  1. Check the options menu. It's in there. .....at least it is for controller.
  2. A segment of the community are experiencing the issue, yes. I figured there would be quite a few problems with the PC launch. Console had a similar rough patch at first as well.
  3. I don't know what to tell you in that case. Just make sure you're submitting a trouble ticket to R* to make them aware that you're having the issue. If they say they're are aware of it and working toward a resolution, then it may just be a waiting game at that point. I would keep checking online though as these issues have a way of clearing up without any sort of sign.
  4. In the campaign? You can save the game. Go into the main menu and select "STORY". There is a save feature in there. In some parts of the game it won't allow you to use this function so just make sure you save before any big encounters, main missions, etc.
  5. I recall they said you can try larger increments but it's not a garaunteed fix. May have to fiddle with it or perhaps it may never work in your case.
  6. I read a write up about it that was relatively detailed but can't find it again.
  7. Why didn't you use the "Press Charges" and "Parlay" options available to you? As I recall, you respawn a little further away and have immunity for a period of time.
  8. In case some here in the PC subforum didn't see this thread in the Online section: For our newer PC members who may not know, R* has been releasing RDO content like this every Tuesday for many months. Larger title updates, patches and the sot don't necessarily follow the same schedule. Feel free to poke your head into the Online forum from time to time for more news as it comes if you're not already. For a running list of these updates, here is the sticky where they are compiled for easy reference: I also created a similar sticky in this forum but that is more for PC-specific updates and news of interest.
  9. ....there was a thread about that at one point actually.
  10. Kinda not the point of the OPs thread but I hope you find a satisfactory resolution so you are able to leave this behind you.
  11. Yeah, I've discovered there are quite a few here like me over 50 and others in their 30s & 40s. It's probably why the temperment around here is relatively mellow for the most part.
  12. ok. Just throwing it out there as that has been the issue with some.
  13. ....he's old like us so I'm sure he knows.
  14. Wait.... What country are you from? It could very well be that it is restricted due to your local laws. There are several countries that are not able to access the gambling feature in RDO because of this. I don;t have a list of those but that could be the case here.
  15. Something is up then. May be a bug or perhaps something you're doing / not doing? I rarely set up camps myself as I usually join other friends posses.
  16. Setting up camp seems to be a little bugged for some. Also, I can't recall if it's lvl limited or not. Btw, you can cook at most fires that are "open". ...meaning that they don't have lots hanging over them, etc. I do this from time to time after clearing gang hideouts or when I run across them instead of riding back to my camp. Fyi.... In case you were wondering, you can't sleep in RDO because the passage of time remains constant unlike in the SP campaign.
  17. You're still talking about online, right? You don't sleep in RDO like you did in the campaign.
  18. You should also get a treasure map awarded to you at that level so be sure to collect that from the Post Office or I believe you can do that from your lockbox as well at your camp. .....and then you get one every 5th lvl IIRC.
  19. ......I might add that R* (from time to time) has provided free money, gold, gifts, etc. simply for logging in to the game for example. They will also bonuses that increase payouts in certain types of activities at times in the weekly updates. I forgot to add in my last post but remember also to check your Award progress in the Progress menu. For those Awards that you complete, there may be an option to reset it which will net you some gold nuggets and XP increase. Don't forget about treasure maps that awarded at level 10 and then every 5th level thereafter. The cash payouts will vary but can be relatively significant at times. The point is, there are tons of other ways to make money by simply playing the game, leveling up, etc. Look into those @JohnDew.
  20. RED BEN CLEMPSON: RUTHLESS TRAIN ROBBER AND MURDERERPLUS NEW FREE AIM SERIES, WEEKLY COLLECTION, CLOTHING AND MORE With Red Dead Redemption 2 now available for PC, all the latest (and forthcoming) updates to Red Dead Online including this week's Legendary Bounty, new Weekly Collection and much more are available across all platforms. Authorities have placed a bounty on the head of one Red Ben Clempson, known for wreaking havoc on local train routes and leader of the notorious Red Ben Gang. Bold and brazen, Clempson fancies himself a bit of a dandy with a taste for fine tailored suits and haberdashery, making him easy for bounty hunters to identify should he choose to strike again. He and his gang were last seen stalking the train tracks in New Austin, looking for their next score. But be forewarned: Clempson is a known sharpshooter and considered armed and dangerous to all who dare approach. Avid Collectors can earn their living this week by tracking down the Blood Flower, Chocolate Daisy and Creek Plum for Madam Nazar, thereby assembling the Herbalist's Collection. Deliver the collection to Madam Nazar directly or mail it via your local Post Office for a handsome sum. Meanwhile, crackshot players looking for a test of skill, reflexes and dexterity can assess theirs in this week's Featured Free-Aim Series, Sport of Kings. The Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue has plenty on offer this week, including the Cardozo Vest, available for a limited time only. The Dunaway Coat, the Purkiss and Pearrow Hats, Union Cap, Farley Shirt and Tillson Sweater, meanwhile, are all permanent additions. Patrons can also browse new colorways of the Ledbetter Hat, Fuentes Poncho and Killiman Vest, plus new footwear options with the Parson Boots, Rowland Boots, Cerrada Boots and Cibola Boots. The Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Club and The Outlaw Pass on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 come to a close this week, ending on November 18th. Remember, all exclusive Outlaw Pass rewards up to your current Club Rank unlock instantly with the purchase of The Outlaw Pass and everything you unlock before November 18th stays with you permanently. Visit the Progress menu to view your Club Rank. As an added bonus for players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Outlaw Pass holders who reach Club Rank 70 by the end of the week will receive an all-white Cardozo Vest, free of charge (in addition to acquiring all the debonair stylings and professional benefits The Outlaw Pass delivers, of course). Collectors will be happy to hear that they can take 25% off the retail price of the Pennington Field Shovel and 50% off all Collector Maps, while also receiving a 25% bonus on RDO$ payouts on all Collector Sets. PlayStation Plus members can collect the Page of Pentacles, Knight of Pentacles, Queen of Pentacles and King of Pentacles Tarot Cards, simply by playing Red Dead Online any time before November 18. 21. Here are some links to threads where the OPs have found solutions that work for them and other discussions sharing possible fixes you can try if you're having troubles:
  22. When posting technical issue and troubleshooting topics, please keep in mind that RDR2.org is a fan site not affiliated with Rockstar Games or TakeTwo. We are simply fans like you of the game. However, we do have a knowledgeable community here with all kinds of backgrounds and experience. Chances are, someone might have the same problem as you and possibly even a solution or helpful advice. Also, we would encourage you to submit a trouble ticket with Rockstar if you are having problems with the game. Even with known issues it's important that people continue to submit their reports with R* as it might help provide them with an idea of what the problem may be and perhaps even expedite a fix. Try to be as descriptive as possible in your feedback. Below is the link to the Rockstar Support site. Responses are typically within 24 hrs during the week IME but I believe they ask to allow 48: https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/115001624507 You can also submit suggestions and various feedback here if you wish, although you will not receive a response. This link is more like a suggestion box of sorts that Rockstar monitors: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadonline/feedback If you find a resolution to your problem, please report back what worked for you. You solution may end up helping someone else. ....and please follow the rules. Please don't artificially "bump" or create duplicate threads on the same subject, etc. Everyone's issue is just as important to them as your's is to you. Thank You
  23. All I can suggest is that everyone who has a particular problem should be submitting their own trouble tickets to R* Support and be persistent if you are not getting an answer.
  24. Well, a couple of things..... RDR2.org is not affiliated with R* or Take Two. This is a fan site and there are no representatives from R* that openly interact here. To get the attention of R* Support, you can already do that through opening a trouble ticket via R* Support here: https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/115001624507?redirect_lang=en_us&_ga=2.73562000.387525033.1573566937-1955112014.1545627341 The forum rules were created for a reason. The fact is that it's not fair to the rest of the community members if we allowed people to continually bump threads or post duplicates because they though their issue, topic, idea, suggestions, etc. warranted an exception above others. It also clutters the forums and makes it more difficult for people to navigate, participate in discussions, find threads, etc. Sometimes, reviving old threads is fine as is continuing a discussion which will naturally let topics filter to the top. However, posting "bump" to put your thread on top of everyone else's or creating multiple threads is not. Also, it's not like these threads in question are getting buried on the second or third page. ....so yeah, "rules are rules" but they were created on a whim. They are there for a reason and that reason is with the interest of the site and the community in mind. Thank you.
  25. Please don't "bump" posts. Have you submitted a trouble ticket through R* Support? If not, I suggest you do: https://support.rockstargames.com/categories/115001624507?redirect_lang=en_us&_ga=2.20753272.1588532272.1573543337-1793910812.1573543337
