the best way is to pull out your gun , and hold L2 ( aim ) and the wagon will drive it self , as long as you do not touch the left joystick ( that jpystick move the horse ) u can release l2 to shoot but repress it fast , i can protect my wagon very easily that way and the horse drive so good that even in moonshiner delivery i dont break a bottle2 points

RDO is now vegan friendly All I know is until they fix this bug/Nerf I'm taking out the dairy cows and beating the Java chickens with a hammer daily as a sign of protest. It's so bad that I believe some dude stole my perfect cow pelt off the back of my horse while I was clearing a hideout (and the only reason I didn't torch him and his 2 man posse is because I'm not sure and have had a couple of large pelts disappear bug happening again)2 points

@Santa is listening folks ! No more posse infighting untill they fix this glitch. You rock santa !!2 points

Yes I'm with you. I keep hoping that if we all upgrade our bars then at some point they will add content which brings an income or something. I do like the new guns, I now wield twin navies when moonshining, they feel quicker than my LeMats. Got my first glitches last night, though - I twice lost 20 bottle deliveries as when I started the mission it just left me hanging on a black screen with an egg timer so I had to crash out. Thing is, the rewards are so poor anyway that it didn't hurt that much. I'm only lvl 3 (lvl 20 for the other professions, 130 overall), so my run would only be worth $72.50. I spent $60 on mash and some fast travel getting there, so really it's just a rank grind. I forget how much xp I got for delivering a load successfully, but I got 130xp just for mixing it so I figure I'm not in it for the money at this point. Glitches are frustrating, though. And the Lem mission was brilliant fun. So I'm with you on the 3/5 but with a dose of optimism for the future on top.2 points

So, the update has a lot of potential, but for me the past two days have been some of the worst since I started playing back in 3/2018 Moonshine sales missions hang on black screens forcing me to restart and then loosing all my moonshine that I paid to make and the 60 minutes it took to produce. But the larger problem is I cant run my trader business, I cant do daily challenges that require anything from animals like skin an egret or cook some seasoned venison. I played today for maybe 6 hours, I never saw a deer, or for that matter any living thing, I rode from Strawberry to Colter, never found a deer, or anything. Eventually I went to Colter later on in a wagon I did find 2 elk, and in the swamp I eventually found 2 gators in a river I had to shot them in the water and then go in the river to skin them, but at least I found them, otherwise, I wasnt able to find anything else alive. I wrote to Rockstar to report it, but this has been this way for a while now, you just get good days here and there but many bad days, but today was the worst I have ever seen. It irritated me today because two of our daily challenges were very simple but if you cant find a deer or Egret you cant do them, and that cost me a bar of gold, so yeah, I am annoyed. I used to have a method to create a solo session that would sometimes last hours other times last 20 minutes but at least it gave me a few minutes of animals to hunt, but now, no matter what I try I can not get the game to spawn any animals. does anyone here have any ideas, work arounds, tricks I am not aware of? Anyone else experiencing this?1 point

- Smaller player counts on free roam servers until the animal spawn issue is solved properly. Say 16 players max. - Matchmaking on the Maggie Fike moonshiner story missions - Speakeasy "drunk interactions" in/around all saloons and triggered by regular intoxication from beer/bourbon/whiskey/rum. - Daily challenges that count properly - Ability to own multiple dogs/pets but just choose a current "Active Companion". I like some of the other dogs available but I can't say goodbye to my goodest boi. - Moonshine delivery wagon damage buff (Currently if you cross a railroad track, river or a posse mate jumps onto the passenger seat, it damages your bottles) - Horse training at the stable to add stat bars to speed, acceleration and health which could cost $500 per bar with a max of 3 to 6 bars between all three categories depending on "tier" of the base horse. (Higher tier horses would get 3 bars, lower tier horses up to 6 bars) - A posse ability to chain multiple trader goods wagons into one caravan/sell mission if 3 or more members each have a wagon ready. More risk, more reward.1 point

Well done! Did you get the face right (the way you wanted) on the first try? Again, great job.1 point

Really sharp, like it a lot. I'm similar, albeit with a blue frock coat over (I think) the same vest but in light grey/silver. Also twin-pearl-handled navies. Might as well look on point while going about your business! But seriously, really like your look. Hope to see you out on the range. I'll tip my hat.1 point

A remarkable amount of what worked for us on GTA was very transferable to Red Dead. The primary difference for us has to do with combat rules. On GTA we followed what's referred to as the 1% code. It's essentially a set of combat rules that apply to GTA MCs, which dictate that clubs will use freeaim and only Assault Rifles or less in combat. While there's much debate within the community about the specifics of the 1% code, that's a reasonable distillation. Obviously, these rules do not transfer into a world with auto-aim and magical potions, so we had to adapt our combat rules and approach to combat in general. GTA is a very hostile environment. Whenever we logged on, we were almost assured of a drawn out battle and thus, much of club culture revolved around the defense of the club and preparing for conflict with other crews. In Red Dead it is a much more chill environment and large-scale battles are far less frequent. I think this has allowed us to focus more on peaceful pursuits and it has resulted in a pretty big culture shift within the club. A LORD is a LORD regardless of platform or gameplay environment. Full members on GTA remain full members on RDO. Membership applies across all games and consoles. Activity is as high on RDO as it ever was on GTA. The transition was not without strain, but ultimately it has proven to be a great move for us. Many LORDs have been in the club five or more years on GTA, so having a completely new environment to adapt to has, in many ways, reinvigorated the club.1 point

I gotta say how impressed I am with the thoughtfulness of the questions posted to this thread. I've done many interviews on behalf of the club and never received so many challenging and insightful questions. I think it speaks very highly of this community. Thank you very much for providing this forum and opportunity for us to discuss our club with your members. I'll reply to each question individually. There are some things which we consider club business and do not discuss outside our membership, however, I'll be as open and candid as possible. Much love to LORD_Artorius and the admins of this site for creating this opportunity.1 point

Yeah, gotta have your weapon out and aiming to autopath your wagon. But you gotta keep your weapon pointed down otherwise every NPC you pass will start a fight thinking you're aiming at them. But like Hickok says, in trader deliveries, I take a lot of shortcuts and train tracks. Better to go a non traditional route.1 point

Considering all the bugs and crashes, you lose money but gain frustration while trying to do the moonshine role. I hope there is a patch soon. I think Marcel is sending it all back to France without you knowing.1 point

Not quite - it's cinematic mode. Which you get - on PC at least - by holding down the same button you use to switch views (V) for several seconds. If you do this with a waypoint set, while on the route and moving, your horse or wagon drives itself to the destination. Never done it with a wagon, but with a horse you don't even have to hold the forward button, it's hands free. Best to keep an eye on it though, horse not very smart. One time it bumped straight into the side of a train that was stopped at a station.1 point

Overall i like the new update - simply bcoz its new content. Im a bit disapointed that they havent learned that the progression in roles is way, way to fast. The bar thing is absolute B/S not generating any income. Havent tried the new revolver yet. Havent looked at the new horse yet (still need some lvls to 20). Sure there are some glitches but i had to be lucky bcoz i dont have the issues a lot of ppl are experiencing with the new update. I like the ability cards tweak. My general rate : 3/5 they could have done better.1 point

Actually the sketch only appears when you hunt an animal in that area just to inform you where can you see certain type of animals later on in game. In Story Mode the sketch stayed on the map but in online mode every time i start the game the map resets and only if i hunt there again the sketch will come back - i was wondering if its just me or all players>? I agree that animal spawns were decreased after the last update, Sth must be wrong bcoz you can hear the animal sounds but there are no animals to be found. Only Crows and rabbits,1 point

It's been a frustrating few days, lost track of the number of glitches. One of the positive things in this update, though, that I haven't seen mentioned yet: They tweaked some of the values of pelts for Cripps. Most notably, the pelts that take up the entire back slot of your horse are no longer necessarily a waste of space. Perfect Elk pelt is now 8.13 points, I think it used to be 4.50. Perfect Black Bear pelt is 4.38 points, I believe, still low-ish but better than it was. Didn't get a perfect Grizzly pelt yet, but a Good one was 4.50 I think, so I assume a perfect one will be 8+ as well. Perfect gator skin is 1.38 points, up from 0.66 - so still not really worth it, but I guess with how easy gators are to kill that makes sense. Other "normal" pelts, like deer & prong etc, also have increased in value. Especially perfect ones seem to have gone up a chunk. (I think in some or maybe even all cases, good and perfect pelts used to be worth the same - not totally sure, I stopped paying close attention a while ago. In any case, looks like they tweaked that now, for the better, and it's a bit easier to fill your bar now.) Not sure if the skins of smaller animals increased as well, I never really looked at those closely.1 point

Going to keep this in mind. I know there are issues happening left and right since the new update but I would not have thought to keep posse members behind.1 point

You probably already know this but you can check the stats of the saddles, and then remember you will add stirrups and that will make them even better. But you can comapre saddles tats to give you an idea of what to expect, the Nocolches is the one to match or beat, it is simply the best as far as stamina drain is concerned, you can run forever without losing stamina, But if you dont love the look some other pretty solid options are: If you are planning on doing a lot of running around the map and missions, then use the Noco, or try it anyway, then try your favorite looking saddle and se what the different in your game play is like so you can decide how important it is for you to have the very best in stamina drain. The new one for the moonshiner role is really good, again, if you like the look it is hit or miss, but I tried it with the best stirrups and it was really good. My old favorite was the Panther one, it is very good, as is the beaver roping and rattlesnake one too, all need the best stirrups and you still need to praise the horse as you ride hard for long distances, but they are of the top saddles. The Black and gold one that came with the bounty hunter role I forget the name, is also pretty good, I use it a lot on a few of my horses just because with my outfit and horse it looks amazing, it isnt as good as the Noco but it isnt a problem either. all you have to do is to praise the horse very so often to kind of refresh or sort of partially reset the stamina, on the Noco you basically dont even have to do that, but with these others you will have too here and there but its pretty simple and straight forward, I have many saddles I use them based on how they look on a given horse and what I am wearing, but lately I made a couple outfits that using the various Noco saddles look fine, I have 3 different ones, the blue, the red and the grey. DOnt be afraid to buy and try saddles, my advice is never spend gold on one if you can help it, use cash. Cash is very easy to come by in this game, use your trader and collector roles to make a lot of cash fast, you can make upwards of $4000 in a day if you apply yourself, and with the cash you can buy these saddles, most of them, I think tthe panther saddle is gold only and I think it is like 18 gold, but to me it was well worth it, I'm pretty sure there was no nocodolches saddle when I bought my panther saddle, and even though it is tan, I used it on my Grey Trotter because it was so good, but now things are different, there are a lot of great saddles.1 point

With no fast travel or camp for 20 minutes. Oh wait Cripps already handles the no camp issue.1 point

I thought I would get some revenue generated by all the "patrons" in my bar. Nope, after upgrading bar, making good shine, and hiring a band, nothing. Just a bunch of freeloaders. Honestly you could save yourself thousands by not even expanding your shack. It's neat to have a drunk slap fight with your posse, but really....how many times are you gonna do that? The novelty wore off after one time. The bar should generate something...anything...1 point

Like it says in the article, they want it to "disappear" into your entertainment center. I personally don't share that philosophy, I want something that jumps out and says, "Check it, this guy has the new Xbox!"1 point

Small weak batches? Not a big deal, just put them together and run them through the, um, wait we're talking about in the game right? Do continue..... I was happy to see the stats on the Navy pistol making it a decent gun, very happy to have that particular shootin' iron available. I'm only a few days away from being able to pick up the game and it makes me excited for it even more. I am sure they are going to get these issues straightened out, I have seen games recover from far worse launches and do very well indeed. Rockstar seems to be putting in more effort than a lot of other game companies I have dealt with over the years, so I can be rather more patient with them if need be.0 points
