My suggestion would be to let R* know this via their Feedback and Support sites: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadonline/feedback?redirect_lang=en_us

The feedback link allows you to submit your feedback (e.g. likes, dislikes, suggestions, etc.). You will never receive a response when submitting feedback. That's not the way it works. Besides, what would you expect them to say besides a canned response they would give everyone? ...."Thank you for your submission. We review all feedback and appreciate your contribution". Don't think that the feedback doesn't matter because it does. In fact, many of the changes made since the beta for RDO were a direct result of this feedback. .....and just because your particular idea isn't implemented doesn't mean that they don't care or think it's a bad idea but perhaps it's just not that popular? ....so, use the Feedback site if you want or don't if you think you're wasting your time. In either case, I doubt you will ever get a personal response acknowledging your request for these items and a confirmation that they'll be included. That's just not the way it works. The fact of the matter is that if enough people submit the same or similar ideas, then it may likely be included in the game at some point. ......but if no one submits these suggestions then nothing will get done, right?

That is excellent advice and what R* recommends as well. In fact, part of the reason they delayed to the released of RDO with the console was to allow some time for players to get immersed and enjoy the campaign first. For some reason a think a good portion of folks jump right in to online with the idea that if they don't, they'll be left behind, etc.

You don't use dead eye looking for herbs. You use Eagle Eye or simply look for them without it. With Eagle Eye, they will appear in fields with columns of highlight firefly's if sort rising above them. ....sorry, don't know the functions on PC. EDIT: looks like @The_Liquor beatme to it.

......that's not really what the OP was asking though. I would take up @NastyNatives offer and play with them so they can show you the ropes. You learn so much that way about the game IMO/IME.

You've got a knife, right? Just off the top of my head.... You can kill someone and steal their money. You can trample on fish in the shallows of rivers and collect them in the water or as they wash up on shore. You can get up close and kill animals in a pen on farms. Obviously, some of those actions come with consequences of their own. .....or how about this.... Pick herbs and sell them to the doc / shop. There's plenty of them and you can get enough money to buy some ammo so you can hunt. Build up your ammo next time and keep an eye on it.

The owner turned it on at one point because we were getting overwhelmed by spammers, etc. and it's been working great. It has nothing to do with people sharing negative or critical opinions about the game so feel free to do so. ....as long as it's done in a civil manner and follows the rules obviiusly.

No, at the present time you can't keep wagons that you steal. Only those you purchase, etc.

There has also been 2-3 updates to the launcher R* has announced. ....I've been updating the sticky I created with Twitter announcements from R* Support.

Thanks @Volt for your contributions these past couple days since the PC launch to try and help people with their various issues as R* works through these teething problems. I'm certain those in the community it helps sure appreciate it as do I.

I posted this the other day in another thread but... RDR2 stands as one of the best single player games in ages that took ~3,000 people over 7 years to create with a main story script of about 2,000 pages long, about 500,000 lines of dialogue, over 2,000 days of motion capture work, etc. The level of detail in RDR2 sets a benchmark in the gaming industry IMO. It was also a resounding success in sales and with the critics. That doesn't sound like a company to me who has given up on creating single player experiences or has sacrificed SP for MP. In fact, R* still stands as one of the few out there that do it right IMO and they tell us time and time again in interviews how committed they are to SP campaigns. .....while other companies trim theirs down or chose to remove them (often backfiring I might add). RDR2 is a huge, complete and robust campaign that tells a complete story as a prequel to RDR1. RDO is a continuation of the game as you become the main character and choose your path in the RDR2 world. A lot of the missions that are made available still tie into the main game. R* has done a lot to create an environment for all types of players including those preferring to play solo. It really has little in common with GTAO in that regard and is still evolving.

I was going to say Eagle.... I play with someone your age. lol I'm not too far behind though. btw, we got to get back into it Rage.

A hotfix is essentially just a quick and targeted fix for a bug, etc. vs. a larger update that may contain several changes addressing multiple issues, adding content, etc. .....like a title update.

I guess you're going to see what you want to see regardless. ....that's fine.
