11/13/19 RDR2 Official PC Update on Stuttering Issues, etc.
Kean_1 replied to Kean_1's topic in Red Dead Online
Remember, there is supposed to be a follow up patch in a few days that may also help address this issue for more people. In any event, I would suggest folks continue to submit tickets especially if the updates are not fixing the problem for them and/or are making it worse, etc. -
....moving this to the PC forum seeing that is a PC-specific problem. fyi, I had seen a recent article from PC Gamer in regard to health core usage being tied to FPS (with a workaround by locking yours at 30 fps), but I have no idea if this is tied into this particular problem. In either case, I would contact R* Support.

I did it by fishing. .....lots of fishing.

11/14/19 Title Update 1.14 Notes (PS4 / Xbox One / PC)

On PC right? .....report it. -
I'm at 51%, what does that mean? 50% of what?...
Kean_1 replied to Trespasser's question in Questions & Answers
What chapter are you on? Although not equal in length, that may be a better gauge to figure out generally how far along you are in the story. That's what I determined my progress in the story by when I played the campaign. -
R* has all the data and can see which series is more popular, etc. I'm sure that plays into it. They also take feedback into consideration. We've been seeing the reappearance of free aim modes for example in PvP which IMO is a good indicator for folks who like that mechanic. ....and who knows. Maybe that opens the door to free aim lobbies. I recall reading something in regard to R*s surprise that PvP isn't as popular in RDO as they thought it would be. What's interesting is that I see some other companies providing more coop / PvE options perhaps coming to the realization that there may be a larger segment of the community that enjoys this too. ...or perhaps instead of PvP. .....but now I'm getting off topic.

I'll would make sure to report it to R*. -
Cannot Continue using the application.

I've had something similar happen to a game a few weeks ago when the power was disconnected to my PS4. It was essentially the same msg I got. In my case, another reboot resolved it though from what I remember. -
The campaign is really stocked with content and if you don't rush and explore the various side missions / activities, it will take you a long time to finish the game. ....so for me, a couple extra activities, etc. is likely not worth the extra amount especially if you have no interest in the rest of it. Remember, there is also the online portion where you can essentially start your own story for your own character in the RDR2 game world.
-
If that the case and the game doesn't allow the change, it could very well be because they considered this about losing the clothing. .....especially since some of these items can be bought with gold and therefore real money. They probably just didn't want to deal with the hassle of people requesting refunds for clothing they bought, exchanges for ladies / mens clothes, etc.

Please Add these 2 Hats in the next RDO Outlaw pass

R* did.... Keep submitting your feedback. You never know what may end up being considered especially if they get enough requests. -
For those who haven't read the article posted on 9/27 in this forum, I would suggest you do. It offers more insight into the future of RDO like properties: Roles are also discussed at some length including the possibility of delving deeper into the dishonorable path (@James Hickok_1837): Here's the article: https://www.vg247.com/2019/09/27/red-dead-online-future-heists-villain-lawmen-business/ The fact of the matter is that there is much more to come and as Scott Butchard (R*) mentions in this interview: I can't stress enough how important your feedback is to this process. Many changes have been made thus far as a direct result of community feedback which is why I may sound like a broken record but firmly believe the importance of people submitting their ideas, suggestions, etc. to R* here: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadonline/feedback?redirect_lang=en_us

Has anyone seen a player bounty hunt pop up yet?
Kean_1 replied to Freakshow9191's topic in Red Dead Online
R* has said that there will be new roles and the existing ones will also evolve. .....so who knows. -
I'm at 51%, what does that mean? 50% of what?...

Graphics stuttering or stalling in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC Created November 14, 2019Updated November 14, 2019 FollowPrint Question: The graphics in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC stutter or stall for several seconds when playing, how can I fix it? Answer: We have identified an issue with certain NVIDIA graphics card drivers that cause significant stalls of several seconds on systems with 4-core and 6-core CPUs. While we work with NVIDIA to improve driver performance, a temporary work around can be added to the launch arguments of the game to re-balance workload on the CPU cores and avoid the conditions that cause this issue. Note: This workaround might slightly change performance in towns on some of the hardware configurations. We will review the scheme following future graphics card driver updates. Not sure if you're aware but I am a paying customer like you. RDR2.org is a fan site that isn't affiliated with R* or Take Two in any way. There are no R* representatives that interact openly on these forums. I get the frustration and that people want to share that here and that's fine. We encourage folks to participate. .....but we don't need multiple posts or threads stating the same argument which was my point. I'm just trying to help the PC folks out by posting the latest news and updates regarding some of these issues. I'm trying to avoid people having to wade through all of that just to get to the information that might actually be helpful to resolving their problems. I hope that clears things up. -
