Yeah, I'm not saying you were flaming (which in itself is fine btw even if you were) but simply don't see any evidence they would do it. However, they did say in an interview I recall that they didn't have an interest in introducing such a thing but haven't ruled it out. Even if they did, I would expect that they have fully digested what has been going on. I just don't see R* making a mistake implementing something they know others have caught so much flak for. If they did, I would imagine it would be from a different angle at least. R*s MTX models are one of the few that i actually like.

As I recall, you struggled in RDO in the beginning. .....a lot. More than many around here if I'm going to be honest. Almost giving up the game a couple times in fact. A lot of us tried providing advice and over time, you started coming around. IIRC, that was due in part to following some of the suggestions folks provided and eventually, the changes that R* made to the game and the fact that you stuck with it. You got over your hurdles and have done a complete 180 which is great. However, what I never agreed with was the take on some of the griefing issues, etc. being so much worse in those days as I felt a lot was simply due to the way people were exposing themselves to trolls. The fact is, some of the problems were not that difficult to mitigate which is what some of us were trying to drive home for those having issues. .....joining a posse, spawning in several states from your destination, using the app to spot other players, etc. There's no doubt the new tools, revisions of existing ones, penalties and such have greatly helped, but there were always effective ways to help people avoid the griefing problem and some of them still work really well today. ....and it really has little to do with being kitted out or leveled up IMO.

....nor do I expect we would. We don't have them in GTAO either, right? Just Shark Cards for in-game cash and GBs. ......all of which can already be obtained through playing the game / grinding, occasional bonuses / gifts, etc.

I would read the discussions in the Pc sub forum that I am moving this thread to. See if there are any solutions provided by other player that may help your friend. Also, I would tell him to be persistent with R*. Try the suggestions they provide but be sure to report back to them on the trouble ticket when they don't work. They are working on several issues right now and have been releasing hotfixes that have helped some but not others. I would stay tuned here as we tend to post up any new news that comes our way on updates, etc. I'd also recommend checking the stickies.

Be persistent with your trouble ticket. Also, are you sure you went through their Support page and not the Feedback site? ......just asking because they will not respond via the latter. It is only meant as a suggestion box of sorts.

Nothing that would be convenient to my knowledge. In the rare instances I've crashed I don't recall losing anything really important especially on my character. ......maybe my horse (a few pelts or the like).

Well, you can't sleep in online so I wouldn't worry about that part of your concern. .......yeah, the camps seem not to work correctly for some more than others.

It's not an option on console and I had not heard that it was an option on PC.

In one of the new roles you can unlock a gun locker to store weapons you don't use similar to GTAO.

I'm not a feminist myself in the sense of what it can mean these days but I can understand how this can be a more sensitive subject to some in various ways. Not the way I expected the conversation to go either and apologies to the OP for that. I think we can all move past it though. ....no worries. Just assumed you were a woman as well.

Exactly..... I don't take it personally but then again, I might consider trying to take or blow up their supplies at that point when I wouldn't have otherwise.

Well, I was trying to be diplomatic in my reply but since you asked..... What she wrote didn't deserve to what amounted to being termed a "B" IMO so I removed that one post of yours. I also considered the context and perhaps your particular sensitivity to the "mansplaining" label, etc. which is why I tried to diffuse it by asking everyone to move on. .....no warnings, etc. Clear enough, yes?

I merged these two threads together and placed this in the PC section as it seems to specifically apply there. Again, if this is an exploit issue having to do with griefers, the best advice would be to keep your posses "invite only" and don't leave them open so any "random" player can join. That's an open invitation for trolls and not worth the potential headache IMO.

It's obvious R* took a different tack from GTAO when they created RDO. With that in mind, how do you see the Reaper Lord's role differing in the RDO game world than it does in GTA? Now that you're expanding into RDO, how does a members standing in the group change between games or does it? Are you finding a lot of current TR members showing an interest in RDO?

Let's be careful about listing names here. My suggestion if anyone does have information on the individual(s) is to contact R* Support via their site. Their is a specific way to report players and / or groups there. Also, you can bring up your ban and request they review your case. Personally, I would use the route of creating a trouble ticket regardless as there is no other way to plead your case apparently. ......unless someone knows a phone #?

I felt the same way once I started playing RDO. I'm surprised that mechanic didn't transfer over as I had used it numerous times in the campaign.
