper screenshot of a HDR image. For since it's a 10 bit image, then the SS is going to need to be 10 bit too. And you'll need a 10 bit panel to be able to see it correctly.
